361 Chapter 361: He’s Very Persisten

Nathalia rolled her eyes and sneered. What? A beauty. Ha-ha. A great storyteller she is.

Those that heard Kelly turned to look at her jealousy. A young businessman smiled and said, "That's great. Would you please introduce us to Mr. Nate Morgan?"

In order to get to know Nate Morgan, everyone had to try every way they could. They paid Kelly compliments, hoping to get her help. Proud and pleased, Kelly answered happily, "No problem."

I've deliberately dressed up for tonight. I'm sure I can charm him. And sooner or later, I can defeat Nathalia Davidson! Kelly thought.

Who knows whether it is true or not? But just in case. It's a chance to get to know Mr. Nate Morgan anyway. They had doubts, but we're pleased with Kelly's answer.

"Miss Kelly Berry, that's very kind of you." They thanked her and then said to Vincent Berry, "You are a lucky man to have such a wonderful daughter."

Vincent smiled proudly, "I am indeed." I need others' support now that we have irritated the Davidsons. Vincent thought.

Curt and Matt appeared indifferent, as if they were completely oblivious to their conversations.

Nathalia watched and listened quietly. When did Nate Morgan ever show interest in her? What's wrong with her, making things up? She's going to make a fool of herself.

Nate Morgan walked through the crowd towards their direction. Kelly's face lit up, her heart racing fast. "My god. He's coming this way." She exclaimed with excitement.

The crowd watched enviously, thinking, Nate Morgan does know her! No wonder the Berry family dared to annoy Curt Davidson just then.

With a gentle smile on his face, Nate Morgan approached closer. Impatiently, Kelly moved towards him quickly and said, "Mr. Nate Morgan, it's such a pleasure to see you again. You look incredibly charming tonight."

Nate Morgan looked a bit puzzled and knitted his brows. "I don't think we have met." His voice was so pleasant to the ear, like a singing stream flowing down the valley, clear and gentle.

Stunned, Kelly froze and blushed with embarrassment.

The crowd rolled their eyes, speechless. Nathalia couldn't help bursting out, chuckling. "Ha-ha."

Vincent Berry was confused and worried. Does he really not remember Kelly? Or is he embarrassing her intentionally?

Kelly quickly recomposed herself. She stroked her chest deliberately and looked at Nate affectionately. "Oh, Mr. Nate Morgan, don't you remember we met yesterday in the department store? You told me that I'm a beauty." She said bashfully.

"A beauty?" Nate Morgan took a look at Kelly and went on, "I'm sure I have better taste."

Kelly's jaw dropped, and couldn't utter a word.

Hearing Nathalia's laughter, Nate Morgan turned to look at her and said gently, "I'm very pleased that I've amused you, Mrs. Nathalia Davidson. And I have to tell you that you look stunning tonight."

On hearing so, both Curt and Matt frowned, looking a bit displeased.

Nathalia shrugged her shoulders and replied confidently, "I believe I look stunning all the time, not just tonight. But you do have better taste." She took a look at Kelly as she spoke.

Kelly clenched her fists angrily. Bitch! She cursed silently.

Nate smiled and nodded, "Right. Absolutely right. You are stunning, indeed, so were you yesterday. You are like the brightest and precious gem."

Nathalia chuckled a bit, finding him too exaggerative with his words. "I'm flattered, Mr. Nate Morgan. You can save your sweet and flattery words for others."

Nate Morgan walked past Kelly and went over to Nathalia with a smile. "I'm only speaking the truth from the bottom of my heart."

Seeing the two of them talking like an old acquaintance, the crowd was puzzled. Wendy plucked up her courage and asked, "Do you two know each other?" But how come?

Nate answered without taking his eyes off Nathalia, "We met yesterday, though how I wish I had met Mrs. Nathalia Davidson earlier!" He put his hand out, expecting to receive Nathalia's and plant a kiss on it.

Nathalia looked at him, thoughtfully. He's very persistent. I rejected him yesterday, and now he's trying again. She didn't have the intention of accepting his courtesy.

Taking no notice of his waiting hand, Nathalia tilted her head slightly and said, "Anyway, we have met."

"Just at the perfect time." Nate Morgan added quickly with an understanding smile. Proud and cheeky girl. He thought and retreated his hand.

Wendy tapped Nathalia's hand a few times, hoping she would explain. What's going on here? These two seem to know each other well.

It was obvious that Nate Morgan was indifferent and even cold to others, but showed affection towards Nathalia, boldly.

Nathalia rolled her eyes and continued discouragingly, "I don't know about that. It's probably better if we didn't meet at all."

The crowd was shocked to hear that and felt worried for Nathalia that Nate Morgan would get angry.

However, to their surprise, Nate Morgan chuckled and said with a cheeky wink, "That would be a great shame if I didn't meet you, Mrs. Nathalia Davidson."

"Ha-ha, you don't know me yet," Nathalia said casually, impressed by Nate's persistence.

"So I'm going to get to know you. Let's be friends," Nate said cheerfully and extended his hand again, but this time, for a handshake.

The two conversed naturally, playfully, and frankly. Nate had no intention of hiding his affection for Nathalia at all, and the crowd could tell easily. They were a bit taken aback by his frankness, yet at the same time amazed by the fact that he had picked the most excellent girl in Miami.

However, she was a married woman.

Nathalia showed her left hand, her palm open, and the diamond-studded ring on her ring finger sparkled. "I'm not sure if my husband will be pleased. I care very much about how he feels."
