390 Chapter 390: Bring Spencer Back Home Safe

Curt looked away from her gaze. Nathalia's heart sank, and tears filled her eyes.

The airline crew was terribly anxious. This was the most dreadful thing. It was a destructive disaster.

It wasn't just anyone. It was Spencer Davidson, the heir of the Davidsons!

The manager said meekly, "I'm terribly sorry. It's confirmed that Mr. Spencer Davidson has boarded the plane, together with six bodyguards and two assistants. They had booked first-class seats, seven in total, and here's the list..."

Nathalia opened her eyes wide and shook her head frantically. "No. It's impossible. He went on his private plane. He didn't need to take your airline. It must be a mistake. This is not funny at all."

The manager was desperate. Royal Air had been the most trusted and renowned airline. There was never any accident for decades. This was the only accident, and Spencer Davidson was one of the victims!

"We are serious, Mrs. Nathalia Davidson. I'm sorry." He looked at Nathalia sincerely, and apologetically.

His only hope was to rescue Spencer. As long as he's alive, then it's still hopeful. If not, if not, then the airline is over. He thought anxiously.

Nathalia saw the name on the list, but she still refused to believe it. "I don't believe you. This is not true. I will call him. I will call him..." she muttered.

She didn't know what else she could do except dialing the number again and again. He was the man she loved the most, the only man. He was the one who gave her hope, who loved her unconditionally. She couldn't lose him. She couldn't even bear to think about it.

Just then, her phone rang. She answered instantly, "Spencer!"

"Mrs. Nathalia Davidson, I'm terribly sorry..." It was one of Spencer's four assistants that accompanied him on this trip. He was crying on the phone.

Nathalia still wouldn't accept the truth. "What are you talking about? Where are you? Where's Spencer? Put him on the phone." This must be a joke Spencer's playing with me! Nothing bad would ever happen to him. He's the best man in the world. He's the strongest.

The assistant had just got the news and called Nathalia straight away. He himself couldn't believe the news either.

Nathalia felt her head spinning dizzily. She held onto the desk to support herself. "No. No. No." She repeated, looking blankly on the floor.

It's my fault. I rushed him! I wanted him to come home soon. That's why he took the flight. It's my fault! It's my fault!

These thoughts tormented her. She dropped the phone and started pulling her hair distressingly. Her face was so pale that it was frighteningly worrying. She felt her heart being torn apart, and as if thousands of knives were poking and slicing her skin, she found herself gasping for breath.

Frightened, Lisa embraced her and stroked her hair gently, hoping to soothe her, "Nathalia, Nathalia, hush. There's still hope. My girl." She was weeping herself.

Curt held both of Nathalia's hands with strength. "I have sent a rescue group to the crash site. I will get him home safe." He said with determination. This was his only hope. Spencer was not just his son. He was also the heir of the Davidsons. Curt knew he couldn't lose Spencer, that he had to save him, to bring him back.

Nathalia felt the strength of his hands. She looked at the man who had been so strong and invisible, and she felt hope again. "Dad, please bring Spencer home. Promise me."

Curt nodded. He had employed all the resources he had to investigate and rescue.

Seeing that Nathalia had calmed down a bit. Lisa heaved a sigh and stopped weeping.

Just then, there were hurrying steps coming from the door, and all of a sudden, Sue rushed in and demanded, "Where's Spencer? Where's my son?" She looked intense and extremely focused yet confused at the same time.

Curt was startled. He took a look at Matt, who was behind Sue and saw the helpless expression on his face.

"Sue, you need to rest. I will take care..."

"I won't die. Don't you worry! I have to see my son!" She screamed hysterically.

Spencer was her only son and her everything. This would be a fatal hit to her life if she lost her son. In her mind, there was only one thought that her son was in danger.

Curt's head ached terribly. He didn't have the energy left to comfort her. Everyone was shocked by Sue's screaming. It pierced through Nathalia's heart. "Mum..." she intended to reach Sue's hand with hers, but Sue slapped it away and yelled at her angrily, "You are cursed! You are a devil! You've done this to my son! When Spencer comes back, I have to separate you two. He's my only son. I won't let anything happen to him."

Nathalia stared at Sue in a complete loss. The pain was written all over her face.

Lisa supported her and took the hand that had been slapped into her hands. "How can you believe that nonsense?! That man said those things on purpose. He was trying to drive a wedge between you two. Don't fall into his trap." She defended Nathalia protectively.
