Chapter 146 - Stay with Mommy

"Dr. Wang?" Li Feng reached out, but this time, he could clearly see that his hand was actually his mother's. Unlike earlier, the image before him reflected a different person. If he was merely reliving her memories, then it made sense. He reached out his hand, but he didn't touch the doctor's head. He was more fascinated by the fact that that hand was his mother's.

A line of pain came physically from his navel area as if he was aggravating a stitch.

"Bingbing?" Wang Yusheng lifted his head, and his shock had jolted him awake. He combed his hair back with a hand and quickly sat on the edge of his bed. "Bingbing? You're awake. Does it hurt?" He then watched the woman hold onto her belly and realized that the inflation had gone. "...I couldn't save her. Her head..."

He reached out and combed through Mian Bingbing's hair. "Listen, I… I will take full responsibility. I already said that, didn't I? You don't have to be scared—"

Li Feng was only watching at this point. Unlike earlier, he felt his body moving without any of his commands. Mian Bingbing then grabbed Wang Yusheng's collar and shook him once. She only walked without regarding Li Heilong again. However, she still looked for his car in the parking lot and waited for him to drive her back to the Li Family Estate.

'Daddy seems to be so obedient to Mommy. He managed to hold his questions for so long...' Li Feng sighed as he continued to watch things from his mother's perspective. However, he couldn't shake off the feeling that she looked so sad in the reflection. Moreover, she kept on feeling her belly as if missing something. Li Feng was shocked when the next moment Mian Bingbing blinked, he was already at a different place. It looked like his parents' bedroom, but the light was off so he couldn't see much. "They all just wanted to take me away from Mommy..." The baby spoke, and Li Feng jerked back. He then realized that the memory trip had stopped, and he was now conversing with the ghost king. When he turned back to the baby, it had already grown double the size he knew she had. The baby then grabbed him in a tight squeeze. "Why do you get to stay with Mommy while I can't? We're… the same. We're both her children!"
