Chomp! A big mouth chomped down at the man's head, and he screamed so loud as he tried to get out of it. He was pulled back and into the ground, the ghost trying to bite through his neck. He cried for help, but none of the psychics dared to help… or move at least. From their view, the ghost was not something they had seen before—even Chuan Nayi was shocked.
The entity was sized like a rather small-framed, slender male. His dark hair was lush and long, but his head… was too big. The mouth itself was capable of putting a human head inside, and it also seemed to be situated on top of his head rather than where it should be. They could also see the hollowed eyes and the soft, tall nose.
The entity was on the ground like trying to imitate a spider. Strong gray color painted the complexion, and the body seemed to be wearing a tattered cotton set. It looked like a striped uniform, not a pajama.
"What is that…?" Chuan Nayi had seen ghosts before, and she was familiar with Ye Ling and Guangru. However, it was the first time that she had seen a ghost with bizarre features. She didn't know what to make out of it, and she was disturbed by the fact that the ghost was capable…
"Help! Help me!" The man tried to scream as he forced open the mouth, but the ghost momentarily lifted its teeth before chomping down again. This time, the teeth penetrated the skin and draw blood from the man. The psychic made gurgling noises as his throat was pierced. He continued to struggle for his life, but another chomp severed his spinal cord. The psychic instantly died, but the ghost still tried to tear through the neck to sever the head.
The girls held onto their mouths as they didn't want to be noticed by the entity. Even if they wanted to escape, it was blocking the exit of the room. Chuan Nayi reached behind her to collect the red walkie-talkie, but as soon as she gripped on it, a flask was thrown across the room. Bang! It broke on the floor… right in front of Chuan Nayi.
'What the…' Chuan Nayi was frozen, but the ghost only twitched and soon dropped it. Her eyes then slid to the side as the other psychics were slowly moving to the side as if trying to get near the exit without getting in the ghost's line of sight. Moreover, one of the girls actually held something else in her hand while visibly tearing up. She was the one who threw the flask. 'Oh, I'm the sacrifice then…'
Chuan Nayi's hand let go of the walkie-talkie before picking up another item in the box behind her. It was a block of wood used as a paperweight. She raised her hand as if showing it to the group who first threw something her way. Their eyes widened so badly as if scared of revenge. However, Chuan Nayi mouthed: 'Don't look back.'
Whoosh! Chuan Nayi threw the block on the actual ghost, and it strongly twitched and used its hollowed eyes to look. What made her more terrified was that eyes appeared from the bottom of the sockets, but the purple irises occupied almost the whole ball, no pupils. The big mouth then curled into an open smile.
"What the hell…?" Chuan Nayi felt strange.
The ghost seemed to have a beautiful face, but his head was just too big and strange for anyone's liking. The way he looked was like Chuan Nayi was looking at his face through the fish-eye lens. She would do something else, but blood poured from the ghost's head as if a warning. He then jumped like a frog towards Chuan Nayi. A scream came from her as she dove out of the way. The ghost landed on her wheelchair and broke it, getting trapped in the metal frame it had.
With the ghost out of the way, the psychics ran off while trying not to trip over the dead body or scream as they went. Chuan Nayi could only listen to their fading footstep before turning to the big-headed frog ghost. However, when she looked back, it was not there anymore. Her eyes widened before feeling that something had dripped on her face. Upon seeing blood, she raised her eyes and saw the frog hanging from the ceiling.
"Shit!" Chuan Nayi couldn't help but curse out loud as she rolled out of the way. The frog dropped to the ground and moved to catch her. Before she could get up and run off, the frog reached out to grab onto her ankle. She tried to kick it off, but it only jumped at her when it released its hold.
"Ahhh!" Chuan Nayi screamed as the frog pinned her down. The purple eyes moved erratically as it tried to take a look at her. The mouth then opened as if trying to devour her, but Chuan Nayi used her hands to push against the entity. She continued screaming before she called out, "Guangru! Help me!"
Push! As if that name scared the frog, it suddenly lost to Chuan Nayi's push. The big head was thrown back, and its body followed. Chuan Nayi used both legs to kick it off some more before struggling to get up. She ran out of the room and took the direction opposite of what the rest had taken.
The frog remained on the floor, with its face on the panel. It was bent in a C-shape, but it didn't move again. In the silence of the room, two words came out of his mouth: "Guangru… Xiaodan…"
Li Feng had also bumped into a few more psychics. Some of them had a walkie-talkie, and that included Li Feng. He didn't mind handing it to someone else later as long as he finished the task. The group of ten people walked the halls with some guy leading them. Not long enough, they started hearing a few screams here and there. The girls gathered together while the men stepped back. Li Feng was the only one who didn't move.
Not because he didn't hear it, but because something in the corner of his eye actually attracted his attention. Li Feng took a few steps towards a nearby corner and tried to take a closer look. However, it was a little too dark in that area. He didn't know if the shadow upfront was a shadow he cast or if he was staring at a ghost.
The guy leading them took a look at his watch. "Tch, ninety minutes more. Dammit, how many walkie-talkies are we still missing?" He turned to them and counted the people with no walkie-talkie. He then noticed that Li Feng wasn't paying attention to him. A snort came out of him. "What's wrong, pretty boy? Missing your girlfriend?"
"Someone's standing over there." Li Feng only glanced at the leader. However, when he turned back, the shadow was gone. A mental curse echoed in Li Feng's head, just in time for a shock. A shadow silhouette actually jumped at him from below, toppling him with its force. It then pressed against him as if trying to enter his body.
"Shit! Don't come closer!" Li Feng warned the rest as he tried to fight the shadow trying to possess him strangely. However, a voice traveled to his mind as if the ghost was speaking with him: "Please let me in, Big Brother Feng. I'm vanishing."
