Chapter 183 - Animals

That question came rather early than he expected. However, considering that Yun He was not a conniving person, the father figured it was not strange. Liu Xiaodan just sighed, but his lips were still smiling. "I want to be released, Nurse Yun. Just from these… belts everywhere. These things are itchy. I can't even pee properly… and my clothes… I've been wearing them for a while."

"…'pee properly' sounds like you've been going right then and there. You're not even eating anything—" Yun He said so, but he saw a small plate on a random cabinet. He cleared his throat and spoke again, "Xiaodan, if we asked you to sweep the grounds and neutralize a possessed patient, would you do it?"

"It's that kid, isn't it?" Liu Xiaodan frowned a little. "I saw her earlier. She would have been eaten by Abbadon if only Qiao Shan didn't come to her. She didn't look possessed. She's just like me. She knows what she's doing."

"Seems like it, but she's trying to kill all the participants to evolve her King. Just earlier, she ran away from the confrontation between you and Abbadon, but the girl jumped at Qiao Shan when she was escaping the Hall. Her companion already ate Qiao Shan's King, and it would need some time to digest… so it's easy to hunt her now." Yun He curled his hidden hand in a tight curl. The nurse sighed and pulled on his collar. "I'm not thick-skinned enough to fight for my life when I'm already sacrificing a lot of others. It's just pathetic and evil. My mother will hate me if I cross that line. I can't force you to do it and then sleep tonight. Moreover, this position of mine… it's scary. "I'll hunt the child, but you have to answer a question from me first." Liu Xiaodan chuckled to himself as if he was reading too much to Yun He's words. It could just be his strange mind that was too much into books and movies, but he did feel like Yun He was telling him something else. "Nurse Yun, where can I find Mr. Wu?"

"...the only time people openly see him is when he watches tests from the Control Room. It doesn't matter which one takes his attention, but he will never step anywhere near the experiments or participants. The Administrative Hall is also connected to the main lobby from the back entrance… just past the Lodging Hall." Yun He smiled. He knew that audio was cut off even if they were watching this exchange. "You can't go there though."

"You said the same thing about the Treatment Hall before." Liu Xiaodan chuckled again.

"Stay here for now. It might get ugly outside."

Liu Xiaodan continued walking towards the door and closed it behind him, leaving Yun He inside. He then walked along the dark corridor, but he stopped when he noticed that a green dot was flickering near the ceiling. The father only smiled at it, busting it broken. He reached out a hand, and Guangru held onto his hand. Old Doctor, Tang Mingming, and Yi Junhai appeared behind him as if joining him in his walk.

Guangru then laughed out. "Baba, do you think we're allowed to access all floors this time?"

"Hopefully, I need to stretch my legs for a bit anyway." Liu Xiaodan then changed his expression into a serious one. "We should find that girl before Nayi steps inside this place again."

The lights out had come to the shared rooms, and Chuan Nayi had been sleeping for quite a while. However, she slightly moved and felt quite full in the bladder. She carefully got up like her legs were still non-functional. Chuan Nayi sat up and looked around, finding a lot of beds unoccupied now. Just last night, they were all complete.

She prepared her new wheelchair and rolled it towards the toilets. Before she could even push open that cubicle whose hinges were changed to accommodate her, someone came from behind and covered her mouth. Chuan Nayi was shocked, but she didn't scream and only froze as a reflex.

"Shhh… don't make any noise, or else we will gut you. We can easily fake things up in here, and you yourself heard it from the supervisor anyway. There's no way they would care about something like this," the man behind her whispered at her ear before chuckling as if being treated in a feast. "Do you want to know why we're doing this now? I bet you're so curious."

"It's because you're animals." Chuan Nayi barked, but the man behind her pounded on her abdomen. She curled in pain, but the man pulled on her head again. The man then grabbed her and threw her off of the wheelchair. 

She tried to get up from the floor, but someone stepped on her back. Chuan Nayi screamed: "No, even animals will be insulted if I call you one!"

"Silence this bitch—" the same man lowly growled, and two more men worked on wrapping a belt around Chuan Nayi's mouth and securing her hands. They held onto her so she wouldn't be able to run, but a woman like her had learned how to be like fish flailing out of the water. One time was enough for her.

The man who held her from behind grabbed her waist and the waistband of her skirt. Before he could pull it down, Chuan Nayi screamed so hard inside her mind. Bang! One of her legs moved and kicked the man on his face! The men holding her down were shocked a little as they knew that she was crippled waist down.

"Now you've done it!" The man wiped the blood from his broken nose, and it was like her actions had just made him more aggressive. He jumped at Chuan Nayi again, but the girl kept on kicking him. He grabbed both of her ankles and was trying to separate them wide enough so he could get in between. "Hahaha! Start crying to your husband, you bitch—"

A low growl echoed in the entire room and awakened those who were sleeping. Those inside the toilets also heard the noise… and something more. A presence sprang inside the toilets with them. Chuan Nayi then froze as she saw a strange whitish mist forming next to the man in front of her. The man also noticed the mist as a strange warmth blew on the side of his face, but when he turned…

Bang! A big black paw swung and threw him to the wall!
