"I'm breaking the maze here in the Treatment Hall, and you can have the whole facility for yourself." That was Guangru's offer, but the rest of the Kings didn't know why the offer was being given right now. Wasn't he the same ghost that would want to eat them all?
"Hahaha! This is outrageous!" Abaddon laughed out and used a dead body to mock the child in front of him. "Why would I believe you? You're already regaining power. You could just be bluffing me and everyone else into coming inside your mouth."
"Guangru, that doesn't sound right." God Raven crawled on the ceiling where Abaddon wouldn't be able to reach him. "Aren't you supposed to be morally good now? Your human father will never approve of this."
Guangru frowned and looked up to see the black bird. "Good? It's okay. The people here are not morally good. They kill people freely and even toss some into this… garbage can where we—the stray cats and dogs, the leeches, the c.o.c.kroaches—tend to eat off of their scraps. I will break the maze, and all you have to do is eat everyone. You say you wanted a feast, but they don't give you food anymore. Such a sad feast."
The weaker Kings looked at each other, but they had no say for now. Else, Abaddon would eat them then and there. As for the strongest one, he didn't know what would change the stance of this demon all of a sudden. Then again, with his current power, breaking the maze could be attainable. Seeing that everyone just didn't want to bother someone other King and eat lesser beings, Abaddon came to a decision.
"One hour. If you can break it one hour, I will eat everything that would try and kill your father." Abaddon laughed out before rolling inside and tossing a watch on the floor. It was still ticking and showed the time to all of them. "You have one hour, child."
"One hour is long enough." Guangru huffed and walked away using his white light.
The Kings had also rolled back to their own cells… seemingly forced to wait for another hour. Perhaps only God Raven didn't feel comfortable with this plan. It was as if he knew something else that could happen. The black bird then started to move as if looking for the father.
"Xiaodan is logical. He wouldn't want that child to experience what obliterated the spirits of the village before." The bird vanished into the ceiling. "I need to find him in one hour..."

Fan Meiling had no time to waste as she wanted to go back into researching everything that could strengthen her Red Justice. She wouldn't sit there as Wu Zhong claiming every credit especially about a study that he didn't do. However, when she got to her office, she found a man making phew-phew noises while playing with paper airplanes on her desk. He was seated on her chair, facing the wall instead.
The doctor walked inside and stood at the side of the desk, one hand on her hip. Her eyes fell on the man's black hair and a side profile of a skinny man. His cheeks weren't really full, and his cheekbones were a little high. "Yinxie, what are you doing? Are those my project proposals? How dare you fold them up like their paper trash!"
"Oh, are they not?" The man named Sun Yinxie turned the chair around and laughed in ridicule. "But they're trash. Didn't you let Dr. Tang review them at least?"
Fan Meiling's eyes instantly fell down to his unbuttoned trousers for some reason. She then glared at his face. "I don't have time for you today. Move aside. I have other things to do." If it was up to her, she would kick him off of her chair. However, she suddenly noticed something in his hand. The hand holding the paper plane… was a hand he was holding. Did he just bring a severed hand to her office? "How is that not bleeding?"
Sun Yinxie tossed the papers from both hands and showed her the side where it was supposed to be cut off, but that part was completely covered in skin. Fan Meiling tried to snatch it from him, but he pulled it out of her reach. He then pointed at his l.a.p. "Sit."
"What is that?" Fan Meiling brought down the papers she was holding and hooked on her skirt to make it ride up past her b.u.t.t. Seeing her t.h.i.g.hs and maroon u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r made Sun Yinxie whistle, but Fan Meiling didn't care about his reaction. She even heavily sat on his groin and snatched the strange hand from him, and that was all she was interested in. "What is this? It feels so real… the bones, the muscle..."
"Babe, do you know what this is?" Sun Yinxie fished out something else that made Fan Meiling jerk a little. "Shh, the charges aren't live until I press a number. Don't worry, besides, this thing isn't active yet."
Fan Meiling received a detonator from Sun Yinxie and wondered why the man gave it to her. Not caring how his hands crept all over her inner t.h.i.g.hs, Fan Meiling studied the detonator for a few seconds before figuring out the fingerprint activation. Upon using the hand, she managed to unlock it. "...is this Two's hand?"
"Nope. That's Two's hand that… one of Liu Xiaodan's spawned Kings produced." He licked her nape, but her happy twitch was from her own thoughts. Sun Yinxie even sighed against her shoulder as she closed the detonator and tossed it away. "Everyone called me a madman for keeping that disgusting specimen, but they just don't understand the things I do for love..."
"Love? You don't love me." Fan Meiling placed the hand down on her table before abruptly getting up, escaping Sun Yinxie's hold. She pushed away all the files and folders on top of the cabinet behind her table. "But we can pretend." She used her pointer to beckon Sun Yinxie as she sat down. "Not there. I sit there every day."
Sun Yinxie licked his upper lip. "Yes, ma'am."

A snap somewhat woke up Liu Xiaodan, and he realized that he had slept for a while. Whether it was minutes or just a full day, he didn't know if it mattered. It's just that he saw Tang Mingming and Old Doctor lounging around the room. He then received a smile from Tang Mingming: "Xiaodan, that's just a half-hour of sleep. You should sleep longer."
"I shouldn't." Liu Xiaodan got up and immediately missed the bed. Maybe, he could drag one of these to his room? Then, he walked to Li Feng and patted the other guy awake. "Li Feng, wake up—yuck, gross. You're drooling like a waterfall."
"I am?" Li Feng scrunched his face as if ridding himself of sleepiness that way. It's just that there was no drool. However, he still realized that his bad sleeping posture hurt his back. He started stretching and remembered that he hadn't done what he needed to do. "Right, I forgot." He fished for the black horse's foot. "It's this."
Liu Xiaodan frowned and reached out to investigate it, but Heima's voice echoed out: "Baba, you need to stop Guangru now."
