Chapter 280 - I Have a Proposition to Make

Chuan Nayi was actually frantically messaging Hao Chengyi, the secretary who volunteered to help her out if she had troubles or concerns regarding the transfer. Right now, she was asking for his help to uncover the actual roster of the Wu family. When she made the deal with Wu Zhong, she had forgotten about the rights of his family members. Moreover, there was no witness when they spoke about it.

Liu Xiaodan lifted his brows as he heard Tang Mingming from inside actually laughing and saying: "They probably tortured someone! Ahahaha! Let's go play with the person, too! I want to join the fun!"

"...it looks like you like bullying others. Don't do it excessively." Liu Xiaodan spoke out for both Guangru and Tang Mingming to hear, but both 'friends' would probably let the words go in one ear and out the other. However, they didn't want to blatantly let him know. Even Liu Xiaodan himself was sure that they wouldn't stop just because he said so. Let them act like children unless they damaged something.

"Ah, it's here." Chuan Nayi wanted to watch them longer, but the email Hao Chengyi promised came. When she opened it, she was shocked by the contents. She then frowned. Li Feng, Li Yunru, and Qiao Shan were preparing to leave. They were going to see Ruan Jin today since Ren Shanyue would be going to check up on him as well. Besides, the woman had also notified Wen Taio and Xu Disung about the meeting. While the girls were still inside the house, Li Feng was standing outside and waiting for his call to connect. Chuan Nayi hadn't answered his call four times in a row now.

When she did, he didn't really bother with the pleasantries: "Hi, Nayi. Shanyue is visiting Ruan Jin today so I figured we should all go to have a good talk about what happens next. Erm, I'm picking up Wen Taio and Xu Disung at the mall. Are you still in the restaurant?"

"…Dad-in-law said he'll drive us to the hospital. You can just drop us off later, I think." Chuan Nayi seemed to be relatively happy just from the sound of her voice.

"Alright, we'll meet you there then." Li Feng hung up almost after three seconds to make sure Chuan Nayi wasn't going to say something else. He then turned to the door and sighed. "How come Mommy works so fast, and yet those two girls are so slow?"

Soon enough, they had walked out of the door. The annoyed young master suddenly changed his mood as he stared at the sweet appearance of Qiao Shan. She was in a pink sweater and skinny jeans that were all Li Yunru's clothes. The man then opened the door for them. "Ready to go?"

He actually got permission from his mother to drive her Ford Transit Connect so he could ferry over a lot of people. The young man rolled out of the parking space and into the streets to get to the hospital. However, he still had to pick up two males from the mall.

Wen Taio and Xu Disung heard about the gas leak explosion and had not slept that night. Ren Shanyue didn't have information either until that morning after Li Feng called her and told her about the explanation. They didn't know what to expect when they see Ruan Jin… they just hoped he wasn't missing anything.

"Aren't we supposed to go low-profile?" Xu Disung frowned as the dark blue Ford Transit Connect rolled up in front of the mall. Li Feng even got out of the driver seat, looking like a cool celebrity in spectacles. Xu Disung snorted, "Should we pretend not to know him?"
