Chapter 281 - Going to the Fifth Floor

"Are you just going to stay here?" A female voice echoed next to them, and the two turned in the direction of the speaker. What they saw was a beautiful woman with long dark hair, wearing a cream halterneck top under her cream cardigan. Her jeans were also skinny and would ride around the h.i.p.s. There so many shapes showing off, and the boys from other tables couldn't help but get envious.

However, Wen Taio and Xu Disung were more alarmed than attracted. This woman… didn't use to wear clothes this way. Ren Shanyue raised her thin brows at them, and the two men had no choice but to get up and come with her. Even as she walked, she was blowing away the horny.

"Wow, you also sound so good." Upon hearing her voice, Xu Disung chuckled before turning to the navigator's seat where Ren Shanyue sat. He caught the strange gaze Li Feng was giving the two as if warning them from getting ideas on Qiao Shan. "She's the one who got Jin and the others in, right? Did you guys stick together most of the time? Damn, that Jin so lucky, having three beautiful girls to look at."

"...not really, we got divided because of the facility's arrangements." Qiao Shan answered for Li Feng. Facility's arrangements? Well, it was indeed them who threw Ruan Jin to the Rooms Hall, Li Feng to the Treatment Hall, and Chuan Nayi to the Administrative Hall. As for her, losing Hop took her to a secret place at the bottom of the Treatment Hall where she had to receive Hongfei.

Wen Taio let out a loud laugh. "Well, he can't be too lucky!"

Qiao Shan's eyes lowered even if the smile on her face was still there. She heard what Song Qixi did to Ruan Jin, and they were lucky that they had insiders in the lab. Else, no one would be able to help Wang Yusheng created that miracle serum to reverse the effects. Lucky? Ruan Jin was in hell.

The group arrived at the hospital, and they went straight to Ruan Jin's room. The young man was already sitting up on his bed, the top-half at an angle that helped him. Yu Mona was there to keep him company until the friends arrived. Wen Taio and Xu Disung were the first ones to enter, and Yu Mona actually recognized them.

"Auntie Mona!" They politely called out and bowed to her. Soon, they actually jumped onto the bed to disturb Ruan Jin. Of course, they ended up almost wrestling even if Ruan Jin could barely move and could only roar at them. Yu Mona wasn't too worried; his friends would never hurt him truly.

"Mrs. Ruan," Ren Shanyue entered after them. She was followed by Li Feng and the rest. "Let's sit here. Jin must have missed his friends even if it was just a short while." Short while as it was, but that was the longest three days of Ruan Jin's life.

Qiao Shan was only sitting at the side while everyone was speaking with everyone else. How good was it to have friends and family that were this lively? Even if they had all come here for a meeting, it didn't erase the fact that everyone here knew and had spoken with Ruan Jin before. 

She just lowered her eyes to find an excuse to leave the room, but she gasped when she found Ye Ling squatting in front of her. The weeper was actually looking up at her, the ghost's eyes shining as if she was holding back a bit of anger. How could Ye Ling forget that this Qiao Shan had chased her all over the Treatment Hall? Then, a smile curved her lips before she got to her feet.

"Aiyah, Miss Ling, you're here again." Yu Mona was shocked that the girlfriend had surfaced out of nowhere. Nonetheless, she waved her hand as if beckoning the other. "Please come with me for a second."

"Ah, they're here now so we could inquire about that medicine." Ye Ling remembered what Yu Mona wanted to do earlier. Ruan Jin only waved at them as if bidding them take care. How good was it that Ye Ling could now more or less appear like a normal girl to Yu Mona?

The mother had left, and Ren Shanyue gently closed the door behind them. She then wore a rather serious face. "Can someone tell me what exactly happened in that place?"

Footsteps echoed on the floor as Chuan Nayi and Liu Xiaodan walked along the hospital lobby. It was a different hospital than where Liu Xiaodan was last confined so he could freely show off his face here. They then got to the elevator and rode it to Ruan Jin's floor. However, Liu Xiaodan actually pulled Chuan Nayi to the other side. When Chuan Nayi looked over, another person was standing inside with them.

Liu Xiaodan also turned to the woman facing the wall. "What floor are you trying to get to? It would be a pain if you can't get off, right?"

"...five."

"Great, we're also getting off at the fifth floor." Liu Xiaodan pressed the fifth floor as it was indeed where they were going. At this reply, the woman started to turn around and stare back at Liu Xiaodan. Chuan Nayi had long looked away, but the father was quite amicable to the ghost.

The woman began to step closer as if trying to instill fear in the eyes of the friendly person. It's just that even if she was already at Liu Xiaodan's easy reach, the man's gaze didn't change. She was about to open her mouth, but Liu Xiaodan smiled coldly. "Please don't do that."
