Chapter 326 - Not a Good Night to Die

As for the demon child, he was still watching over Mian Lunsen. He was sealing the shadow woman who started to borrow power from the moon. It was posing no major problem, but it was making the ritual impossible to conclude. It was now a battle of endurance between the two parties. Guangru could help, but he might end up killing the shadow woman.

His eyes were pretty much impassive. He just ate everything else in the building and imprisoned the King that they found. Right now, he was silently sitting next to Mian Lunsen, listening to the sutra that was designed for the seal. Actually, he had no idea why he wanted to listen to the same sutra that sealed him.

He then looked down at the black horse and his small palm. He's so capable in this form. The dead forest spirit said that he would lose his power if he became a real child. Then again, it had become his lifelong dream to be born as a human. Should he shelve it just because his Baba needed him as a demon more than a child?

'It's so strange. I'm doubting myself again...' Guangru only looked up at the resisting shadow woman in front of them. 'Baba, will you tell me to stop wishing for everyone's safety? Why am I getting scared to hear just that?'

"...Guangru, what's happening? It's getting stronger..."

Mian Lunsen's voice took people out of sleep and trance. Hao Chengyi, who was resting against the wall, twitched and pushed his glasses up as helping his eyes focus. Three more team members were there, watching the surroundings in case some kind of criminal come to steal and harm Mian Lunsen.

The child then started to feel it… the nourishment of the dark. "It's midnight..."

He wasn't even done with his words yet when the shadow woman managed to gain a boost and broke away from the seal. The blast of her escape threw away the shaman, breaking all talisman and arrays he had put in place. Guangru dashed out to chase the escaping woman, but she only stopped in her spot as if held down by something more powerful. When Guangru walked into the scene, he also detected something else…

"Gugh..." Something grotesque was standing just outside the building. The two other entities knew for sure that that thing… was like them. Guangru began to wonder why demons had begun showing up.

The shadow woman didn't spend another moment in freeze. She immediately flew towards the newcomer that was way powerful than her. Guangru realized that the shadow woman was looking for a way out of her seal. Whether she died in her struggle or not wasn't Guangru's business, but if he let these other demon eat the shadow woman, wouldn't he be losing out on whatever the other guy had gained?

Since the shadow woman was going to die anyway, why didn't Guangru just eat her and the other guy just the same? Besides, Liu Xiaodan already had one demon. Losing these two wouldn't be much of a problem.

"So you've made a decision..." Guangru suddenly flew out and attacked the two others.

However, out of nowhere, balls with flaming wicks were thrown in the child's direction. When they exploded, the powder inside them smelled and felt like the one Mian Lunsen was using. Guangru had to retreat at it could impede his movements in the long run. It's just that someone started to chant a rather familiar sutra to the demon child. Guangru immediately shuddered. It was that Mind-Boxing Seal again!

Mian Lunsen choked out dust before rising from the ground. Everyone else was relatively safe, but Mian Lunsen knew they shouldn't just wait for Guangru to return. He suddenly felt like danger was upon them… as well as that newcomer demon. They actually just poked their head out when he heard the Mind-Boxing Seal being chanted. He actually clicked his tongue before taking out a satellite phone.

When the person on the other line picked up, Mian Lunsen almost hissed. "Check point 46. The Qiao family must have released an unbound demon to bait the child. I'm doing what I can. Send someone over.

"Meng-meng, this is going to be bad." Mian Lunsen glanced at his boyfriend. "Find a place to hide. Hey, Pluto, take your gun and protect Chengyi at all costs. Shit, I will roast you on a spit if something happens to him. You two, with me."

"Meng-meng, be careful." Hao Chengyi could only fight a verbal and political battle; things like these were beyond him. That was why he decided not to get in the way. Besides, Mian Lunsen was so capable. It shouldn't be something too helpless for him and his team.

After sending the boyfriend away, the smile on Mian Lunsen's lips disappeared. 'Probably not a good night to die...'

He loaded his gun and carefully circled the place to find the caster. He couldn't help Guangru that much; he could only kill the one casting the spell to keep it from getting to the child's ears.

However, he didn't realize that hearing the chant only made Guangru extremely furious. The wooden vines surged that it quickly wrapped around the two other demons. The child couldn't find the source of the chant so he just wrecked the entire area. Even if this place was supposed to be the location of his mother's company, he was blinded by his rage.

Everything within 100 meters around him was turned to dust—including the building and everything inside!

"Holy shit! That's what an ancient demon is!" Mian Lunsen was shocked. He couldn't figure out the real strength of the child, but his current displays showed a degree of irritability that the child seemed to be nursing for a while. He wondered what offended such a creature. However, his amazement didn't save them from the blast; they were all still in the zone.

The chanter and the one watching over the supposed onslaught couldn't believe what they were seeing. Entities were all born without body or form. Even if they could materialize to deal damage to humans or other entities, it shouldn't be this strong! Guangru was only an ancient demon; how could he break things like this?!

"How… dare you?!" The low howl came from the child's mouth even if it sounded like it was coming from the earth itself. Guangru was so furious as he was reminded of what he had done after suffering from a Mind-Boxing Seal. If Li Feng didn't fix it, he would have become a log forever; after Li Feng fixed it, Guangru even ended up killing his father. Without Mian Qingwei by then, what was he supposed to do after that?

The surroundings trembled and shook like an earthquake was hitting the area. Even the neighboring buildings and places were receiving the shocks coming from the area. Guangru didn't care about the consequences of his actions; he just wanted to kill whoever was trying to test his patience again.

"Guangru, what's wrong?"
