Chapter 642 - 229: What Do You Think Of It?

"Senior Ken, you mean how to create a color scheme is a gift?" asked Catherine.

"What do you think of it?" said Ken.

Since there were only two people in the classroom, when Ken and Catherine talked about the design, their voices seemed to be louder.

Catherine looked depressed and said, "I am not good at creating a color scheme. In general, the color scheme I created is different from what I expected."

"You should learn more," added Ken.

"Yes. You are right. I have to admit that I am ignorant about the color palate. But I could do better in designing clothing if senior Ken is willing to help me."

"You will fail," said Ken.

Catherine thought to herself, "Why not give me some hope?"

Ken was fl.i.c.k.i.n.g through the graphic design. At first glance, Ken thought the paintings were too rough without beautiful lines and colors. But when he looked carefully, he found the uneven lines and colors were a perfect match.

Ken thought to himself, "I thought she is ignorant about designing, and the only thing she can do is drawing lines, but the truth is that I underestimated her. Although she is not a genius, she truly is a diamond in the rough."

As soon as Catherine had gotten Ken's telephone number from his roommate, Dale, she regarded Ken as a friend on Facebook.

"So, how can I chase you, senior Ken? I saw your draft design before. You are so creative. If I can see the real clothing, I can't imagine how amazing it is!"

Ken made a fake smile as if he were mocking Catherine.

Catherine smiled and said, "senior Ken, please give me more comments, and I will revise it."

"Calm down. You can't make great progress very quickly. You are not smart."

"Senior Ken, why do you keep mocking me?"

"It is the truth. I won't repeat it if you don't like it."

"I am okay with it. Strict and high-level requirements can help me be a good designer. A strict teacher can make students better. You can say whatever you want."

"I don't have such a stupid student."

"It is just a metaphor. But if you want to be my teacher, I would like to be your student too," said Catherine.

Ken ignored her and said, "That's it. I gotta go."

"Okay. Take care. See you later, senior Ken."

Catherine pursed her lips with joy.

She thought to herself, "Everything goes very well. Probably, he can work for me sooner or later. I should be patient; otherwise, he is definitely going to get suspicious."

As soon as Ken stood up, someone pushed the door of the classroom.

Ken saw the man and said, "You are here."

It was Elliot, and a few people followed him. All of them stared at Ken and Catherine with surprise as if they found something.

Catherine frowned and thought to herself, "I choose an empty classroom because I don't want others to know I am with Ken alone. Ken is famous at Kings College, so I don't want to have any gossip about him. It would be better for us. However, Elliot is coming with a group of people. How terrible is it!"

Ken packed up and went away directly as if nothing happened.

"Wait!"

Elliot kicked the door closed.

"What's the matter?" asked Ken.

"Is she your girlfriend?"

Ken frowned and asked coldly, "I don't know what you are talking about?"

"Obviously, you are a couple. Why not admit it?"

"Obviously? Do you think so?"

Elliot became furious, "Yes or no?"

Elliot didn't want to guess. He only wanted Ken to tell him the answer.

"Are you crazy, Elliot?" asked Catherine.

"Yes, I am crazy now."

Catherine was speechless. She just packed up and walked out.

"Stop!"

"Senior Ken, you can go first. You don't have to argue with him," said Catherine.

Elliot knew little about Ken. They just played basketball before.

Ken frowned, pushed the door open, and walked away.

After glancing at people standing outside and waiting for gossip, Catherine immediately walked out of the classroom and teaching building.

Elliot shadowed Catherine all the time.

Catherine dodged the crowd and walked on a secluded path.

Since Catherine stopped suddenly, Elliot almost ran into her.

"Elliot, what's wrong with you? Tell me directly."

Elliot thought to himself, "He told me you are here. That is to say, he comes to Catherine? Who did tell him?"

"I have a question. Listen. Ken is your boyfriend?" asked Elliot.

"No," said Catherine.

Elliot felt good when he heard the answer.

"Why not tell me?" asked Elliot.

"I don't have to talk about it with you."

"I want to know."

Catherine mocked, "Who do you think you are?"

Elliot wanted to know everything about Catherine.

Elliot thought he was crazy about Catherine. No matter what Catherine did, he still loved her.

"You watched the basketball game because of Ken?"

"Right. Ken is a senior. Of course, I cheer for him."

"So, why did you stay in the classroom with him? People paid attention to you, and they will know it."

Elliot thought to himself, "Ever since Catherine became the most beautiful girl on campus, people paid much attention to her. Gossip came out whenever Catherine did something wrong. She should be careful."

"Senior Ken, I want to ask you whether it is illegal?"

"You shouldn't stay together alone. People will have different opinions about it."

"I don't even care what anybody thinks. But Elliot, why do you come here with a group of people. Do you want to fight with us? You make the rumors now."

Elliot said in a low voice, "Sorry, I am too impulsive."

"Elliot, I don't know what is in your mind. But I want to tell you that Ken is my senior. That's it. Understood?"

Catherine knew Elliot loved her, but she didn't say it directly and tried to make a clear line between her and Elliot.

"He is not only a senior but also a friend of mine," said Catherine.

Catherine thought to herself, "We are more than friends."

At last, when Catherine wanted to go away, Elliot didn't say anything more.

However, when Elliot wanted to send Catherine to the dormitory, she refused.
