Chapter 651 - 238: How Brazen Is He To Covet On Catherine In Front Of Him

After posing the question, Sean fixed the look at Elliot standing next to Ethel. He recognized Elliot's face from last Friday when he came to collect Catherine, as he was grabbing Catherine's hands, offering her a ride home.

Sean read the file about Elliot. He came from a wealthy family. But Sean saw him as a spoiled kid who indulged in excessive p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e-seeking.

Elliot became restless due to the stare. He couldn't help straightening up.

"How about you? The gentleman in the white shirt. Come on."Sean said.

Elliot couldn't be more confused. He thought, as a visitor in the class, he would be the last to be named.

"Sir, I'm not from this class."

"Really?"

"My name is Elliot. I'm a computer major."

"Are you here for my class?" Sean said with a poker face.

"Yes."

Actually, Elliot came for Catherine. But he couldn't say that in public. So he lied.

"Okay. What did I talk about?" asked Sean.

Elliot couldn't answer since he wasn't paying any attention. He was good at computer programming, but math was never his forte. The calculus book he had with him was only for show. Sean's look couldn't get worse since Elliot couldn't give him a satisfying answer.

Catherine kept her head down and put the pieces together. She drew the conclusion that Sean held a grudge against Elliot for what happened last Friday. She felt sorry for Elliot. Anyone who went against Sean would end up miserably, Marco, for example.

"Elliot?"

Sean stared at Elliot as he said his name aggressively.

"Sir, I didn't quite follow." Elliot didn't want to admit math was his weakness, especially in front of Catherine.

"Which part didn't you follow?"

Anna was worried and tried to help Elliot. She wrote down the solution to the problem but couldn't find an opportunity to pass it to him.

"Come up here," Sean said.

Elliot didn't answer for seconds later, "Sir, this is the first time I sit in. I missed a lot of things."He tried to make Sean cut him slack. Unfortunately, Elliot had no idea he already offended Sean. Little did he know what Sean was willing to do to pay back.

"It's a simple question. If you have paid attention to what I've said, you have no problem solving it. And it has little to do with what you've learned before."

Elliot's look changed.

"I've told you that paying 100% attention is a must in my class. If you can't do that, the door is over there."Sean restressed as he thumped on the board.

"Sir, I have been listening. But-"

"Elliot," Ethel cut him off, "Get up there. There's no point explaining." Elliot couldn't win the argument with Sean. After all, Sean started a fight with four military instructors and crushed them.

"Sir, I know how to do this. I can help Elliot."A girl stood up with sparkling looks, taking advantage of the moment.

Sean said, "Did I ask you to help Elliot?"

The girl sat down.

Iris rolled her eyes. She was used to Sean was picked on by girls. But that girl was less than 10% beautiful as Catherine was. That should not be taken as a compliment on Catherine, Iris thought since she only stated the fact.

Elliot was so confused at the string of numbers and signs. But to keep up appearances, he put on the look of hard thinking. But he couldn't think of anything, so he said, "Sir, I don't know."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Why are you here if you're not interested in math? I take it you enjoy my calculus lectures."

"It's right. But math symbols are so confusing."

Elliot wouldn't admit he was bad at math, nor he came for Catherine. He lied to remain dignified.

"I've told you don't come here if you're not for the class."

"But I'm here for the class."

Sean read his mind immediately. How brazen is he to covet on Catherine in front of him! Sean tried to keep hold of his anger in public as the idea tortured him.

"Leave my class."

Elliot couldn't stand Sean's despise and said, "Sir, maybe I'm not as good as math like you. But I'm good at many other things."

"What are you trying to say?"

"I'm an excellent basketball player." Elliot said with a provocative look, "Sir, will you do me the honor of competing in a basketball match with me?"

Sean smiled.

"Sir, why are you smiling?"

"Are you sure?"

Catherine couldn't help trembling because there were so many things hidden in the smile. Elliot couldn't be his match.

"Of course."

Elliot assumed Sean couldn't play basketball at all, and he didn't exercise.

"Okay. Let's do this."

"I'll see you at the court at five."

Catherine didn't know what to say. But Elliot must be a fool to challenge Sean, an enemy he knew so little about. He would be humiliated so much that he wished there was a hole on the ground to get in.

Sean was a formidable man, which Elliot missed to see.

On the other hand, Catherine never saw Sean on the court. Elliot got back to where he stood. He leaned against the wall with a provocative look. Catherine murmured, "What a moron" in her mind. Elliot had no idea what a man he messed with. At the moment, he was pleased that Sean accepted the challenge. But Catherine was certain his confidence at the court would be crushed.

Losing to Ken was shameful, imagine losing to Sean.

Everyone walked on thin ice during the class. They were so relieved to hear the bell ringing, and a heated discussion on watching the game started.

"Elliot likes Catherine, right?"Iris said.

"I think so," Pearl said.

"What a horrible taste in woman."

"Ken is a bit close to Catherine. They saw them in the classroom alone."

Iris said, "What did she want! How could she seduce men so freely? What a s.l.u.t!"

"We shouldn't draw any premature conclusions."

"Bitch."

"Let's go."

Iris and Pearl didn't do anything during the class. They couldn't because they were in front of Sean. So this was simply an observing class.
