Chapter 674 - 261: A Thousand Yes

"Of course I will marry you! A thousand, yes!" Catherine shouted.

They couldn't help but hug each other and kiss.

After the long and affectionate kiss, Catherine looked up at Sean, saying, "I don't think I've ever said this to you, Sean, but I want you to know I love you." It wasn't easy for her to say the "L" word since she was shy about acknowledging love. But she decided to share how she actually felt with Sean.

Sean looked at her. Her eyes were as crystal and clear as the bright stars. He couldn't help getting excited and kissed the ring she wore.

Sean and Catherine seldom said "I love you" to each other. But they knew their love was real and deep. They couldn't bear to leave each other.

Catherine had the best night's sleep on the ranch. The next morning, Sean drove her back to the mansion. When Sean opened the door, she heard "congratulations!" from inside the room. Catherine opened the light, and it was a party!

Everyone that Catherine cared about came, including Aunt Maria, Samuel, and her friends, Sophia, Clara, and so on. She was so shocked that she covered her mouth. Turning around at Sean, he wore the same calm face. She instantly guessed what was going on, "Sean, did you plan this party?"

"Do you like it?" asked Sean.

"I love it."

Clara and Sophia came over to talk with Catherine about the wedding plan.

"Clara, Sophia, I want you both to be my bridesmaids," Catherine said.

"Sure. Catherine, let us worry about wedding arrangements and decorations. You just wait and see. It's gonna be a huge surprise!"

The next three days before the ceremony, Clara and Sophia came over with a bunch of colorful balloons. Then they started tying pink ribbons on handrails. On the ceiling in the living room were beautiful ribbons.

Sarah also called on others to help. She said, "Mrs. Blair, let me help with decorations. I think you'll love what we're gonna do."

Catherine said, "Sarah, go ahead."

Sophia said, "Catherine, I think we need more flowers for the living room. I have an idea of an arch of flowers that are put at the entrance of the door. When you and Sean come back, we'll throw rose petals."

"Yeah, what a lovely thought!" said Clara.

Sean nodded, "Great. Girls, make a list of whatever you need. I've got you."

Catherine couldn't believe what she saw when she came to the bedroom.

"We're not completely finished. But based on what you saw, do you like it, Catherine?" asked Sophia.

"Oh My God, it's gorgeous!"

Everything was in Catherine's favorite color, pink. In the center of the bed was a big heart made of chocolate. On the ceiling were floating so many balloons. A crystal curtain was placed near the door. One could vaguely see what was behind it.

There were many other little changes. Catherine almost couldn't recognize her bedroom.

Catherine hugged Clara, "Thank you. I know you must go through a lot of trouble with this. I love it."

Sophia laughed out, "It's a good thing you like it. We're not sure whether Sean would."

"His opinion doesn't matter, "Vivian said, "he'll know that happy wife, happy life."

"It's okay. I think Sean will like this too." Catherine said.

Sophia added, "Catherine, take a look, is there anything else you want? We'll set it up when there's still time."

"It's okay. I think it's great."

"Some flowers will make the room perfect!"

"Catherine, you and Sean look great in the wedding photo!" Clara said.

"Yeah. They were a perfect match." Iris said.

"Thanks."

"Catherine, will Sean pick you up from Maria's house?"

"I have to discuss it with Sean."

Sophia held her hands, "Okay. Just let me know. If you decide to leave Aunt Maria's house, I have to tell her."

Sarah asked the kitchen to prepare a great dinner. Afterward, they all left.

Catherine took Sean to see the newly decorated bedroom.

"Do you like it?" asked Catherine.

"How about you?"

"Yes."

"Then me too." Catherine knew Sean would say so. He has always put what she needed and liked over whatever he liked or needed.

"It suddenly occurred to me that some hot-tempered guy ruined the wedding bedroom." Catherine looked at the bedroom and couldn't think back at the terrible night. They couldn't see eye-to-eye with each other, and what was worse, they were stuck in a predicament and couldn't get out.

Sean thought of that day. He pinched her cheek and said, "Who's that ungrateful bride? You upset me when you insisted we sleep in separate rooms."

"Don't you just want to rip me apart?"

"If you say so." Sean's mind was clouded by the anger knowing she eloped with Marco. How he wished she could stay with him.

"Thankfully, you didn't."

"You naughty girl."

"Hey, how do you feel about picking me up and get married from Maria's place?"

Sean frowned, "Back to your old place?"

"Yeah. It's the custom, isn't it? I want to make this right."

"Okay."

"It's settled. I'll come back the day after tomorrow. Then you'll pick me up. We'll head to the wedding avenue."

Finally, it was the day of the wedding that everyone was looking for. The sun came out after several days of snow. It was warm and sunny. Everyone was joyful.

The first group the greeted Catherine on a special day was a seven-crew of makeup artists. They were sent by Sean and specialized in bride makeup.

Clara and Sophia came early to help Catherine with the wedding dress.

"Catherine, you look stunning!"

Catherine wore the white dress that brought up her curvy figure. The dress had a long hem that was dragged on the floor like a pure lotus. Her back was slim yet fit.

"It's Ken's design. I trust him." Catherine said.

Clara saw Ken's draft earlier. Now seeing it on Catherine made her feel how incredibly beautiful the bride was.

"Catherine, if I were Sean, I would keep you from being seen," Clara said.

"Clara!" Catherine said as she turned blushed.

"I mean it," Clara said.

Knock, knock, knock. There came a gentle knocking sound. Sean was here.
