Chapter 675 - 262: Finale: I Will Always Be There For You

"Catherine, I've come to take you."

Sophia held the door, saying, "Okay. But first, you have to sing us a song. How about Just the Two of Us?"

Sean couldn't get more awkward since he was tone-deaf.

"Forget it. Don't make it hard for Sean. His singing is terrible."

"Okay. For the sake of Catherine, we'll let you in." Clara said.

The door was open. Sean came in. The bride on the dreamy pink sheet caught all his attention. Surrounded by pink ornaments, she was like a blossoming hibiscus.

"Catherine?"

"Sean."

"I've come to marry you."

"Okay," Catherine answered as she lowered her head.

Although Sean was nervous, he didn't look like it. He cleared his throat and said, "I'll pick you up."

"Wait, "Clara came to present Sean with the second challenge, "Sean, you're not gonna tell the bride how much you love her? She has to know."

"That's right." Sophia agreed.

Catherine said, "Hey, isn't it a bit embarrassing? I mean, we've been married for a long time. Making a love confession seems corny."

"Not really. We all know Sean is so good to you. But we're curious to know how." Sophia said.

Sean smiled and went down on one knee, like the day he asked her to marry him. He held her hands and looked into her eyes. He said, "Catherine, on the day I first met you 16 years ago, you were rooted in my heart. I've been thinking about you for years. It takes me so long to find me. I don't want to miss you. I want you to be there every day for the rest of my life."

Sean held her soft hands and kissed them gently. Her voice was like intoxicating wine that Catherine was getting drunk listening to.

He continued, "I want you in the day and hug you at night. In the morning, when you wake up in my hug, I imagine it will be the most common and happiest. In the future, we will have our own children. We will grow old together. I'll always be there for you."

Instead of saying stuff like "I like you" or "I love you," Sean painted her the warmest picture of their life. Everything he said poured into her heart. Marriage is general yet blissful because they love each other and are devoted to spending the rest of their lives with each other.

"Catherine, I come to take you home. My hug is always open to you. Marry me."

The guests in the room got touched and started clapping for their love.

Catherine held back the urge to cry, smiled, and nodded, "Okay. I will marry you."

Sean picked her up and said, "Just what I've been waiting for." He didn't let her down all the way until they were in the car.

Catherine was holding the bouquet. Sean was worried that she might get an allergy, so he put it aside. When at the ceremony, he would hand it back to her.

"Are we going to the avenue?" asked Catherine.

"Yes."

"I'm so excited. And that's quite a fleet you have." When they left the house, Catherine took one look, and the cars were all Porsche or Ferrari. It was like showing off how wealthy they were.

"It's okay. I want you to be the happiest bride on the day."

"So you take the fleet of luxurious cars, so every citizen will know you're getting married?"

"Why not?" Sean held Catherine's hands, "Catherine, you are gorgeous."

"You look handsome too."

Sean bent over to kiss her. It took them about half an hour to get to the avenue. The fleet certainly caught lots of attention, especially the car in the front.

"Sir, we're here," Geoffrey said as she opened the door.

Sean got out and bent over to pick Catherine up.

"Watch out. My dress is very long and heavy."

Sean picked Catherine up as the hem was dragged on the floor like a flower.

"Am I heavy?"

"Don't worry. It's a piece of cake to carry you."

Sean didn't put Catherine down until they stopped in front of the red carpet. He wanted to hold her hands to finish the walk.

Catherine sorted her dress and made sure the tiara was still on her head. She handed her hand to Sean as he looked over attentively.

"Don't worry. You're still gorgeous."

"Okay."

The tradition is that the father gives the daughter away to the bridegroom. But since Catherine's father passed away, Sean decided to walk down the aisle with her.

As the band started playing, they started taking steps. Every guest stood up to watch Sean and Catherine.

The second they started walking, rose petals was scattered from above their heads. They were walking in the rain of petals.

"The bride is so pretty!"

"So is the bridegroom."

"They are such a match."

Guests were whispering and impressed with Sean and Catherine.

Catherine began to feel a bit nervous. Everyone's watch made her feel uneasy.

"It's okay." Sean hurried to comfort her as he held her hand tightly.

"I'm not scared." Catherine felt stressed due to the grand ceremony.

"I'm here."

Catherine smiled. It was from the bottom of her heart. Getting married to the one they love is everyone's dream.

Finally, they stopped in front of the priest.

"Mr. Blair, do you prepare a vow?"

"Yes," Sean held Catherine's hands, "I'm grateful to meet you. I'm thrilled and excited to marry you. Most of all, I know my lovely bride loves me deeply too. I promise I'll make you the happiest woman from now on. Trust me. I will prove it with the rest of my life."

Catherine got watery and said, "I'm lucky to marry the best man I've ever known. More importantly, I get to marry my best friend. I'll never let your hands go for the rest of my life. I love you, Sean."

A drop of tear fell down Sean's cheek. He cried for Catherine.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride!"

Sean bent over to kiss the woman of his life.

How lucky was Sean that his love and efforts were reciprocal! Luckily, Catherine loved him back and saved him from sinking in the darkness.

They met because of their destiny, and they would live a happy life ever after.

-The End-

Author's Farewell Words:

Here we are, coming to an end. After a couple of months of writing this story, though, it may be short, and I tried to change my writing style on the middle part to experience how it would be and what would be the reaction of the readers on it. I guess I still give justice to the characters inside this novel. So many things in life to consider when taking our path in a good journey of love, but fate always played along the way, and it was a wonderful journey for this couple. Sean and Catherine are a great example that every one of us has a destined forever love.

I am so grateful you guys still continue giving this novel your utmost love and support. From the bottom of my heart, a million thanks! Another short reincarnation stand-alone novel will follow. It starts at chapter 676 onwards, and if you haven't seen any update coming in, kindly remove this novel from your library and re-add it again, those premium chapters you've unlocked earlier will remain accessible.
