Chapter 718 - 43: Just Say It

"We met before."

Angelo knew what Stella was thinking about and hurried to explain.

She thought Doris was going to marry Zoey. Thinking of Zoey's bad temper, she thought she'd better get away from Doris.

Doris was frustrated when she heard Angelo's words. She didn't expect that she was like a stranger to "him."

Looking at the energetic Angelo, Doris knew that she fell in love with "him," and she believed that she would be with him.

"You have been back for a while. Why didn't you come to me, Angelo?"

Stella pushed Doris aside. Her instinct made her hostile to Doris.

She was beautifully dressed.

But Angelo didn't like her anyway. She pushed Stella away and said, "It's none of your business."

The more Angelo ignored Stella, and the more Stella wanted to conquer "him." There was Doris, the potential threat. She just wanted to hold Angelo tight in her hand. She can't let another woman steal Angelo away from her.

"I'm your fiancée, Angelo. It would be best if you remembered that," Stella claimed and wanted to sit on Angelo's legs. Doris stood in front of Stella and looked at her with disdain and a provocative smile in the corner of her lips.

"Soon not."

Hearing this, Stella instinctively raised her hand to slap Doris, but Angelo held it tightly in hers.

"How can you help a stranger, Angelo?!"

Stella got angrier and tried to free her hand from Angelo. But Angelo just pushed her aside.

Looking at Stella like this, Angelo wondered if it was a fault to start her plan from Stella.

The more she thought about it, the more upset she became. So, she didn't notice Doris's words and went straight out.

Then she came across another group of students who often bullied her before. And they came to her as soon as they saw her.

Angelo made a defensive posture while the leader looked at her obsequiously.

"Do you have time for a meal, Mr. Angelo?"

Angelo froze for a moment and then nodded. She wanted to see what the crowd could pull off.

When they arrived at the restaurant, Angelo found that they indeed invited her to a meal.

When they finished eating, the leader looked at her with a complex look.

"Just say it."

Angelo wiped her mouth.

The leader thought for a while before speaking.

"We have watched the video and regretted what we had done before. Please forgive us. Just take this meal as our apology, all right?"

Angelo then realized what was going on. They must be scared after watching the video.

Their family was not as powerful as the Thorne family. They came to ask for her forgiveness this time.

"All right."

Angelo nodded and then walked out. Thinking of how the crowd apologized to her, she felt that she should continue to practice karate.

She was the French assistant, and her French was good, so she didn't need to take some of the classes and had more free time.

She checked her class schedule and found that she was available, then she went to the karate gym by taxi.

As soon as she got out of the taxi, she saw Drake's car parking in front of the gym gate. She was a little worried but still entered after thinking about her intention here.

Wade, the head of the gym, came to her as soon as he saw her.

"I'm so glad to see, Angelo. Drake was inside. Shall I take you to him?"

"No, no," Angelo said, waving her hands and cautiously looking around. She didn't want Drake to know her coming here.

After what happened last time, the relationship between her and Drake grew colder.

"I want to learn karate."

After making sure Drake was not around, she whispered to Wade.

"Shall I ask Raily to teach you?"

"Raily?"

Angelo was surprised. As she remembered, Drake had fired Raily.

Wade knew Angelo's puzzle and nodded slightly.

"He didn't get fired."

It turned out that Drake calmed down after Angelo left. He knew it had nothing to do with Raily and told Wade to keep him.

"What is Drake doing here?"

Angelo asked tentatively, though she had an answer in her heart.

"He practices karate with Raily for an hour every afternoon."

It was just like what she thought. Angelo clenched her mouth and looked unconsciously into the training room, only to see the door was pushed open.

At once, she hid away, and Drake walked out.

As usual, he dressed in a proper suit, kept his face straight, and his eyes seemed cold.

Wearing a suit in the gym, he did care about his appearance, Angelo mumbled and turned her face away, although she had to admit that Drake looked handsome.

Angelo didn't come out until she heard the car leaving. Wade wanted to say something but stopped. Looking at him, Angelo felt a little embarrassed.

She coughed to ease herself and looked at the gate before saying her request, "I want to train two hours here every afternoon. But I must stagger the time with Drake."

This request was weird, but Wade nodded. After all, Angelo was a Thorne.

"Do you want Raily to teach you, Mr. Angelo?"

"Yeah. But you can't tell Drake."

Raily used to teach Angelo and was the best one for her.

"How about scheduling your training in these two hours, Mr. Angelo?" Wade asked, handed Angelo a schedule, and pointed to one of the time slots.

Angelo looked at the time. It was half an hour after Drake left. She checked her class schedule and then nodded to Wade.

Then every day at this time, Angelo came to learn karate. Of course, she kept it a secret from Drake.

She could see Drake on the way every day, and she did admire his persistence. As the boss of a big group, his time was rare, but he just did this every day.

By the end of the month, Angelo had mastered the art of karate, and her quick moves could occasionally catch Raily off guard.

One day, Angelo returned from karate training. Just as she opened the door, she found Daisy sitting on her bed in a dress.
