Chapter 719 - 44: Daisy’s Pleading

"You have to help me, Angelo. I badly needed your help," She pleaded, and at the sight of Angelo, Daisy's eyes lit up.

But when Angelo saw the dress in Daisy's hand, she frowned.

"What's the matter?" She asked tentatively, looking at the dress. She wondered if Daisy had known she was a girl and hid it from her not to destroy their friendship.

Daisy didn't answer her but stood up and put the dress in front of Angelo. Then her eyes lit up.

"It's perfect for you! I knew it!"

Hearing that, Angelo took a few steps back. She was confused, didn't understand why Daisy did that.

"Angelo, you know I took part in a costume contest, do you?"

Daisy put down the dress and sat on the bed. She looked up and down at Angelo and felt very satisfied. Earlier, she thought that her creation would fit Angelo because she's more feminine and girly than a fine young guy.

Under the gaze of Daisy, Angelo got goosebumps. But now she was sure that Daisy hadn't known her identity, so she was relieved.

Angelo knew the costume contest, which was a TV show. The designers should show their best design works on the live audition. Whoever got the most votes would be the winner and could become a trainee designer of Dior. She understands that her best friend has eagerly shown her incredible potential in designing.

Actually, with Daisy's powerful family, she didn't need to attend this contest, but because of her passion, she had to take part in this contest by hiding her real identity.

Angelo asked Daisy about it. Daisy said she wanted to make a name by herself.

"Yeah,"

Angelo nodded, picked up the dress, and looked carefully. Then there was admiration in her eyes.

She had worn or seen many kinds of dresses in her previous life, but none of them was as attractive as this one.

"Well, it's great, is it?" Daisy asked.

Looking at Angelo, Daisy rubbed her hands and asked in excitement. Angelo nodded.

"Yeah. But what a pity!" She added.

Daisy gave a long sigh, which made Angelo curious, "Pity?"

"I don't have a good model for it."

Hearing that, Angelo looked at the dress again.

The dress applied upscale cloth and looked neutral and enchanting, which had a high request of the model.

"There is a model group in our school. Someone might be appropriate."

Angelo didn't want Daisy to be sad and tried to give her some advice.

"I've found a good one, but not from the model group. I'm afraid he won't agree to do this."

Daisy took a look at Angelo, who had not realized the meaning of her words.

"Who? I can talk to her for you." She volunteered immediately to help her.

Angelo was popular among girls these days, so she thought she might help Daisy.

Daisy smiled and pushed Angelo in front of the mirror.

"Look, this is my model! Can you be my model?"

Angelo stayed for a moment and then shook her head in denial. She was a girl. What if she exposed herself when she put on the dress?

"Help me, please! I can't find a better model for this dress than you."

"But I am a man! How can I wear a female dress?"

Angelo said but felt guilty inside. She opened the door and was about to leave. She couldn't wear this dress anyway.

At this moment, Daisy held her t.h.i.g.h tightly, and she just froze there.

"What are you doing, Daisy?"

Angelo turned to look at Daisy, who, however, pulled her into the room, locked the door, and blocked it with her body.

"Daisy, I'm a man. I can't wear a dress. We can another person to be your model, and I can ask those girls inside the campus,"

As Angelo looked at the gown on the bed, she was upset, but Daisy started to cry.

Angelo panicked when she saw Daisy crying and gave her the tissue at once.

"Don't cry, Daisy. Ugh, this has upset me too, looking you like that,"

"I will if you promise me. You know it's my dream. Just help me once."

Daisy dropped the tissue to the floor, and her tears burst from her eyes like a dam. She was just like a poor little girl.

"I can't, Daisy."

Angelo softly wiped the tears from Daisy's face and looked helpless.

She didn't mind wearing a dress if she was a man. But as a girl, she would expose herself in the dress.

Her b.o.o.b.s were big, and the dress was low-necked. She couldn't hide her identity anymore if she put on it.

"Darren refused me at my birthday party. And now my dream is ruined."

Daisy said in a broken voice. Then she squatted down, looking very sad.

"Fine!" Angelo gritted.

Somehow, she trusted Daisy. She believed that Daisy would help her even if she was exposed.

"Really? Deal?" Daisy looked up. There were tears in her eyes.

Angelo knew she had to do it and nodded.

"Great! I knew you would help me," said Daisy, putting her head on Angelo's shoulder and smiled.

"Alas!"

Angelo sighed, gently patting Daisy on her head.

A moment later, Daisy withdrew from Angelo's arms. She picked up the dress and compared it to Angelo.

"How about you put it on now? Then we can just go to the audition."

"No!" Angelo refused.

She was prepared to wear it but not now.

"I'll change when we arrived there."

"All right. The match will be held in Seal tomorrow night. We'd leave now."

A seal was a city adjacent to Boom with major television stations.

Daisy thought Angelo didn't want to wear the dress now and didn't force Angelo. She packed the dress and then held Angelo to leave.

"What about your class? Don't you worry about Witch Susie?"

Angelo thought of the French class and asked Daisy.

"I've asked for a leave, saying that I'll go out to survey with you. She agreed."

As Daisy was talking, she put the stuff in the trunk of the car, gave Angelo the keys, and then sat on the passenger seat.
