Chapter 735 - 60: Looked For Her Sister?

Later, Aiken called back. Drake picked up his phone, and Angelo kept staring at him.

Drake listened and then frowned.

Seeing that, Angelo closed her eyes with desperation, thinking that her lie was revealed and she would be screwed. She wondered if Drake would suspect her as a girl because of this.

"I'll look for your sister as soon as possible. After all, she saved my life."

Angelo heard Drake saying that. She was surprised and opened her eyes to look at Drake.

"Look for my sister?" She asked, pointing at herself.

Drake nodded and then squinted.

"What? Don't you want to find her?"

"No, I mean… Thank you, Drake. I didn't expect to find her."

Angelo mocked, clasped her hands tightly. She didn't expect Drake to find out that she had a sister.

Since Angelo's identity now was a boy, and "he" had a sister, it meant that the twins were boys and girls. Angelo was a girl, so the other was a boy. Right, Angelo had a brother. Thinking of that, there was a gleam of hope in her eyes.

When she lived as Angela, she was the adopted daughter of the Watts's and had never experienced care from the relatives. When she returned to life as Angelo, Drake treated her well, but she looked forward to having a family connected by blood.

The thing was, if she had a brother, why did her grandfather disguise her as a boy and sent her to the Thorne family? Angelo wondered.

At this time, Drake stood up, took his suit from Hale, and walked out.

"Where are you going, Drake?"

Angelo hurried to follow up. She grabbed Drake's sleeve and stared at him.

"Do you get any clues about my sister, Drake? Can I go with you?"

Seeing Angelo like this, Drake felt that she was funny. But when he thought of Aiken's words, he became serious.

He pushed Angelo's hand away and walked out without explanation. Angelo hurried to follow up.

Just as she reached out to open the door, Drake started the car and rushed forward in a minute, leaving her standing there.

Her hand froze there, then she took it back and got upset. But soon, she noticed another car parking near her and smiled.

"I have to follow you anyway," she mumbled.

She got the key to the car from Hale, but she didn't know where to go until she started the car.

Since Drake left after receiving Aiken's call, he must go to the company, Angelo thought.

So, she just drove to Drake's company. Sure enough, she saw Drake's car in front of the company.

"I knew it!"

She took the key, fiddled with it, and was quite complacent. Just as she was about to enter the building, she saw Abby dressed up and wore delicate makeup.

"What is she doing here?"

Abby was a celebrity, so she couldn't appear in public casually. It might cause a riot if people recognized her.

Angelo had been a popular actress and knew it. So, she didn't understand why Abby would appear here. She put the key into her pocket and secretly followed behind Abby.

She had doubted that Abby was related to the Hills. And she had a hunch that she would find out their connections this time.

She had been following behind Abby when several strong men appeared. That was not good.

She didn't want to put herself in danger, and she might get another chance to find everything out, so she planned to give it up.

When she turned to leave, the strong men blocked her way.

"Damn it!"

She swore and was about to detour when the men come to grab her in the arms.

"Let go of me. I'm the sixth master of the Thorne," she shouted.

But the men just ignored her. She shouted for help, but someone covered her mouth at once.

At this moment, a man in the crowd shouted, "Abby! That's Abby. She's here!"

Coincidentally, Abby's facial mask happened to fall from her face. At once, there was an immediate sensation in the crowd.

People rushed to her and asked for her signatures. In the chaos, no one noticed Angelo being grabbed by the strong men.

Angelo was desperate. There were only w.h.i.n.es from her covered mouth. While she struggled, the key fell from her pocket.

Soon, she was stuck in the car by the men, who then started the car.

Inside the car, they let go of Angelo. She rubbed her swollen wrist and then looked at the men.

"Do you know I'm the sixth master of the Thorne? If Drake knows it, you'll be in big trouble," she threatened and looked quite angry.

"You don't need to threaten us. Someone paid us to do this. I believe you can understand that," one man said indifferently.

Angelo gave a horror look. She looked at the four men and wondered if they were about to kill her.

No, she couldn't die. She had not revenged. How could she die before revenging those who hurt her?

Thinking of that, she made up her mind to save herself, and there was a firm look in her eyes. She looked out at the road through the window.

She clenched her fists. Then she moved towards the door and forced a smile.

"We can talk about it, right? How much will that person give you? I'll give you ten times the money. What did your opinion, guys? You know the Thorne family is the ric.h.e.s.t family in Boom."

"That's a lot of loose talk. You are just an adopted son," the man said in contempt, but there was greedy in his eyes.

"You can inquire about it. Drake thinks highly of me now. He will pay you one hundred times the money as long as I ask him, let alone ten times the money," Angelo hurriedly promised.

With that, she saw the man was moved. Just as she thought there might be a chance, the driver roared, "Don't think too much. We'll leave here after it."

Hearing that, Angelo knew the negotiation failed. Looking at the speeding car, she gritted and quickly opened the door.

"What are you doing?"

The man was about to grab Angelo, who fell out because of inertia.
