Chapter 739 - 64: There Is A Thief Here?

Hale left.

Angelo walked into the room. She glanced at the layout of the room and then muttered, "Are the rooms of the Thorne family all the same?"

She lay down on the bed and felt its softness. She was so relaxed all over.

"Shower time! I need to freshen up myself to remove this anxiety,"

She cheered and walked into the bathroom. But when she finished the shower, she remembered that she had no clothes to change.

"Oh, I forgot it."

She slapped her head, hid her Adam's apple, and walked out, wrapped in a towel.

There were lots of clothes in her original room. So, she went to it.

"I know there is a large shirt here." She took out an oversized shirt from the wardrobe.

As she was about to leave, she heard the sound of water in the bathroom.

"There is a thief here?" With a slight murmur, she placed her shirt on the bed, picked up a badminton racket, and walked carefully to the bathroom.

By this time, the sound of the shower had stopped, she slowly approached the bathroom door. Suddenly, the door opened from the inside.

Angelo was startled, and the ground of the bathroom was slippery, she just slipped and fell.

"What are you doing here?"

Drake, wrapped in a towel, coldly looked at Angelo on the floor. Angelo reached to Drake when she heard his voice.

"Give me a hand, brother."

Drake squinted when he heard that. Angelo then noticed that she shouldn't talk like that, so she covered her mouth at once.

"Stand up by yourself."

Then, Drake walked out of the bathroom. Angelo could only struggle up. She rubbed her knees and muttered, "You don't even help a beauty in need. No wonder you're still single."

She then thought of Daisy's words, saying that Drake had no girlfriend and even no affairs with any girl. She couldn't help laughing.

"What are you laughing at?"

Angelo heard the cold asking, and she then found Drake sitting outside.

She fl.u.s.tered and quickly covered her mouth.

"No, nothing," she answered gloomily.

Looking at her like this, Drake couldn't help but think of Angelo, who used to be like that, and he smiled.

Angelo widened her eyes when she saw that. She had never seen Drake smile before. Since she showed up as a girl, Drake touched her, and now he smiled.

She started to doubt Daisy's words. Drake didn't like a man who didn't like women.

"Why did you call me brother?" Drake asked.

Angelo looked at him. When she saw his cold face, she sighed inside that men were changeable.

"Tell me why?"

Drake wasn't happy when he saw Angeline in a daze.

Angelo came to her senses. She thought about it and didn't know how to answer him.

She looked up at the ceiling, hesitated, and then had a perfect excuse.

"I call you brother because my brother may call you like that."

She thought it was an excellent answer. Drake, however, suspected her after hearing that. He stood up and got close to Angelo.

Angelo stepped back and then retreated to a corner. Looking at Drake's face, her heart started to beat wildly.

"Drake, you…"

Drake's hands c.a.r.e.s.sed her face before she could finish her words. Angelo shivered and gasped.

Then Drake lowered his head. Angelo thought of something and closed her eyes.

But things didn't go as she thought. She felt a pain in her face. As she opened her eyes, she saw Drake pulling at her face with an expressionless face.

"Ouch, it hurts. Are you crazy?"

Angelo regretted it after saying that. She shouldn't scold Drake, the big boss in Boom.

"Oh, god! He may kill me," Angelo said inside.

The more she thought about it, the more she feared. But Drake quickly let go of her now.

"You don't have plastic surgery," he said in a deep voice.

Angelo showed a complex look when she heard that. Now she realized that Drake was checking if she had plastic surgery to look like Angelo.

She touched her smooth skin and rolled her eyes.

Of course not. That was her skin.

"Please leave here tomorrow morning when you get the money."

Although Drake confirmed that Angeline didn't have plastic surgery to be like Angelo, he always felt that there was something wrong with her. A girl like this should leave here as soon as better.

"Why? You're driving me away?"

Angelo had planned to leave the following day, but she didn't expect that Drake would ask her to leave since she had saved him.

"So, what do you want?"

Drake turned to look at Angelo, and the look was cold.

Angelo wasn't happy to see Drake like this, and she got angrier when she thought of Drake's movement just now.

Anyone would regard that as a flirt. She felt wronged and wanted revenge.

She strode over to Drake but winced as she saw his cold face.

But thinking of Drake's tone, she summoned up her courage. She looked at Drake and quickly put her arms around his neck.

"What…"

A look of surprise came over Drake's face. When he was about to accuse her, Angelo stood on tiptoe and kissed him to block the rest of his words.

Angelo didn't even realize what she did until she felt the warm touch on her lips. She then scared and hurriedly let go of Drake.

"Now we are even."

She quickly took the shirt out of bed and spoke in a defiant voice, which was clearly a lack of courage. Then she fled out of the room.

Looking at her back, Drake thought of the kiss. He touched his lips, but his ears flushed.

Angelo was back in his mind at this moment. Thinking of Angelo's sunny smile, he felt guilty.

"F.u.c.k!" he swore and then went to the bathroom. There was the sound of water again.

Feeling the cold water, Drake suppressed his guilt. He rubbed his head and felt complicated.

When Angelo ran to her room, she quickly locked the door and then sat on the bed.
