Chapter 750 - 75: Is He Pursuing You?

Angelo asked in confusion. Daisy nodded under her gaze. So Angelo was more confused.

"Is he pursuing you?"

Daisy nodded, and her face was burning.

"You don't love him anymore?"

Angelo knew Daisy loved Darren. So, she should happily agree since Darren pursues her now.

She didn't understand it. She thought they were together since the day Darren held Daisy out.

"No. I love him."

"Then why do you want me to drive him away?"

Angelo couldn't get Daisy.

Finally, Daisy looked at Angelo seriously.

"Remember, Angelo, you are a girl. If a guy pursues you, you have to play hard to get no matter how much you love him."

Looking at Angelo's confused face, Daisy gave a long sigh and gently patted Angelo on the shoulder.

"Forget about it. You have a long way to go. I'll teach you that later. But now, you have to go to school with me."

Looking at Daisy's begging eyes, Angelo finally nodded, thinking that she didn't know many people at school and wouldn't expose herself.

But still, she couldn't understand why two people who loved each other wouldn't just be together. It was such a simple thing, I just needed one to tell the other, "I love you."

However, Angelo didn't know that it was just Daisy's excuse. She had been hating Darren for refusing her on her birthday.

Soon, the two arrived at school. As soon as they were getting out of the car, Angelo saw Darren waiting there.

"You are here, Daisy."

Darren smiled and came for Daisy the minute he saw her. But his smile froze as he saw Angelo.

Angelo pretended that she didn't remember Darren, so she ignored him and held Daisy out of the car.

Finally, Darren couldn't maintain his smile as he saw the two hands held together. He went up and took Angelo's hand.

"Long time no see, Angelo. May I have the honor to invite you to lunch?"

"Thanks, but no."

Darren held Angelo's hand hard. Angelo couldn't do anything about it. She knew Darren took her a.s.s, his rival in love.

She struggled but couldn't get rid of his hand. Then she looked at Daisy for help.

That was not what Daisy wanted. Angelo was a girl. She didn't want the man she loved to hold another girl's hand. So, she quickly went up and split them.

"I have made a reservation for a restaurant. How about we eat together after class?"

Darren looked at Daisy with deep love. Daisy blushed instantly.

"All right. Just to welcome Angelo back."

Of course, Daisy didn't want to refuse. She thought about it and pulled Angelo to her side. Angelo could only smile at Darren.

She didn't want to meddle in Daisy's affairs and regretted coming.

"Do you want to go with us, Mr. Angelo?"

Darren looked at Angelo with a threat.

Angelo backed a few steps.

"No, no. I don't even know you," said Angelo with a vague look on her face, waving her hands. Fortunately, she "had amnesia" now, she thought.

Daisy stamped her foot and bit her mouth. Then she pulled Angelo to her side and put on a sweet smile.

"This is Darren, a good friend of Drake. He prepared lunch for you. I don't think he will be happy if you don't go."

There was hate in her tone.

Then she looked at Darren and forced a smile, "Right, Darren?"

However, Darren withdrew his smile. Coldly, he glanced at Angelo and shook his head firmly.

"No. I just want to eat with Daisy."

"How could you do that, Darren?" Daisy condemned Darren angrily, pointing at him.

But Angelo could see that Daisy was happy. Then she gave a wry smile, "Then enjoy your lunch. Excuse me."

With that, Angelo turned to leave. Daisy reached out to stop her, but Darren held her right away and suppressed her hands.

Smelling the fragrance on Darren, Daisy was shy.

After walking for a while, Angelo turned to look back. When she saw Darren leaving with his arm around Daisy, she gave a wry smile.

Did Daisy ask her here to show her love for Darren? What did they have to do with her? Angelo complained inside.

While she was losing in thought, a man showed in front of her, and she just bumped into him.

"Ouch!"

She gasped, then backed away. When she raised to see the man, her face froze.

"What are you doing here, Drake?"

God, what bad luck she had today! She didn't expect to meet Drake at school, let alone bumping into him.

When she sensed the coldness from Drake, she forced a smile and stepped back to flee.

Compared with facing Drake, she would rather be a third wheel between the loving couple.

But, "Stop!" the cold words stopped her.

Didn't dare to go against Drake's words, Angelo could only stand stiffly there. Then she turned around and forced a smile.

"What a coincidence, Drake!"

"What are you doing here?" Drake asked.

Angelo stayed. That should be her question.

She was a student at this university. It was normal for her to be here. But what was Drake here for?

Angelo thought about that in her mind and didn't dare to say them out.

She forced a gentle smile, "Daisy said I have French class today, so I came here."

With that, she scratched her head and looked away, feeling guilty.

She didn't have Susie's class today, but she didn't think Drake knew that. In the face of the serious man, she was a little scared.

However, she was wrong.

"You have no class today," said Drake.

Angelo widened her eyes when she heard that and looked at Drake.

"And you should be serious about the call to an ordinary friend," added Drake.

Somehow, he didn't want to hear Angelo call Daisy so intimately.

Looking at Drake's cold face, Angelo shrank and replied, "All right." But her mind was still on the fact that Drake knew she had no class today.

"Don't believe others," said Drake again, interrupting her thought.

Angelo knew Drake was talking about the words she just lied to. So, she was a little awkward.

"Yeah."
