Chapter 760 - 85: Audition

Angelo nodded with a firm look. She had to be famous. Only then could she try to get revenge.

"Oh, I don't know you are so confident with yourself. You are so narcissistic."

Daisy laughed

Angelo knew Daisy was just joking. So, she made a winning sign for her.

"Of course."

"All right. Could you stop it? Call your Clarence now," urged Daisy with a grin.

Angelo's face flushed deeper when she heard that, and she nodded gently.

She found Clarence's number and called him. Soon, it got through.

***

"Hello?" sounded Clarence's voice.

Angelo's heart couldn't help beating faster.

"Mr. Wilson, this is Angeline. This is my new number."

"Yeah. When will you come this afternoon? The supervisor of this film is on the spot now. Can you meet him this afternoon?"

While speaking, Clarence replaced the old number with the new one. He didn't care about why Angeline suddenly changed her number.

"I'm on my way."

From Clarence's words, Angelo knew that she was sure to be the heroine because only the hero and heroine could meet the supervisor.

After that, she hung up.

Daisy had already prepared a car for her. But to be on the safe side, she detoured to avoid meeting people of the company and then went to the shooting site.

"I'm so glad you're here, Angeline," said Clarence.

As soon as she arrived, she saw Clarence waiting there for her and was shy.

At this point, Daisy, who was in the car, pushed Angelo. Angelo then got out of the car.

When Clarence saw Angelo's wear, he was surprised and satisfied.

"This is the heroine I want," he mumbled.

Angelo stayed when she heard that and then smiled helplessly.

Sure enough, Clarence was the same as before. There were only characters of the movie in his eyes.

While Angelo was thinking, she glanced over a car and then was surprised.

As she remembered, Drake got in a car like this before he left. Somehow, she had a bad feeling.

When she withdrew her eyes, she patted her c.h.e.s.t and comforted herself in a low voice, "I just think too much." There couldn't be such a coincidence, she thought.

Following Clarence, she soon arrived at the audition room. As soon as she entered, she felt the cold aura.

Looking at the familiar back, she felt despair. But the only thing she could do now was to turn and close her eyes.

"Mr. Thorne, this is Miss Angeline, my heroine," said Clarence.

Angelo could only turn back when she heard that. She put on a smile and looked at Drake, "Long time no see, Mr. Thorne."

Hearing the familiar voice, Drake frowned slightly and then turned back. When he saw Angeline's face, he was stunned.

When Clarence heard Angelo, he was confused, "You know Mr. Thorne, Angeline?"

Angelo nodded and explained, "Mr. Thorne is the brother of my brother."

There was a guilty note in her voice. Drake recovered at this point. He glanced at Angelo and asked coldly, "What's wrong with your hair?"

"I heard that the heroine in the film had short hair, so I decided to have the hair like my brother."

With that, she looked away. There was an embarrassing smile on her face.

"It seems that Miss Watts has learned about the film. Since we know each other well, how about auditioning now, Mr. Thorne?" Clarence suggested, looking at Drake, who nodded and sat down.

Then, someone handed the script to Angelo. She knew the audition process well. Once she started to work, she was engaged in her work and forgot about everything, including Drake.

The part she would audition was that the heroine was assaulted by a guy because of her beauty when she went to a bar with the hero and then caused a fight.

After thinking about the actions and expressions, Angelo nodded to Clarence, indicating that she was ready.

She imagined the audition room as the bar and acted as she thought. Being affected by her, the crowd felt that they were in the play.

Angelo paused after performing this scene, but it was very quiet around. For a moment, she was nervous.

She acted well in her last life, but it was her first acting in front of Clarence in this life. It had been a long time since she had acted, so she was a little worried.

"Perfect!" whispered Clarence.

It took a while for him to come back to himself. He was quite satisfied, feeling that Angeline was the perfect heroine as he imagined.

Hearing that, Angelo was relieved. She smiled and thanked Clarence. Then she took a look at Drake, who, however, was deep in thought.

He wasn't sure if it was because of the twin relationship, Angeline was so similar to Angelo.

"What do you think, Mr. Thorne?" Clarence turned to look at Drake, who nodded. Angelo was quite happy.

But then, his cold words ruined her happiness.

"Good appearance, but bad acting."

Hearing that, Angelo got angry. She won awards in her previous life. Even if she went backward, it couldn't be "bad."

Even Clarence felt awkward when he heard that. Honestly, he didn't see anything wrong with Angeline's acting.

But he couldn't refute Drake. He hesitated for a moment and then smiled, "Can we chose her as the heroine, Mr. Thorne? I can guide her in acting."

"You are the director. You call the shots."

With that, Drake coldly glared at Angeline, who wasn't convinced but still forced a smile.

Drake was the supervisor, and she would not get anything good if she offended him.

Compared with her revenge, these were trivial matters. Thinking about that, she smiled more sincerely.

When Drake saw the look on Angeline's face, he dispelled his doubts. If this one was Angelo, "he" couldn't smile.

"Then Miss Watts is the heroine of the movie. How about you come here to practice acting at this time, Miss Watts?" asked Clarence tentatively.

Angelo nodded without hesitation. That was the only time she could slip out of the company.

When she thought that she had to work for Drake in the company and then follow his order in the shooting site, she felt unhappy but couldn't do anything about it.
