Chapter 765 - 90: No Wonder You Look So Alike

Angelo's body froze for a second, then she turned and smiled at Drake, taking her hand back.

"You should say hello to me, do you, Miss Watts?"

It was just ordinary words, but Angelo felt that it sounded like a command. She felt annoyed by the way Drake delivered it.

"I don't want to talk with you," she complained inside. But Drake was the boss. Thinking of that, she could only give in.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Thorne. Nice to see you again," An awkward smile showed on her lovely face.

After that, she fled to the shooting studio. As soon as she got inside, she saw a familiar figure. But it was not Clarence.

"Hi, Angeline, this is the hero of the movie, Jeremy, the new star."

As Clarence's voice dropped, Jeremy turned around, smiling. But when he saw Angelo's face, he was surprised.

"Senior," he couldn't help calling out.

Angelo was stunned when she heard that. She didn't expect to shoot with the same partner after she came back to life.

Yes, she had shot with Jeremy, who played Jasper in the last movie. So, she kind of knew this boy.

But Angelo didn't forget her identity as Angeline, a new actress in showbiz, now. And Angeline had never acted with Jeremy.

Thinking of that, she looked around and then pointed to herself with a blank face, "Who are you talking with, Jeremy?"

Seeing Angelo like that, Jeremy then found that Angelo had no Adam's apple, and she dressed as a girl, so he was more puzzled.

"This is Angeline, Angelo's sister."

Drake's voice sounded at this time.

He had known that Jeremy was the hero of the movie, which was also one of the reasons he invested in it.

Everything develops rapidly at this time. The Thorne needed new people in showbiz to help with their further development.

"Hi, Mr. Thorne," greeted Jeremy, respectfully looking at Drake. He knew Drake's identity now. Thanks to Drake's help, he got this role. So, he respected him.

"Yeah." Drake nodded. Then he sat on a chair and picked up the newspaper, looking relaxed.

"Oh, you're the senior's sister. No wonder you look so alike."

The doubt in Jeremy's heart was solved. He gave a kind smile. He shot his first show with Angelo. Although they didn't finish shooting it, it had a great impact on his acting.

When he felt proud of his acting, he would think of Angelo, who motivated him to keep improving. And that was why he got the chance.

Almost every person got famous after acting in Clarence's movies. It was like a ladder to the red carpet.

"I hope we can work well. I am looking forward to a great result of this film,"

Angelo gave a genuine smile and reached out her hand. Jeremy hurriedly reached out to shake hands with her.

"So do I. Don't worry, I know you can act better, even though you're just an amateur," Jeremy added.

Angelo wanted to raise her eyebrow upon hearing the statement from Jeremy because, in her past life, she acted in several films and television series. Still, she restrains herself from answering further as she knew everyone thought she's Angeline. They looked at each other and smiled.

Witnessing the scene, Drake put down the newspaper, and his eyes looked cold.

"Angeline, you must have read the script yesterday. So, let's start shooting today. I'll guide you if there's something wrong. Then you can do more practice," said Clarence, with a smile.

Angelo nodded. The content of the script appeared in her mind.

When Angelo and Jeremy were in the right place, Clarence's voice sounded, "Action."

In this scene, the heroine had thrust down the tall building but was saved by the hero, and then she kissed the hero.

Everything went well until the kiss part. Somehow, Angelo was a little resistant.

"Stop."

The two stopped. Angelo looked at Clarence with sorry.

She had shot many kiss scenes, which were all very good. But why can't she do this now?

"Angeline, you did very well before, but the kiss part is not good. You have to let go."

"Yeah."

Angelo nodded.

Then she tried several times with Jeremy but all failed.

"Angeline, just let go. It's just a kiss."

"Yeah," replied Angelo, but still, she resisted it.

After trying several more times, she couldn't act to her normal level, which even made her doubt her acting.

Clarence couldn't do anything about it. He checked the time and said, "You can take a rest. We'll shoot later."

Hearing that, Angelo sat down, grabbed a bottle of water, and started to drink.

"It's said that when a girl falls in love with someone, she can't shoot the kiss part anymore," joked Jeremy with a smile.

Somehow, Angelo suddenly thought of her kissing Drake. She shook her head with a sad look. She didn't know why she couldn't do the kiss part well.

Drake, however, raised his eyebrows when he heard Jeremy. He put down the newspaper and said, "You can imagine him as me."

Angelo froze and then blushed. She hurriedly looked away and mumbled, "You wish!"

Jeremy was surprised when he saw that. Soon he seemed to understand something and smiled.

He looked at Drake and Angelo, thinking that they were indeed a good match.

"Are you ready? Let's try one more time," said Clarence.

Angelo put the water bottle aside and went to her place.

Looking at Jeremy, she suddenly thought of Drake's words.

"Just have a try," she thought and slowly closed her eyes.

Soon, she opened her eyes. There was a mischievous look on her face, but deep in her eyes, there was a touch of affection.

Quickly, she tiptoed up and kissed Jeremy on his lips, then she turned and ran away, leaving Jeremy staying there.

"Stop. Good!" said Clarence with a satisfied look.

It was just the scene he imagined.

"It's perfect. You've made great progress, Angeline," complimented Clarence.

Hearing that, Angelo smiled and looked at Drake with a pair of complicated eyes.

Noticing her gaze, Drake thought of something, and his face looked much better. Seeing that, Angelo hurriedly withdrew her gaze.
