Chapter 780 - 105: He Just Kicked Me Out

After a big cry, Angelo finally calmed down. She wiped the tears on her face, and her mind was blank. She promised not to be a cry baby anymore, which would be the last time she shed tears.

Drake had asked her to leave, so she couldn't go back to the resort. But now, she had nowhere to go. Her face was full of bitterness.

Just then, her phone rang. It was Daisy. Seeing the name on her phone, Angelo thought of something and took out a key from her pocket.

She gave a wry smile. Looking at the key, she knew she had a house. It lifted up her mood after the crying moment because she still has a best friend like Daisy.

When she answered the call, she heard Daisy's cheerful voice, "How are you going, Angelo? Do you get along well with Drake?"

Daisy was joking about her, but tears fell as she heard the name of Drake.

"No. He just kicked me out."

There was a grievance in her voice. Daisy was the only person who knew her identity as well as her best friend.

Daisy got worried when she heard Angelo.

"What? What did you say? He kicked you out? Did he bully you? Could you give me the address? I'll kick his a.s.s. He's getting into my nerves! Don't cry, baby," she comforted Angelo, but still, she was angry.

She had thought Angelo and Drake would have a spark during the trip, so that she didn't call Angelo until now. But to her surprise, she heard Angelo cry.

"Yeah."

Angelo was in her grief now, and Daisy seemed to become her savior. So, without hesitation, she sent Daisy the address. And Daisy drove here as soon as she got the message.

Not long after, she arrived at the resort and called Angelo to ask where she was. Finally, she found her.

The minute Angelo saw Daisy, she couldn't hold herself and ran to hold Daisy. Tears kept falling on Daisy's shoulders.

Gently, Daisy patted her back and comforted her, "It's all right. I'm here."

When Angelo got better, Daisy let her go. Looking at Angelo with red eyes, Daisy felt sad.

"How could he bully you so much? Wait here, I'll kick his a.s.s for you."

With that, Daisy rolled her sleeves and clenched her fists. She was indeed upset now. Suddenly, Angelo held her fists.

"Forget about it. I just want to go home now. Away from here,"

She shook the key in her hand. She looked determined, Daisy had to compromise and nod. Finally, Daisy drove Angelo to Green.

When Angelo opened the door of the house, she was stunned. The decoration here was the same as before.

Seeing her expression, Daisy finally relieved. She went to Angelo and said, "We're home now. Don't think about Drake anymore."

Angelo nodded. Looking at the familiar scene, things that happened in her last life appeared in her mind, which strengthened her determination for revenge. Now, she forgot about Drake.

Daisy's eyes were filled with admiration when she saw a different Angelo.

Angelo was so resilient, she thought.

Then, Angelo began to look around the house. The more she looked, the familiar she felt.

Daisy hurried to catch up. Seeing Angelo like this, she felt something was wrong with her but couldn't tell what it was.

"It's indeed the same as before."

Angelo couldn't help mumbling as she touched the familiar things. Daisy, however, couldn't understand what she was talking about.

When Angelo opened the closet, she finally came back from her old memory.

"These clothes…"

Looking at the new clothes with tags, Angelo was puzzled. Daisy hurried to come. She finally heard a question she could answer.

"I chose them for you. What do you say? I have good taste, do I?"

With that, she took the clothes and put them in front of Angelo one by one. There was pride full on her face. After all, she carefully chose all the clothes by herself.

Angelo couldn't help crying when she heard that. She hugged Daisy and felt so touched.

Sensing the wet on the shoulders, Daisy patted Angelo on her shoulders and comforted her lightly, "All right. You were fine just now, weren't you? Don't cry for that man. He isn't worth it."

"No. I'm so touched. I'm so lucky to have you here."

With that, Angelo wiped tears from her face and forced a smile. Daisy then knew Angelo didn't cry for Drake.

"That's good," she sighed.

But then, she saw the suit on Angelo and showed a look of disgust in her eyes.

"Since you're here, you don't need to live as a man."

With that, she slowly unbuttoned Angelo's suite.

"Yeah," Angelo answered. She didn't want to be tied down by her identity as a man.

When she took off her clothes, the red corselet was exposed. Daisy saw it and sighed inside that Angelo was indeed rigorous on herself.

Angelo unstrapped the white ribbon on her c.h.e.s.t after choosing the outfit and put it on.

"It's so comfortable."

She sank on the sofa. Unbound by the straps, she felt her cells free.

"From now on, you're Angeline. I'll take you to enjoy the life of being a girl!" announced Daisy, putting her hand on Angelo's shoulder.

Angelo nodded. Since Drake didn't want her to be with him, she could abandon her identity as the sixth young master of the Thorne. Living as Angeline, she believed she could also get revenge.

As for the trouble before, she just wanted to let it go. Now, she was just Angeline.

After resting for a while, Daisy said to Angelo, "All right. Let's go to eat."

Angelo nodded.

Then the two went to a famous restaurant.

"May I have the order?"

Soon, a waitress came to serve them. She put the menu on the table and was about to recommend specials when she saw Angelo.

"You are Angeline, are you?" she asked.

Angelo was surprised but still nodded, "Yeah."

Hearing the positive answer, the waitress showed a feverish look.
