Chapter 785 - 110: I'll Wait And See

Just then, Angelo's phone beeped. She pushed Daisy away and took her phone to check the message.

When she saw the address, she mumbled in confusion, "This coffee shop is near Drake's company, isn't it?"

Daisy approached to check. When she saw the address, she confirmed Angelo's thought, "Yeah, it's there."

Angelo had a sense of foreboding. Would Drake appear there? She wondered. Then she shook her head to drop it.

Drake wouldn't be so idle, she comforted herself inside. Beside her, Daisy had no worries at all. She supported her face with hands, and there was light in her eyes.

"You used to change clothes in this coffee shop. And you're going to sign a contract there. It seems to be your lucky spot," said Daisy.

Angelo could only smile at her. Suddenly, Daisy clapped her hands and looked very excited.

"How about I ask my dad to buy this coffee shop? Then you would be more famous."

Hearing her, Angelo went up to hold her palms. She gave a complex look. Rich people like Daisy were willful.

"No, don't. Stop this nonsense."

"All right."

Daisy nodded. But in her mind, she began to plan it. Angelo didn't know what Daisy was thinking about, she just gave a long sigh.

She didn't know what rich people were like until she came back to life. Compared with Daisy, she didn't spend much money when she lived as Angela.

"By the way, did you have the right person in your mind as your agent?"

Daisy's question drew Angelo from her thought. She thought for a while and then shook her head.

"No. Glamor may give me one."

Hearing that, Daisy rolled her eyes. Then she grabbed Angelo's hands and winked her big eyes. Angelo knew she must be planning something now.

She took her hands back and asked in a tone of helplessness, "Say it. What do you want?"

Daisy glanced at her cautiously and then pointed at herself.

"Can I be your agent, honey?" she asked.

"You?" Angelo looked at Daisy and hurriedly waved her hands. "Stop it. It's not easy an easy job. Besides, you are so beautiful that you can be a star. You don't need to do that."

Hearing him, Daisy smiled shyly. She lowered her head and poked her finger.

"You are telling the truth, but I can't act, so I can only be your agent. You know, I can learn how to be an agent," said Daisy with a serious look in her eyes.

Seeing that, Angelo stopped joking. She sat straight and looked at Daisy with confusion.

"Why do you want to be my agent?"

"I do this for you. If it's someone else, she or he may find your secret, right?"

Thinking of her double identity, Angelo sighed heavily. She wished she was just Angeline.

Seeing that Angelo was about to agree, Daisy added, "Besides, I'm interested in this job. Just agree with it, all right?"

She grabbed Angelo's hands, spouted her lips, and looked at Angelo with a pleading face.

Angelo's heart softened. Daisy's words made sense. Finally, she scratched Daisy's nose and nodded.

"You can be my agent, but I have no right to make the decision."

Angelo tilted her head with a helpless look.

"Don't worry. As long as you propose it to Clarence, I can settle the rest," said Daisy hurriedly. There was confidence full of her eyes.

"All right. I'll wait and see."

Angelo was intrigued by her confidence and smiled slightly.

"All right. I'll choose the clothes you are going to wear tomorrow. You can go to bed now."

Daisy pulled Angelo up and pushed her to her bedroom.

Standing against the door, Angelo glanced at Daisy, covered her c.h.e.s.t, and gave a look of shyness.

"Oh, my lovely agent is so sweet. I love you so much!"

With that, she made a loving gesture to Daisy. Daisy stood straight and looked quite proud.

"Good. Just move your a.s.s to the bed," ordered Daisy.

Angelo burst into laughter but then covered her mouth.

"You're doing the job as an assistant now. It seems that you have a lot to learn, Miss Agent Clark."

After finishing her words, she closed the door at once. Her action was so quick that Daisy could only stomp in anger.

Early the next morning, Angelo was awakened by a hasty knock on the door. She covered her head with a pillow but couldn't keep the sound off.

"What the hell?!" half-awake, she complained angrily. Daisy was surprised that she could hear the coyness from Angelo's voice.

While sighing inside, Daisy kept knocking. The knock was so annoying to Angelo that she couldn't sleep anymore. Finally, she threw the pillow away and got up to open the door with her eyes half-open.

"What are you doing, Daisy? It's so early!"

As soon as she finished her words, she smelled the odor of food, which sobered her up.

Daisy smiled, "You should get up, honey. According to the information online, actors had better get up at five thirty." With that, she walked to the kitchen and served a bowl of kitchen soup on the table.

Angelo gave a bitter smile. Actors didn't work regularly, so they usually sleep as long as they could. So, Daisy didn't google right.

But she said nothing but walked to the dining table. When she saw the mouthwatering soup, she rubbed her messy hair and was shocked.

"You made this?"

She looked at Daisy and asked in surprise. After all, she didn't know Daisy could cook.

The soup smelled so good that she wanted to taste it right away.

However, Daisy stopped Angelo's move to have the soup, thinking that people who could cook were indeed foodies. She put on a serious face and said, "Wash yourself before eating, miss."

"All right. I didn't know you can cook."

Since Daisy didn't deny it, Angelo thought she made the soup. She sighed and followed her order to wash up.

A moment later, Angelo prepared herself. She tasted the soup with a satisfied look.

"It's delicious. You're great, honey! I don't know you are so good at cooking."
