Chapter 811 - 136: You Made The Decision

Drake was irritated. Then he said to Hale, "Give him ten days' confinement, Hale."

"Yes, Mr. Drake," replied Hale and then went upstairs.

Everyone could see that Drake treated Angeline indifferently. Patrick did such a silly thing. He should be punished.

Thinking about that, Hale knocked on the door of Patrick. When he told him about it, Patrick was very upset but couldn't do anything about it. Once again, Hale locked the door and went down.

Just then, Angelo noticed Corrine sitting not far away.

Corrine had witnessed what had happened just now. She knew Drake. He didn't punish people without reason. But just now, he did that for this girl. So, she was kind of curious about what kind of girl this is.

But when she saw the face Angelo, the walking stick fell from her hand. She held up her glasses and stared at Angelo.

"This is Angeline, Angelo's sister. Angelo asked her to chat with you, grandma," explained Drake when he saw Corrine had such a surprising response.

Hearing him, Corrine then calmed down.

People might think she was surprised because Angeline was the same as Angelo, but only she knew the true reason.

"You're just the same," she muttered.

Angelo happened to hear her when she picked up the stick and felt confused.

"What? Who are you talking about, grandma?" she asked, giving the stick back to Corrine. She had sharp listening, so she didn't think she heard it wrong.

"I mean, you are quite similar to Angelo," said Corrine in a low voice. Then she looked away, but there was guilty in her eyes.

The puzzle was solved. Angelo smiled, thinking that they were one person, of course, they looked the same.

"Angelo is my brother. I come here for the file of the Watts."

She came here for the file, and she was Angeline now, so she didn't need to coax Corrine.

Different from Angelo, Angeline was a Watts, Corrine had no reason to refuse it.

Drake didn't expect Angelo to say her purpose directly, so he was quite surprised. But he thought about it and then understood why Angeline did that.

"I don't have the file," said Corrine. She couldn't refuse Angelo, but Drake had taken the file away, so she avoided it.

Hearing that, Angelo turned to look at Drake and remembered what Drake had said before.

She squinted. "Drake?"

Angelo then began to recall the memories.

"Yeah. I got it, I…"

Before he could finish his words, Corrine suddenly stood up, coughed a bit, and shot Drake a warning glance.

Drake had grown up with Corrine, so he knew what she meant. With the confusion, he went up to support Corrine.

"Grandma is uncomfortable. I'll send her to her room."

With that, he supported Corrine to her bedroom. When they got into the room, Corrine closed the door with ease.

"What's wrong, grandma?" asked Drake.

Somehow, he felt that Corrine looked at him strangely.

"Have you read the file of the Watts?"

Corrine put the stick aside and sat on her bed. Drake shook his head. He had spent all his time on work these days because of Angelo, so he just forgot about the file.

Besides, he was not interested in an archive about the Watts. He might not know it if it hadn't been for Angelo.

"Well, what do you think about Angeline?" said Corrine tentatively.

Drake stayed and then thought of the scene with Jeremy with Angeline. He felt sad but still looked calm. Angeline, he thought, might have nothing to do with him anymore. So, he just shook his head.

Seeing that, Corrine gave a long sigh.

Others might think Drake didn't care about Angeline at all if they saw him like that, but Corrine could tell that he hesitated.

Drake had been a decisive person, but now he wasn't sure, so Corrine guessed that he cared about Angeline.

But this man was no longer that little boy, so she just needed to tell him the point.

"If you want to give the file to Angeline, you'd better read it before doing that."

"All right." Drake nodded.

Then Corrine asked him to leave and closed the door.

Drake went to his study. When he pushed the door open, he saw Angeline looking for something inside. He squinted, "What are you doing?"

Being startled by Drake's sudden arrival, Angelo dropped the file in her hands. Drake went up to pick it up. Sure enough, it was the missing pages.

Angelo scratched her head and looked away with guilty.

When she sensed the unhappy mood of Drake, she nerved herself and muttered, "I'm afraid you won't give it back to me, so I come here to look for it."

Then she spouted, thinking that it was difficult to prove her identity, which was all Drake's fault. The more she thought about it, the angrier she felt.

Just then, Drake started to read the file. Suddenly, his pupils contracted. Now he understood why Corrine said that to him.

He looked up and saw Angelo spouting, his eyes deepened. Then he raised the file in his hand and smiled, "Are you sure you want it?"

Angelo was stunned by his smile. Drake had a handsome face, but he usually looked indifferently, making people feel inviolable. But now, the smile was like a shed of light, no wonder Angelo was stunned.

But she had been living with Drake for such a long time and kind of used to his handsome face. Soon, she recovered herself.

After wiping the saliva from her mouth, she looked at Drake in his eyes and nodded firmly.

"All right. Here you are."

With that, Drake handed the file to Angelo, who took it over and looked at him with confusion.

She thought Drake wouldn't have given it to her easily, but he just gave it to her.

Protecting the file in her c.h.e.s.t, she cautiously stared at Drake and slowly moved towards the door. Still, she didn't believe he was so kind.

Seeing Angelo act like that, Drake clenched her fist.

When Angelo got to the door of the study, she breathed a long sigh of relief, thinking that she finally got it. As she was about to open the door to get out, a pair of hands held her in the arms.

"You made the decision."
