Chapter 876 - 201: It's A Powerful Opponent

"I'm done. Shall we go, Drake?"

Christina happened to come out of the bathroom near them and stayed when she saw Angelo.

Drake withdrew his eyes on Angelo, nodded lightly, and then left with Christina.

Just as they were about to pass over, Christina suddenly stopped and said, "Oh, what a coincidence, Mr. Watts and Miss Angeline. Are you eating here?"

Drake also stopped and looked at Angelo. Angelo's face became stiff.

"Yeah, it is. You two are so close. Are you going to the bathroom together?"

"No. I just went to fix my makeup, and Drake waited for me for a while."

With that, Christina leaned against Drake; either her tone or her expression seemed quite sweet.

Angelo breathed out, adjusted her mood, and tugged at McCoy's sleeve.

"I'm hungry. Shall we have dinner?"

"All right," replied McCoy. Then he held Angelo's hand and said goodbye to Drake and Christina.

Looking at the two leaving, Drake felt complicated. He had confirmed his love for Angelo. Why did his heart turbulent when he faced Angeline? Was it because she looked the same as Angelo?

"Drake," Christina suddenly called him and held his arm intimately.

"I know you miss Angelo. After all, he has grown up with you and went abroad suddenly. But that was Angeline. Don't take her as Angelo."

Christina had been good at judging people by their expressions. She was sure that Drake was concerned about Angeline because of Angelo since Drake proposed to dissolve his engagement to Angeline.

"I know," replied Drake. Then he withdrew his eyes and walked to a room.

Christina looked at her empty hands and gave a bitter smile.

She had taken Angeline as her enemy but then found that she should compete with Angelo. She had the confidence to beat Angeline. But Angelo was a man. How could she compete with a man?

But soon, Christina withdrew her sad face, followed up, and said, "Angelo has settled down in France. But his visa only allowed him to stay there for six months. So, he won't stay there for a long time."

Drake had concerned about Angelo, so he slowed down at once.

Angelo went to France, where the Adams family had their business there.

"My family can help him extend his visa, but I don't think you want him to stay there forever, do you?" asked Christina, tilting her head.

If possible, she wished Angelo to come back soon if Drake took Angeline as a replacement for Angelo.

"It depends on him," replied Drake. He didn't want that, but it was his real thoughts at present.

***

After dinner, McCoy sent Angelo back to the hotel. No one talked the whole way. McCoy could sense that Angelo was in a low mood.

Angelo got out of the car at the door of the hotel and headed to the hotel even without saying goodbye to McCoy.

"Angelo!" McCoy suddenly shouted. Angelo stayed there and then looked around in shock.

She was Angeline now. Why did McCoy call her Angelo so loudly?

"Don't worry. No one's here." McCoy walked to her and looked at her, "Do you love Drake?"

Angelo stopped worrying but looking down without saying anything.

She thought she didn't love Drake anymore, but all signs showed that she still loved Drake, or she wouldn't be jealous when she saw Drake being with Christina.

However, being Angeline meant that she wouldn't have connections with Drake and wouldn't see Drake every day.

Seeing Angelo being depressed, McCoy suddenly c.a.r.e.s.sed her head and said, "I'm sorry. You have to work tomorrow. Just go back and take a good rest."

Angelo nodded in silence and turned to the hotel.

In the deep night, McCoy faced the computer and listened to the deputy general manager report the company's operation.

Without Drake's interference, the company had resumed normal operations.

He had fired all previous shareholders, who could only leave in shame.

"The Thorne group just signed a contract, which they had prepared for a whole year. We can interfere in it with our power now."

"Contact the first party. I'll talk with them," said McCoy in a firm. The deputy general manager paused and hesitated to say, "Are you going to compete with the Thorne company? It's a powerful opponent."

Let alone Drake's influence in the business circle. The first and second son of the Thorne family had their power all over Europe. If they knew someone wanted to target the Thorne family, they would crush the Watts group, who had just got back in order.

"Just do as I said. You don't need to worry about it."

It was dark in the room, only light from the screen got on McCoy's face. Looking at his flawless face, the manager was kind of scared.

The day dawned, Angelo had sat on her bed for a whole night. When it was about the time she should go to work, she went to wash and change.

The assistant came and knocked at the door. When she saw the black circles around Angelo's eyes, she sighed for the makeup artist.

At the shooting site, the makeup artist tried so hard to cover Angelo's black circles. Then she complained, "Angeline, the screen is big and clear. The makeup may not cover your black circles if they are deeper."

Angelo smiled apologetically, "I'm sorry. I will try to protect my skin."

"You'd better do that, or I don't know what to do."

While they were talking, there was a noise outside.

Angelo had finished her makeup. Just as she was about to check what was going on, the assistant hurried in and said, "Big news! Drake came here with Christina. And he brings many gifts. Our colleagues are all gossiping that they are dating."

Angelo paused her move to get up. Then she sat back and decided to stay here.

However, she would have to see people if they came to her.

"Angeline, it's for you," she said.
