Chapter 6 - Greed

So beautiful. So deadly. Greed. Is there truly another sin that inspires such boundless ambition only to yield such hollow glories? And while my personal proclivities might tend toward the finer things in life, for so many of us, the path to ruin is truly paved with gold. The Romans looted the Carthaginians. Crusaders pillaged Jerusalem. European kings and queens plundered the New World to such an extent, that when the native Indians finally rebelled, they killed their captors by pouring molten gold down their throats until their intestines burst. But today, for all of the seven deadly sins, it's greed that we've allowed to become the most entwined in our daily lives. Demanding we use all of our ȧssets in the pursuit of greater ȧssets. Do you believe in love? I do believe in love. I know the feeling where you literally can't thin about another female except that one, and that's a pretty cool feeling. I think every girl believes in love. Everyone believes that everyone has a soul mate out there. [Laughter] When I was much younger, I believed in true love and the fairytale story of finding that soul mate. But after being in many failed relationships, one of the things I quickly realized is when two people get together, the ultimate question is, are they adding value to each other's lives? And that's really important because the last thing we want to do is to match a sugar baby who expects a lot with a sugar daddy who is not wealthy enough to support her five-star lifestyle. But we're just, you know, it's just a friendship with somebody that likes to give you nice things. Yeah. There you go. Very sėxy. Generally, I like college girls and artists. Being on a site where it's sort of the norm for younger women to date older guys, um, to me I find that probably the most appealing aspect of the site. She's from Germany. Mein Fraulein. There are lots of attractive young women who like to date older gentlemen, especially if, uh, they're generous, and help, and help them out. For me, it's the perfect filter to bring to me the kind of girls that I would be interested in going out with. Nice body. Tim, basically, um, I've talked to him over the phone a few times. I've checked out his profile. He seems to be very direct about what he wants. He sounds like he's looking for the same thing as me, basically. Somebody that doesn't mind taking care of somebody that struggling to go through school and take care of my school finances. And, you know, it's basically just straight up with me. As long as he is straight up with me as well, I think we'll both be on the same page. That's what he's told me, so I can only go by what he says. [Music] [Running water] The reason I first got into this is because one of my exes actually went to prison, and I had to figure out how I'm gonna pay for all of these lawyer fees. So, I started working at the bar and I noticed that a lot of the older gentlemen took a liking to me and I took a liking to them as well. And so, one of them actually mentioned, hey, you should sign up on this website. Um, you should get a sugar daddy. And I signed in, and I got like over, like, 300 messages within, you know, two weeks. And, um, that's basically how it all started. Couldn't even tell you how many sugar daddies I've had. It's just a matter of reality of life that money is an equalizer. I think a lot of people say that when you introduce wealth and generosity into the romance equation, it makes the whole thing a lot more superficial and less romantic. I think the opposite is true. My wife thinks that, uh, love is really a concept invented by poor people, because they simply have no money to create that romantic feeling. In the beginning, we talk on the phone a lot. And, normally they're not in this state, they're in another state. And, um, basically they just put money in my account whenever I need it. Or, any time I ask them for anything that I want, they just give it to me. Do you get a guy in another state to do that? You sign up on Seeking Arrangements and put your pictures online and they flock to you. So, cheers to an amazing helicopter ride. To me, it's sort of all that's good about a long-term relationship without the negative of, uh, serious strings attached. A second date would be kind of cool. Um, we could do something fun, like horseback riding or That'd be cool. If we decide this thing is gonna go, like, what does it look like to you? Um, honestly what I'm looking for is for somebody to get me, like, an apartment. It would make it so much easier for me not to worry about rent and just focus on school. The fact that money is involved and sėx is involved doesn't make it prostitution. Just like money's involved and sėx is involved in a marriage, and that certainly isn't prostitution. I would really want help with like, you know, rent, um, school. I mean, what've your other past, um, you know, sugar babies gotten from you? Well, um, pretty much what they wanted, um. So, whatever they asked for. Well, it's hard for me to say no to someone that I care about deeply, right? Right. When you look at it genetically speaking, men tend to look for women who are attractive. And you look at what's genetically programmed in women, they tend to look for men who have wealth and generosity. Yeah but besides that, I mean, short-term needs, um, cell phone, um, insurance. That's it. So by using those concepts and applying it to a dating website, you can very quickly see the results. So, what are you looking for as far as like, sėxuȧŀly? I mean, obviously, we have a connection. Yeah, I mean, I could totally get into you. [Laughs] No problem whatsoever. I could definitely bend you over and have some fun. Okay, thank you. So if that's a commitment that you willing to make, then I think we can make it work. Okay. Throughout history, women have sought out guys that have been successful. It works for me. They enjoy it, you know, pampering people and spoiling people, and I enjoyed being pampered and spoiled. And I do believe in love, and, you know, I-I want to find all that someday. But, why not enjoy my youth and my looks while I can? And while earthly expressions of greed, are good for some people, for others, pursuit of wealth is best left to a higher power. For me, money's always been easy. I've just paid attention to success and abundance and how to create it. There are spiritual principles that you can use immediately. Connecting to opulence is just really opening yourself to what God is. Opulence is the essence of spirit. God doesn't have opulence, God is opulence. We're talking about and sharing the spiritual laws that can bring riches. The prosperity principles outlined in. Scripture are timeless. And the use of spiritual principle and the use of spiritual law are the tools that you use to connect with spirit to release opulence into your life. [Conversation] We're going to begin with an opening prayer and we want to move into the, um, living room. It's kind of full to overflowing tonight by divine order, so, let's move into the living room and start our class. Wealth consciousness can be created by hanging out with wealthy people. But, the number one way is, really, prayer. Jesus said, "go into that inner closet and" shut the door and pray to The Father in secret. "And The Father seeing in secret shall recompense thee openly. " Openly, meaning flow abundance into your life and bless you. [Music] Begin each day with the prayer for unexpected income which is in the brochure. The power of Christ's presence within me now, opens my mind, heart and life to the all-providing spiritual substance of God. Of course God wants us to be prosperous. Otherwise, he wouldn't put it in front of us. My prosperity is ȧssured, and it flows me from all sources, expected and unexpected. It's not always money. It's, um, a major discount on something. Oh, we can do this, we can upgrade you to a better room. I have unbounded faith in the spiritual law of increase, multiplying the good in my life. Anybody who is having financial problems can find a way out. Thank you, God. Everything can be a prosperity principle. There's a law of divine compensation, that as I give, so shall I receive. There's a law of give a little extra. If one of us has to do a little more giving, it's called giving a little extra to jumpstart or activate the flow of goodness coming back. And people are encouraged to give a tenth right off the top of gross, not net income, but, you give a tenth of all that you receive in your life, you give back to a place where you feel spiritually fed. If you want your money back guarantee, then you'll have to tithe it to the church. And then our chaplains will be unfolding you in prayers of abundance every day for 30 days. And we'll send your name to our world prayer ministry. And they'll be praying for you also, for your abundance for the next 30 days. As it says in Second Corinthians, God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance. Do you believe it? Absolutely, he wants you to be prosperous. He wants you to have anything that you can imagine. To allow yourself to expect the goodness of God in your life. I definitely think through God, I can become more prosperous. To expect the doors of opportunity to open for you. God definitely wants us to be prosperous. Money makes you more of who you are. To expect to excel in your career. Opulence is a part of God. It's wonderful to receive material things. We teach people the power of tithing. Because when you're flowing 10% out to God's work, you're blessed enormously. You're blessed enormously. The idea that the minister should be poor- How can I teach you about the abundance of spirit if I'm living in poverty? I'm living the principles, they've worked in my life. And I can pull you along to help grow you in that consciousness. But if you're not putting anything in circulation, then there's nothing coming back for you. You can't get something for nothing. Spiritual law is very exact. You get nothing for nothing. And until you begin to move toward off of that nothingness, it's harder to prosper. Opulence, extravagance, unparalleled wealth. But what's truly more satisfying, the trophy, or the hunt? You get out there and it is dead quiet. There's no noise. The sun starts coming up, the bird start chirping. You'll start hearing crickets crick. So it goes from a real quiet, to where it's a real busy nature, coming to life, in the mornings. I love the outdoors. It's the peace and quiet. Being able to see the earth wake up in the morning and the sun go down in the evening. There's nothing better than that. It's clean. It's clear. You know, you're out in the- in the sun and the stars in the sky. The wildlife that we have is just such a gift to us. I love just to be outdoors with the animals. Just watching their behavior towards one another. There's a lot of animals here that are endangered. They're really magnificent, beautiful, beautiful creatures. We'll get you settled in. Get ready for some hunting. Check out the Lodge. Where you'll be staying this week, in your hunt. We have a lot of hunters that can't quite block out 14 to 21 days to fly to Africa. So, they come to Texas and do a, what we call a Texas Safari. Charlie, this is the room you're gonna stay in during your stay and, uh, hope it meets your needs. It's nice and roomy. Usually over a period of about four days, we can harvest probably just about as many animals as you can in Africa over two weeks. The average hunt's about $3,000, depending on the species you're wanting to hunt. They range as high as $20,000 hunts, or more. The boar hunts would run $600 a person. We have an ostrich on the ranch. They're usually 2,000. Blackbuck's 25. Elk's start 25 and up. Aoudads start at 2,750. A Scimitar start at 3,000. Fallow Deer start at 35. Water Buffalo, the cow's 2,500, but we'll start at 3,500. Bison start at 2,500 and give as high as 5,500 depending on the trophy quality. Everything on the ranch is for sale. Jalapeño and cheese treat. Now you're talking. You may come here and hunt for a species. And you can pick the one that you think looks the best to you and that you may want to, you know, put on your wall or have as a mount that you can admire for years to come, and that's that particular one that-that you hunt. In Texas, we use a few different tactics to draw the animals into a hunting area. We either put some corn out or we'll hunt over a corn feeder. About 99% of our hunts are shot opportunity hunts. You will get a shot opportunity. Can't guarantee you're going to shoot and kill the trophy that you're looking for. Practice makes perfect. Let's see how everybody's rifle's shooting today and- All right. Get that off the to-do list. When hunters arrive, we ȧssist them if they need it to shoot the rifle. [Rifle shot] That's it. We try to check out the place. Ready? Let's go. MMK definitely does make it more convenient. The high fence is there to keep the game on your ranch. We're here to encourage the hunting, we don't want to discourage the hunting. You know, feeders, there's pros and cons to feeders, you know, because of a lot of people look at feeders as being baiting. Those feeders go off and boom, they all come barreling in. They're waiting for that sound. Yep. Programmed. Within a couple hours we'll head for the blind. Once we get set up, we sit and wait for the exotics to show up. [Rifle shot] [Music] 99. 9 times out of 100, I'm going to kill what I pulled the trigger on. So, I mean it's a great feeling. It's dead, you know, and it's mine. And now, I can put it on the wall or I can do whatever I want to do with it. You walk in, you look up at the animal, and it brings back that exciting time that you had in the field when you hunted it. [Music] It is kind of like a menu. If you're looking for a certain antler size or a certain quality of antlers. You know, they can kind of tailor the hunt to your needs. [Chainsaw] Greed, such a heavy burden for such stationary rewards. But hey, if you're going to sin, you might as well do it in style. But, who am I to judge? Until next time.
