Chapter 169 - The Beast Wakes Up

I snuggled into my body pillow as the sun's rays slowly drifted into the room and shined in my eyes. I let out a hmpf in indignation at the sunrise. The sun's rays made my head throb in pain. Who dared leave my curtain open so that the sun would come in?

I muttered under my breath, "Stupid sun and its stupid bright sunshine."

Eh? What am I getting angry for? Last night was amazing!

I giggled happily and snuggled my body pillow, "I had such a wonderful dream last night. I was actually strong enough to push Dante down and have my way with him.... Truly wonderful."

"It wasn't a dream."

I clicked my tongue, "Well it certainly wasn't a nightmare."

My eyes snapped open. Body pillows... Don't talk.... I slowly looked up and saw haunting golden eyes staring at me.

"..."

"..."

I closed my eyes, "I guess I'm still dreaming. For a second I thought I was spooning Dante instead of my body pillow..."

"It's not a dream."

"EEK!" I jumped off of him and fell off the bed. I landed on the floor with my legs laying against the bed. I frowned as I stared at the ceiling.

Just what happened last night?! I remember drinking with Lucius... Then it kind of becomes a blur.... But in my dream I... Oh. My. God.

Did I f*ck Dante last night?!

I sat up in a panic and saw Dante staring at me, propping his head up with his arm. His shirt was torn open and he was covered in hickeys and bite marks. I gulped at his appearance. He looked so unbelievably handsome in that pose. He looked just like a male model for an expensive jean store.

Wait! No! Don't get distracted Seri!

I blushed and looked away. I stuttered, "W-Was I at least good?"

He raised an eyebrow, "Good?"

I blushed more as I fiddled with my fingers nervously, "You know... Good at... That..." I made a suggestive motion with my fingers.

"..."

Seeing Dante's face darkened I fell into despair. I gasped, "Was I really that bad!?"

He chuckled seeing my expression. He patted the bed, "Don't feel bad, we can try again. Practice makes perfect."

I shrieked in embarrassment, "N-No way!!"

Dante forced a pitiful expression, "So you're just going to take my chastity and run away?"

"C-CHASTITY?!"

Dante held his forehead in a dramatic fashion, "You held me down and forced yourself on me. You even bit me all over and said that I belong to you."

I blushed from embarrassment. Since he reminded me, I could remember everything I had done to him the night before.

He sighed, "You really were like a rabid dog. My body still hurts. Will I even be able to walk today?"

"GAAH!" Unable to take it anymore, I started throwing pillows at him. When I ran out, I started smacking him out of embarrassment. "Stop acting like you're a pure hearted maiden!!!"

Dante chuckled and grabbed my wrists, stopping me. I puffed my cheeks out at his smirking face. His tone was a little hopeful, "I didn't dislike it. Perhaps we could do it again?"

"No." I stated bluntly.

How could I do something so embarrassing again?!

A flash of disappointment went through Dante's eyes.

I sobbed and covered my eyes, "I can't believe I have such low alcohol tolerance!! But how did I end up in bed with you?! In the past, whenever I was drunk out of my mind I at least never had a one night stand! Hell! I was still a virgin!! WAAH! Back then all I ever did was dance on tables and try to get in fist fights! What happened to me?!"

Dante listened to me as I panicked. He smirked in amusement, taking delight in my reaction.

I sniffed and used my dress sleeve to wipe my nose. I paused, "Wait... If we slept together, then why am I still in my clothes?" I pulled my dress up and frowned, "I'm still wearing my underwear too..."

Dante's ears turned red at my sudden action and looked away.

I looked at him and frowned, "You're still in your clothes too..." At the sight of his delicious chest I added, "Even though your shirt is a bit ripped..."

He muttered, "You're just now noticing this?"

I gasped, "So either we are extremely freaky or we didn't actually experience bliss together."

"..."

I put my hands on my hips, "Dante?"

He shrugged with an indifferent expression, "You only attacked me, bit me, and kissed me. We didn't go further."

Yaay! I still have my innocence!!!

I frowned at him, "You're sadistic for teasing me."

He looked at me apathetically. I sighed and stood up and looked around the room. It certainly looked... Damaged... Wait. Is that a giant a** wardrobe in front of the door?

I glanced at him, "Just what happened last night?"

Dante summarized quickly, "You and Lucius had a drinking contest. Then you both caused trouble. So I carried you back to the room where you held me hostage all night."

"Haah? Hostage? You make it seem like it was a bad thing."

He massaged his arm, "You made my arm fall asleep."

I groaned and rubbed my temples to get rid of my massive headache. I seriously hate hangovers.

Now that he reminds me... I do remember breaking out of the room and... Oh, my god. I need to apologize to Millie.

Dante spoke, "You also said something very interesting..."

I raised an eyebrow, "Oh? Like what?"

Dante spoke calmly, "You said you were from another world and that you were murdered. You also mentioned that you transmigrated into the body of 5 year old Seri."

My face turned pale.

I did WHAT?! What the hell was my drunk self thinking?! WHY WOULD I TELL ANYONE THAT?!

Come on acting skills!!! I need you now more than ever!

I forced on a smile and chuckled naturally, "Did you really believe that? What nonsense. Only a crazy person would actually believe something like that. Naturally I was just discussing an idea for a novel."

He stared at me with unwavering eyes, "I did think it was a bit strange and hard to believe... But it would make a lot of sense. You knew things you possibly couldn't as a 5 year old."

I flipped my hair, "I knew those things because I was a genius."

I turned around quickly and looked at the door that was covered by the wardrobe. I needed to escape quickly. I went to it and began to push on it, but it wouldn't even budge.

I clicked my tongue, "What is this?! Mahogany?!?"

"Leia."

"What?" I answered sharply while still looking at the wardrobe blocking the door.

I froze and broke out into a cold sweat. I could hear Dante's chilling laughter behind me. I looked at him with a pale face.

F*ck.

Why did I just answer to that?!

I gulped, "W-Who is Leia?"

He pointed at me.

Double f*ck.

I started slapping my mouth. I really hate this mouth of mine sometimes. Dante stood up and walked over to me. He grabbed my hand, preventing me from smacking myself. His fingers intertwined with mine as he looked deeply into my eyes. He bent down and gave me with a dashing smile. My face blushed from the proximity of his face to mine.

Triple F*ck. Why does this real smile of his make me weak in the knees?

He spoke in a low voice, "Should I call you Leia or Seri?"

I watched his adams apple bob and gulped trying to refrain from biting it. I answered still distracted by it, "S-Seri is best. I've more or less become her now."

He chuckled, "So you admit it?"

F*CK YOUR MOTHER!!!!

Why did I just admit to it!?! Why didn't I deny it?! Curse this mouth of mine!!! I opened my mouth to deny my last words when hurried knocking suddenly sounded at the door. We both got quiet and turned towards the door.

My father's voice bellowed, "SERI! ARE YOU ALIVE IN THERE?! THE DOOR WON'T OPEN!"

I want to cry. I quickly covered Dante's mouth, "Yes!!! I'm fine! Stop shouting! I have a headache!"

"I'M GOING TO HAVE BERTRAM KNOCK DOWN THE DOOR!"

"GIVE ME A SECOND!" I shouted back.

I looked at Dante in a panic and whispered urgently, "You have to hide! My dad is going to kill you if he finds you!"

Or rather, you will probably kill him in self defense. And that's definitely not the preferred ending.

I sobbed mentally, "And my mother is going to kill ME after that!!!"

Dante nodded in agreement and I had him quickly move the wardrobe, then he hid in it. I covered him up expertly and gave him a thumbs up.

I heard my father shout, "IS DANTE IN THERE?!"

I shut the wardrobe door quietly and shouted back, "What?! No! Why would you think that?!"

Should I just jump out of the window and run away again?

My father shouted, "He mysteriously disappeared right around the same time you did!! Did he force himself on you?! THAT D*MNED WOLF!"

There's no way I could admit that I was actually the one who attacked Dante.

I replied feeling a bit guilty, "NO HE DIDN'T! He probably just left the party and was walking around outside! You know he doesn't love parties!!!"

"BUT HE LOVES MY DAUGHTER!"

Eh?

I blushed, "DADDY! SHUT UP! He didn't do a thing! Bertram was at my door all night! He was the one who brought me to my room! He can attest to my innocence!"

On the other side of the door, my father looked at Bertram who stood next to him. Bertram forced a smile and nodded. He then looked away and cursed Seri silently for using him as a scapegoat. He fully knew that Seri was lying. Which could only mean that Dante was actually in the room.

Bertram sighed and thought to himself, "I'm too old for this..."

My father banged on the door, "Bertram's going to break the door down unless you open it!"

Bertram looked at him with an expression that said: Why me?

I suddenly opened the door and looked at my father with a frown. I shouted, "FATHER I'M HUNGOVER! GO HOME!"

My father ignored my shouting and looked around the room. Determining that it was empty, he grinned ear to ear. "Darling! Did you have fun last night? Wasn't the whiskey from my company amazing?"

I felt slightly nauseous at the thought of whiskey, "Yes daddy... It was amazing..."

"OH?! IT WAS, WAS IT?!"

All three of us jumped and turned around to see my mother glaring at me with an incredibly enraged expression. I yelped and jumped behind my father, "Daddy was the one who gave it to me!!"

He yelped, "Don't bring me into this!!!"

My mother put her hands on her hips as she looked at us with a frightening expression. My father and Bertram shook slightly and held on to each other. She truly was quite scary when she was angry.

She spoke in a very controlled, but angry, tone. "Today you're going out with Lona, Queen Luna, and I for breakfast."

I wanted to puke at the thought. I whined, "But mooother... I'm too hungover... I'm not going..."

She growled, "You're coming even if I have to pull you by the ear."

I pouted trying to look cute, "But mother..."

Her glare increased, "So you think you can disobey your mother, get wasted, force Prince William to cover for you and get away with it? Nope! Now you're going to reap what you sow."

I put on a pitiful expression, "But mother... My head hurts too much... I really should sleep in..."

Her face turned tender, "Aw... My poor baby... I guess if you don't feel good, then you shouldn't come."

My face lit up, "Really?"

"NO!" She shouted as she grabbed my arm and started pulling me away.

I screamed for help as my mother dragged me away. Bertram and my father silently lit a candle for me.
