10 Ch. 7.3 The Resul

"Before you started, Lylia and Seren. Both of you can only use a wooden sword for this match. Since this is just an unofficial battle, we don't need the real sword. Take this both of you." Said Luc-chan while lending us the wooden sword.

"Alright. It's been a long time I didn't use the wooden sword." I said it as I really didn't touch the wooden sword for one month.

"Good, for protection I'll use this." Said the maniac queen.

"That's all. All of you can start whenever you're ready. But, once I said to stop, you're not allowed to continue the match anymore. Moreover, this match only just to show how tough you've become. Winning or losing in this match are not counted."

"Understand!!!." We responded back as we understand the instruction.

Then, we get prepared on the field. Surprisingly, this is the first time I didn't get nervous. Plus, I feel like I'm confident and in the best condition ever. This might be the outcome from our daily training. The same goes for everyone. They all have the same expression as they're ready to start the match. When everyone is ready, we already begin the match by watching and wait for their movement. Raph-chan seems more confident than ever while her partner Seren are quite cautious of our motions. When nobody wants to proceed, I decided to charge to their area just to get closed to them and predict their next move. However, seeing Raph-chan beside Seren makes me think twice before decides to charge or not.

Whether she'll protect Seren or not, I still stick to my instinct and when I'm about to charge to them, Seren also do the similar thing. It means she also thinks just like me. Well, the match will be more tense than our match before in the exam. Both of us charging directly into each other. Of course both of us don't want to be the first one to get hit so, both of us already make a contact between the wooden swords.

At first, I had planned when the first hit of our sword has made the contact I'll have to move faster than Seren and hit the vital point if her body. However, she seems like she could foresee my move as she stepped aside and blast an attack from the right side. I saw that coming and countering it using my speed and hit her wooden sword again to reduce some damage. At the same time I almost forgot about Raph-chan. But I noticed that she already marked Layla as her opponent. So, I think I should continue to fight against this maniac queen.

Layla who is still relaxed and wait for Raph-chan to move first. But none of them are fearless enough to move closer. So, they begin to shoot from afar to test each other's magic. While fighting against Seren here, she still didn't show her furious move yet. She still can hold up my movement. Then I take a step back and, clutch tightly to my wooden sword. I think I'll need to give her some heavy hit because I just use half of my strength just now to see whether she could handle it or not. But every time I change my pattern style, she just keeps reading my movement.

After taking a step back for a while, I focus my strength into my feet to charging towards Seren. I didn't let my eyes off from Seren and then I blink as fast as the lightning. She shielded herself with the wooden sword but I directly hit her wooden sword with my full strength. A hurricane wind was blown out around us as I just hit the blow onto Seren. Seren was blown away by my heavy hit. She seems surprised to my strength. I also shocked about my strike just now. Is this the outcome from our hell training. But I still didn't use my full power against Seren. Seren's hands were shaking as she was the one who receives the damage even though she fends off the attack. Even Layla and Raph-chan also heard the attack's outbreak sound it makes. Yet they are still fighting.

"What a tremendous power you behold there Lylia." said the maniac queen(Seren)

Seren charging towards me unexpectedly even though she saw my massive hit just now. Well, she never know fear I guess. She keeps reading me and repel all my strike. After a moment, I just realize that Seren didn't actually repel my attack up until just now. She's genius, she actually, canceling my heavy blow. You can see that every time she saw I raised up my wooden sword a little higher, she'll aim at the weakness spots of the wooden sword. Where there's a part near the handle area.

She purposely aimed for that area and that's why I can't hit some heavy blow on her. I then blink randomly. A bit far away from her. I need some time to make my strategy again.  While on the other side, Layla seems to have a hard time battling with Raph-chan. Raph-chan is getting close to Layla while Layla being pushed away from the place she's standing. Raph-chan keep running instantly to get closed to Layla. Layla was forced to use her [ZERO ZONE]. But the brilliant Raph-chan sees it coming then she jumps to the air quickly. That's the critical time for Layla. She released the Zero zone that she just generate and now she aimed at the air where Raph-chan. At the same time Raph-chan shoots several flame arrow and Layla shows her new variation skills. It was [ZERO AIR].

Her new skill really is something that terminating the opponent's attack which is about to be launched. Raph-chan's arrow falls down to the ground like they were bumped by a heavy pressure. Raph-chan also surprised about how troublesome the skill is. So, Raph-chan spinned her body in the air while landed to the ground as a ton of ice arrow being launched from her body to strike the guardless Layla. Raph-chan still doesn't want to lose her opponent easily. When it was an emergency, Layla summoned her servant quickly. It appears from below the ground as a big sparkle circle appeared on it.

There're nine tails of a white fox. It is so big and the size are indescribable. The white fox appeared and withstand the ice arrow which should be aimed at Layla. That gigantic fierce creature is an ancient nine tail white female fox has now protecting Layla. Its body is hardened than the gigantic rock we used to train the other day. As the white fox attack Raph-chan, she remains calm in that situation even though there is a beast. Layla named the fox, Carla. When Raph-chan is a little further than Layla she also summoned her servant, that she called it Quadra. The scene shows an epic war. The white nine tail fox is fighting tremendously with the black four headed dragon. They are shaking the ground. Now we are in a terrible match. We fought at a very fast pace. The sound of the sword echoes every time we fight, the roar of the servant grows.

Back to where I fight Seren, I had decided to risk my opportunity using a wooden sword where I'll charge rapidly to Seren again. But this time is different. I put a little mana into the wooden sword to make it a little heavier and hit harder than before. BOoooom. When I hit Seren's wooden sword, this time she absolutely had no idea how massive it is. She was thrown fly further behind. The ground shaking and the wind has blown up as I hit it with my full strength. Even Layla and Raph-chan could feel the insane pressure I just blow. Seren seems like she's going to change into her Amon Rage because that hit really pissed her off. While Seren is still far away because of my hit, I run to assist Layla as I want to get near to Raph-chan. But Raph-chan was amazing. She's also ready to fight 2 on 1.

She come to me and without hesitation I swing my wooden sword . What's more amazing she moves randomly, it makes me confusing for a while. Just now I missed my attack. Raph-chan takes the opportunity where I let my guard off just a second. She slips through and blinks out of the flash speed. It happened just in a blink of an eye. Her battle style sure is changing a lot. Usually, Raph-chan will never get close to her opponent because she's weak when it comes to a combat close. I was mistaken that I thought she's still the same as before. Raph-chan cast a spell right in front of me. We can't make it in time to run anymore. Even Layla can't do when she's busy fighting the Quadra. Heh, what to expect, they're fantastic. Then, booom!!! I just cover my body using the wooden sword.

Raph-chan release a WHITE RAY which makes her opponent blind with white light. That's a troublesome for me, because I was blinded by the brightest light.  I've no idea where Raph-chan are but what I knew is she already hit me bluntly. I can't barely move from my position. I think I have to take the damage for a while. At least Raph-chan busy attacking me while I give some time for Layla finished the 4 headed dragon or I mean the Quadra.

At the same time, the anger aura comes out from afar. That incredible power released from a tiny body maniac queen(Seren). She walks towards me as she devil's laughed. Her eyes stare sharped at me, red aura glowing up from her body, her expression revealed the intense of murder. Layla notice about that, and she surprised by the look of Seren. Layla had no idea that short-tempered Seren had become this powerful.

When I regain my sight back I quickly land a hit around me as I swing my wooden sword circling where I stand. I had a little scratch on my face and some of my body. But I barely still can stand and keep fight. Raph-chan retreat immediately after I blow a hit around me. It makes a hurricane slashing when I swing the wooden sword just now. No wonder Raph-chan retreat after seeing that deadly slash.  Layla wanted to regroup with me, but she can't. She can't let go off the gigantic four headed dragon. Who else could predict Raph-chan's next move? She always has some sleeve to resist against us.

The fight between servant is a really gorgeous view, but they're terrified. Anyone who interrupt their battle absolutely will die first. On the other hand, Seren's appearance changes as she is powering up. She is already in her mode AMON RAGE. Seren charging towards me, like I can do anything else but must fight her directly. Her hits become heavier than before. So, this is her result from the training. She even knew where I expect to land the hit on her as she keeps countering my attack ragingly. She even looked at me in anger. But, I think that's one of the effects of an Amon Rage user.

Seeing she on this state, I am urgently increasing my speed attack as my attack getting heavy. She's now having a hard time with the speed. However, all of us in the battlefield stunned by the power that released from Seren. Moreover, she can now keep her Amon Rage for a long battle. Luc-chan who's standing not too far from us shows his usual gloomy face. He didn't even worry about someone might be hurt or being kill. Yet he still observing us from where he stands.

Seren who's once again being forced by my speed attack and heavy hit, no ordinary eye could catch the speed of our wooden swords are slashed. But it makes the sounds of the sword hitting each other. At the same time, Raph-chan again find a way to get close to Layla. Raph-chan never take easy of her opponent as she keeps shooting while running. She sure had a lot of mana. Layla is having a hard time controlling her servant and to protect herself. The two gigantic beasts finally fade away as Layla and Raph-chan have reached their limit. They hardly breathe but still have the will to stand and fight. Well, I should focus on Seren now. She suddenly land quite heavy hit and it is damaging a little of my wooden sword. And I was blown away. Luckily, I landed safely and stand still on my sword fighting pose. That ragingly Seren is now geared up again. What the hell is that!!!

"Amazing.."I said this with my lower voice as I amazed she still have her trump card.

I thought she already used her trump card which she was transformed into her Amon Rage form. But this time is totally different. She sounded like she obtains something more destruction. Seren is shouting while she's transforming in her new mode of Amon Rage. The ground that she stepped on break apart as she transforms. The rage is becoming furious. Raph-chan who's still fighting Layla also can feel the monstrous power glowing up. Red aura comes from Seren's body become dark red, and she has powered up her Amon Rage which she named it [AMON REVENGE MODE].

She double up her strength, speed, instinct,magic and her body equipped an armor. She'snow on a different level from all of us. Luc-chan still didn't stop us and continue observing. Seren come to me with a ridiculous speed attack. I can't see where she was hit. But, the only thing I noticed that I received more damage already as my face and my body wounded. I can't do anything when she's attacking me because I can't even see Seren. My attack also useless since I can't see her movement clearly. I wanted to call Layla for help but I ….I'm afraid I just got in her way battling against Raph-chan.

I was being hit by the speed of an unpredictable strike by Seren. She's totally cornered me at that time. Suddenly, I feel something pushing my back and I fall down to the ground. The same goes for Seren. She didn't know what's happened exactly. It was Layla spell. She's trying to help me, but she also had to use her magic on me. That's a life safe from Layla.

"Are you alright Lylia????!!! I'm sorry you also get the effect of my Zero Zone." She's asking me while I was on the ground and apologize to me.

"I'm having a little hard time to fight against the new Seren I supposed….ca….can you heal my wound? I feel hurts now..?"

"I'm sorry I'll heal you now and released you."

Layla quickly heals me and released her stunning magic. That maniac queen raise quickly and decided to finish Layla first as she saw me and Layla regroup again. Raph-chan was the one who cornered Layla near to me. I guess I can call that was a coincidence. I also stand up and with my full strength I protect Layla by defending her with my full strength. That's when Seren hit my sword. The clash of our wooden sword makes the ground break apart. That heavy slashed from Seren plus her new Amon Rage mode is barely battling with just my ordinary form.

I've trained my body this decisive. I can't let her touch Layla. Seren look at me at get irritated by my action. She also mad that I can withstand with her strength and her speed. Actually, it is impossible for an ordinary human to survive from her Amon Rage. Thanks to Luc-chan, I strengthen my physical strength to the level where no one would believe it's beyond human resistance. Hmmm, you see training with Luc-chan make me into this strong, yet I still can't beat Luc-chan. But, least the training shows some results in this battlefield. At that moment, everyone reached their limit and all of us seems to get ready to launch our finishing blow except for Layla.

"Lylia, lets ended this match quickly. I'll give you a lot of magic and increase your capabilities. So, please protect me as I chant this magic. It required me to stand still and let no one bother me."

"Okay. Let's do this." I replied in high hopes of her magic.

Raph-chan again summon her servant. She really is a troublesome opponent. Even though she already used a lot of mana, yet she still could fight. This is fearsome power from her. The dragon seems to make a big dark power in their mouth. They absorb power from their surrounding. Seren charges her wooden sword into the most heavy damage she will blow later. Raging aura still glowing up from her. She also my new rival. Layla chanted a mega spell which the whole battlefield is her range.

She called it [PARADISE GATE]. A big circle spell appears on the ground which we all stand on it. It increases my strength, magic, speed, and it even heals me up. I'm now on my full potential to hit some finishing blow. Now, I'm focusing my mana into the wooden sword as I readily stand on my charging pose while Layla keeps holding on her Paradise Gate. The magic of Layla sure is the first class of supporter most powerful magic. From Luc-chan point of view, he saw a tremendous fight between heroes. It's so gorgeous. Beautiful war and an epic view. But we are now on our finishing blow. Suddenly,...

"[ABSOLUTE CANCEL]"

Everyone's power disappear and the atmosphere change quickly into a sorrowful view. Some part of the ground is broken apart by our damage in the battle. All of us were shocked by the situation. Our skill, magic, and the spell was canceled that easily.

"Girls stop right there. You're doing great already. Let's go home for now. It's getting late, we should go home and eat dinner now."

"hey, what's happened just now?" asked the wonder Seren. She also feels weird.

"Ehhh, is it maou-sama doing?" Raph-chan said.

"My magic…" Layla who's still in her confused state about what happened just now.

Suddenly, I remembered the magic that Luc-chan told me when he used his magic to cancel the villain power. If I recall it, he said something about Absolute Cancel. I'm sure Luc-chan was using his power just now to stop us. That's power of him is one of the fearsome. That's a forbidden power. Anyways we rushed to Luc-chan. Then Luc-chan brings us back to the house by his teleport magic.

"Waaauu, maou-sama your teleport magic is cool. We could go anywhere we want in just an instant."

"Anyways Luc-chan, the place you bring us just now, what was it again?"

"They once called the place The Happy Land because people live there a long time ago where there were no war and a peaceful place. But after a hundred of years human lives nomadly, the place is being forgotten. No one ever goes there after that. Now, people called it the Land Of Sorrow. Actually, it's a good place to train there, because there's no one live there any more even animals are hardly to be seen."

"I see. That was an abandoned place."

"Alright now stop the chit-chat over here and go take some shower. Or else I'll help you wash your body."

All of us forget what happened then when that pervert Luc-chan treats us badly. Then all of us take a shower and get some new clothes. As usual, after washing our dirty clothing, Luc-chan prepared us for some dinner. All of us rushed downstairs when he called for me.

"That's right, I almost forgot about that. Ahhh it's been 2 months in that time we were first training."

"errr, stop your joke Seren. It seems like ordinary people can't fight you easily now, I really hope you could maintain your fighting style. If you could, don't reveal Amon Rage that easily even though you're now could maintain your mana. Only an advice that, keep strengthen your body. Let your Amon Rage become more resistant to any damage."

"For Layla. You're doing great out there. You really train as I had told you and you even created the Zero Zone in the air. That's a supporter for you. Furthermore, you're helping your teammates, that's amazing that you never abandon her. However, I suggest you learned a close combat fighting style. Because you could see how troublesome you have to deal with someone like Raphtalia right. So, that's all. Just keep up with it."

"Understand maou-sama." said Layla.

"As for Raphtalia, you improve more than the others. You can fight in a close range and move even faster. You're also smart in handling your servant and attack your opponent at the same time. I hope you could train yourself to be more competitive as Seren. You must not just depends on your shooting magic. Physical also important as you can see how Lylia is."

"Understand and thank you very much maou-sama!!" said the high spirit Raph-chan.

"Lylia also improve a lot than before. She's more intelligent and quite fast on decided something. But, you should trust and rely on your teammates also. Not to handle all the burden into yourself. Your physical are now at the same power as the Amon Rage. Yet you could barely withstand with it. That's enough to knock down an Eiryuu easily. Well, there's nothing I have to tell you since you'll always train with me even after you got home from school."

"Hmmmm, guess that's a little compliment from Luc-chan."

"AHHAHAHHA,…" all of us ended our day happily.

We've become stronger and there's 1-month left to the Rank Event tournament. That night I can't sleep well. So, I alone walk downstairs and get some water to drink. All my friends already sleep peacefully at that time. Only me and Luc-chan in the kitchen having some peace conversation.

"Luc-chan."

"Yes?"

"I want you to tell me all the story you know about my family as you promised me 1 month ago."

"ahhh, I never forget that promise I made. Guess it's time to tell you the truth. Maybe you'll hate me after hearing the story."

That night Luc-chan told me a whole story about who he is and how he met my mother. He told me he once an angel and.....

"Oh my, I'm surprise that you didn't think I was the one whose evil here?"Lic-chan replied.

"Mom, still going after you even though she has left you a long time ago. I believe mom also thinks you're a nice person."

Luc-chan hugged me tightly. He has a warm body which can over calm me. My little head was under his chin where his chin resting on my head.

"They once said, hugging someone will be able to calm their hearts….and I believe what they said. Luna and Lamia once had hugged me when I feel depressed and their hugged really heartwarming. I feel safe when I was on their side."

Actually I also feel the same when Luc-chan hugged me.

"Luc-chan..sob sob.."I asked while I still on Luc-chan's chest cried a little.

"Yes?"

"Mom….is…is she pretty back then?"

"Ahhh, she's real pretty among all the woman I ever seen. She has the strongest heart than any other humans have."

That night feel with an emotional scent. The secret that Luc-chan keeps from me is now revealed. I finally know that I once had a family too. I wanted to see my mom if she's still alive. Maybe, that's god plan. I'm grateful to have Luc-chan. Mom, thank you that you let Luc-chan take care of me. I wanted to be stronger like you. Mom, he's so strong and dependable, even though he's a little pervert I can say. However, that's what makes I never bored having him. I wanted to become like the two of you...and without realizing I fall asleep on Luc-chan. Apparently, he was the one who picked me up and took me to my bed.

In the next month, we all wake up and train. All of us train back the first training we have failed. Again, Layla and Raph-chan casting a spell in the flowing hard river while Seren and I put on two wooden sword and hit the marks on the boulder. As we failed to do it, we have to do the punishment as well. Layla and Raph-chan get punished to put water on a pair of buckets and took it to run to the house and get back there. While the same goes for us where we have to chop 20 blocks of wood using the heavy ax.

However, we get used to it. And within this 1 month left, we already improve a lot. Now, we're ready to enter the Rank Event tournament. Seren will enter the tournament as a party with her gangs and the same goes to Layla. Well, for me, I always entered the tournament as a solo player and the same goes to Raph-chan.

The holiday has passed. So, here we are now in front of the gate of ...
