145 Fruitless Endeavor

Draig eventually found the Grave Forger in the depths of the valley and found the foolish person excitedly rummaging around taking any piece of scrap metal he could find. By his side Aoi was was struggling to walk with a number of the old Blades tied to her back like a mule.

"Aoi what are you slowing down for, don't you see all these treasures just laying here forgotten. We can't just let all these things go to waste" cried Ginji excitedly steam pouring from his nostrils like a bull as his eyes seemed to glimmer.

Draig watched from the side a bit disturbed as his opinion about this world being full of weirdos was only solidified by this scene.

'Perhaps I should be a bit more like my old self. . . .' thought the Feratu, it seemed to him that it was a good way to filter out the weirdos if he did so.

Sighing to himself he made his presence known to the Grave robbing duo.

"Ginji. . ." spoke Draig ominously as he stepped out of the shadows narrowing his gaze onto the Grave Forger.

Ginji seemed to freeze in place hearing that voice as he turned his head slowly with a guilty look upon his face.

"Heh heh heh, uh hi Draig. I was waiting for you but see you were taking so long I figured it would be best to get here before anyone else had any intentions of hoarding these things" chuckled Ginji as he instantly made an excuse.

"I see" answered Draig as he threw down a talisman and motioned for Aoi to put her load onto the paper.

Like magic the pile of swords were taken into the talisman as if they had never been there to begin with.

Next he threw down another one and motioned for Ginji to do the same, the Grave forger seemed reluctant at first which only seemed to prove the Feratu's thoughts.

'Dirty bastard was gonna hoard all the good stuff. . .' thought Draig as Ginji's pile was soon sealed up in a talisman before it flew into Draig's hands like magic.

"Can I borrow a couple of those" asked Ginji as he realized he would be able to gather all the blades laying dormant in the Valley.

"You like look you can handle it on your own" chuckled Draig as he decided to leave the valley causing the Hammer wielding duo to just stare in shock.

Draig meanwhile had other things on his mind, it was the thought of performing an act he hadn't done in the previous world but perhaps in this world it would prove more fruitful to his cause. He was the only Vampire, he boasted strength and speed beyond what normal creatures were capable of. This would add an allure to those he would choose if he did decide to do this.

'Create a coven. . .'

This was the thought that was currently running through Draig's head as he thought towards the future, he still had plans to bring down the Empire that had betrayed him due to their greed for the throne.

It was too difficult to train advanced ranked Deva but it would be easy to give them a slight advantage to go along with their mediocre skills, in his mind he believed this would act as a balancer to fight against his opponents in the future and would also act as a way to build his forces but then again did he want to even build a militant power as he had done before. . . .

It was too much to think about right now, in fact he still wasn't a hundred percent behind the idea of having a faction. It was too troublesome to interact with so many people, it would be easier if he simply maintained himself as a lone individual.

Sighing to himself he made a decision, he would denounce his involvement with this surprise faction. At least he would after they transferred all of the goods from this camp to his Dorm.

With a chuckle Draig went out and acted as if everything was normal and had a few people go and assist Ginji and Aoi in collecting the old Swords dumped in the valley with their Deva's remains.

The rest were commanded to carry the supplies to the Dorm that had become more akin to an estate than a place for boarding students.

Draig looked at the number of people marching and couldn't help but feel that it would be a bit disappointing to give up such a large number of people but he recalled that he did his best work by hi lonesome.

'Besides, I don't need hundreds of minions. I just need a few really strong ones. . . .' thought Draig as he returned with the main entourage of the soon to be dismantled faction.

Though as he thought about it he was certain there would be a few who would wish to see him disfigured due to the fact they had essentially dismantled their own dorms in order to build an HQ out of his Dorm.

This called for a bit of treachery on his part, he chuckled as he thought about it. It would prove useful if his plan came to fruition, he would be able to gain some profits while successfully dismantling his so called Faction.

Souta at the lead saw Draig was in a good mood and smiled to himself before falling in line next to the Feratu.

"Lord, it seems you are in a very good mood. I am happy that we could assist you in such a thing, but I do wonder what it is that has caused this" smiled Souta as he asked.

"Oh my dear Souta" started Draig deciding to speak as one of these freaks he encountered during his time here.

Souta hearing the lamenting tone to Draig's voice started to question the smile if his Lord was feeling depressed.

"It pleases me to see someone of your caliber but unfortunately the sight of the rest of these people are just too pitiful. It has caused me a great sense of shame that my teachings have been squandered on such pitiful people, thus I have been forced to think of a way to err this mistake. We can't let so many incompetent people join the faction like this, what would outsiders think if we just let them go out while representing this dear faction" complained Draig causing Souta to look at Draig in a tearful manner.

'The poor Lord, truly he must feel heart broken to see his efforts going to waste like this. I will admit that I too found the techinques and fighting spirit of these ignoratn Deva to be disgusting but to hear it from the Lord. . . . It must be corrected' thougth Souta as his heart seemingly went out to Draig's imaginary pain.

"Lord how do we fix this" asked Souta hoping to assist in the process.

"Don't worry Souta, I have already come up with a solution" spoke Draig as he hid his smirk.
