Chapter 6 - 6: Stats

{Yes finally!}

[Don't be too excited. It will take me a little bit to explain some of the stuff to you. Now that I have your attention, I would like you to take a look at the right of your vision. Do you see me?]

I took a look to the right and I noticed something on the outside of my vision, I adjusted my sight to the point to where I was able to look at her directly.

{Uhh. . . Yes I can finally see you. I didn't realize you could manifest yourself like that.}

[I can for a short while, just long enough to where I can explain everything to you. Now that you are able to actually see me, just follow me with just your vision and I'll explain the tools you've got in your vision.]

{Alrighty}

[So where I am right now, above me is your character screen to see how strong you currently are. As you can see, your stats are right below it also. Now you that you know that take a look at them and then blink.]

I did what she told me, and then when I opened my eyes, there was a stat menu right in front of my eyes.

{Huh. . . Didn't think there was that much stuff.}

[Haha. . . Indeed there is, and there is actually a lot more. But I can explain that to you later, it doesn't have to be today. Ok, so basically you are actually about to level. That slime earlier would of leveled you if it had been one of the bigger ones. Sadly, that one was considered a child version of slimes.]

{A child version?!?!}

[Yep, indeed. A child version. You can actually view their stats, but sadly that one hadn't been in this world for very long, so it didn't have any stats yet.]

{Oh wow. I didn't realize I would be able to actually view their stats to!}

[Yep! Now if you look over here to your left side, you would be able to see the. . . Hmm. . . Oh I know what to call them. I'm going to use a term from your world actually. This side will be your buffs and debuffs. Do you know what I mean by that?]

{Uhh. . . Yeah I do actually.}

[Alright, good! I won't have you take a look at the actual buffs and debuffs until you actually receive some. Now at the top of your vision, you will see North, East, South and West directions.]

{Umm. . . Actually I can't see it.}

[You can't??? Uhh. . . that is really weird. Hold on one moment please.]

So while I was waiting, I decided to walk over to the window and open it. I looked outside and saw the beautiful town from the second story building. When I glanced over to the left, I bȧrėly saw a person running on the rooftops at a very quick speed. I almost didn't see them. The was wearing something in all black and kept to the shadow side of the roofs.

'Huh, must be like a rogue or something. . .'

[Alright, well. . . that didn't go as planned.]

{Huh??. . . Oh you are back! Sorry, I was just staring out the window and saw something. What do you mean that didn't go as planned?}

[Well you were supposed to have a map at the top left corner of your vision, but sadly the mainframe didn't put one into your brain when I entered it. Oh well, it doesn't matter. We can always just get actual maps from this place instead.]

{Oh ok. So is that everything then?}

[HA!]

{YES! My god, do I look like I was joking about that??}

[Honestly, can't tell. Anyways, no we are not done yet. That was just your stats, now I've gotta show you the inventory.]

{Oh yeah! Which means the dragon egg too right??}

[Yes. Now I want you to think about the inventory. Picture something that has unlimited space inside of it, and you will be able to actually view the inside of your inventory in your vision.]

I did what she told me to, and spent a few minutes trying to think about the inventory. Sadly I was having issues doing it. I tried and I tried, but nothing was working. Then when I had almost given up, it finally popped up into my vision.

{My god that took forever. . .}

[Uh, yeah it did. Hmm. . . Maybe you are getting tired. I think you should take a rest after I finish explaining everything to you.]

{Hmm. . . I think you are right. I actually do feel really tired all of a sudden.}

[Alright, I'll dumb down this next explantion to you that way you can lay down quicker that way. Anyways, this is your inventory. As you can see, it doesn't have a lot of stuff in it. It has money, the egg, some extra clothes, and a few torches. You currently have 5 silver right now. Can you see that?]

{Yes I can see it, but I do have a question about the money. Actually two questions. First question is, how did I even get the money, and the second question is, is there any way I could input the money into my main vision that way I can know exactly how much I've got at all times without having to open up the inventory?}

[Ok, for your first question. You automatically start out with 1 gold, but I ended up splitting it up into 10 silver and had you pay the waitress for this room. Now for your second question. . . Hmm. . . It would seem you are actually able to input the amount you have into your main vision to where you can see it at all times. Give me a moment to figure out how. . . . . . Ok. I've got it on your main vision now.]

{Awesome! Thank you very much, that will help out quite a bit actually.}

[Yes it will, and hopefully we can acquire a lot more money soon! Now, the amount of money you are actually able to obtain depends on what you do in this world, from quests, selling items, doing dungeons, and killing stuff in the world. Now it is time for your egg. I want you to think about the egg appearing in your hands.]

I did what she told me, and it took me just a moment to actually have the egg appear in my hands. The problem though was the fact the egg actually weighed quite a bit, and I almost dropped it on the floor. I was able to bear hug it, and fell onto the bed with it.

{You could of told me it weighed so freaking much!}

[Oh, yeah sorry. I forgot your strength is actually low. Anyways, now that the egg is out, it will hatch soon. Actually it should be hatching here in a few moments.]

After she said that, I felt something underneath myself. I lifted my body off of the egg to notice that there was a hairline crack going across the egg now. The egg currently was a really dark blue color, which it actually looked really beautiful. The egg then started to shake while cracking even more. When the egg was about to fall apart, it stopped moving. It didn't move for quite a while, when all of a sudden it started to shake uncontrollably. Then it exploded!!

BBBBOOOOMMMM

The egg actually exploded into very tiny pieces, and what was left in the center of it was a black object just laying there. The object then started to move and uncurled itself. What was then just a black object, turned into a dragon!! Well a very small dragon, it was a baby dragon. The dragon looked around for a moment before it spotted me lying on the floor. It got up, then slowly got off the bed, and walked towards me. Then it actually talked to me.
