Chapter 7 - 7: Orion Pendragon!

It spoke to me. . . Wait it actually spoke to me????? What the fuċk! This is awesome!!!

"Umm. . . Orion, Orion Pendragon is your name!" I told Orion.

{{Thank you. From today onwards I shall be known as Orion Pendragon.}}

[Congratulation Arthrall Pendragon. You have successfully obtained a dragon as your companion animal!]

{Oh ok. So now what?}

[Now?? I do believe you both should get some rest. You are extremely tired, considering the fact that your eyes are almost shut right now.]

{Oh they are?? Huh. . . I guess they are.}

"Hey Orion, do you want to sleep up here with me?" I asked him.

{{I would love to do that!}}

So, Orion jumped up onto the bed and laid down right on top of me. He was actually heavier than I thought he was going to be. It felt like a 15 pound bowling ball on my ċhėst. It was kind of hard to breathe at first, but after a bit I was able to get comfortable. After I had gotten comfortable, Orion was already out like a light. It had taken me just a few minutes more to finally fall asleep.

[Goodnight Arthrall, tomorrow is going to be a very stressful day.]

I started to hear a weird noise coming from my room, but I didn't want to open my eyes. It was like a scratching and jumping at the same time type of noise. I decided to slightly open up one of my eyes and look at where the noise was coming from. What I then saw confirmed the dream I had. It was Orion jumping up and down trying to catch a fly that was in the room. Which means I really did die in my world, and I came here to fight in the System's World.

"Ahh fuċk. . ."

"Everything alright Arthrall?" A random voice said.

I instantly sat right up and drew my sword from under my pillow. I looked around and I finally saw the voice that had spoken up. It was Arialle. . .

"Ok. . . How the fuċk did you get into my room?? I locked the door last night. . ." I asked her while being irritated.

"I had came about an hour ago. Yes your door was locked, but I had the tavern owner open it for me. I didn't realize you had a pet dragon, it has been playing around since I've gotten here. The tavern owner was also quite surprised, because when you showed up yesterday you didn't have anything with you except for some money." Arialle told me.

"Yeah I was kind of surprised also, considering I couldn't remember much. By the way, the dragons name is Orion." I told her.

"Hmm. . . Orion huh? She said quietly.

"Yes Orion, Orion Pendragon. . ." I said to her quickly.

"Haha, don't get all flustered because of me now. Hello Orion Pendragon!" She leaned down and said that to Orion.

Orion looked up at her and bowed his head, when he left it back up he said something.

"Grr grrrr gr grrrr" He said.

"Uh. . . What??" She said while having a confused look on her face.

{{Tell her I said, Hello to you too beautiful lady.}}

"He said, Hello to you too beautiful lady." I relayed his message to her.

"Oh, he does talk?? But only to you then?? By the way Orion, My name is Arialle Knighthaven!" She told Orion.

"So, why were you in my room?? I asked her.

"Well remember what I had said to you yesterday? Well I actually came here to show you around the town, but when I had gotten here you were still asleep. So I decided to come up here, and wait for you to wake up. You had a really rough day yesterday so I figured I would let you sleep." She said towards me while rubbing Orion's little head.

"Oh ok, well thank you for not waking me up. I was extremely tired yesterday." I said.

So we stayed up there for a little bit. We talked and played with Orion until my stomach started to growl, and Orion's growled also. His was a lot louder than mine to the point Arialle and I started busting up laughing.

"Question, do they serve breakfast to us here?" I asked Arialle.

"Not sure, let's go find out!" She said to me while still chuckling.

"Orion, hop up onto my shoulder. You might end up scaring people since you are new to them it would seem." I told Orion.

After I sat down on my bed and put my boots back on, which I don't remember taking them off. . . Orion jumped up onto the bed and then crawled up onto my shoulder. It felt weird, it felt like little knives where crawling on my back, but didn't hurt me at all. After he was situated, I walked towards my door and opened it. We came downstairs quickly after we had gotten the scent of the food. When I had gotten to the bottom of the stairs I looked around to find somewhere to sit and eat. It wasn't too hard to do so. There were plenty of seats already opened up, so I took the closest one to the bar area. After a few moments the waitress from yesterday walk up to us.

"Good morning! May I have your key please." She asked me.

"Good morning to you as well!" I said to her while handing the key back to her.

"I see you have a companion." She said towards me while looking at Orion.

"Ahh yes, sorry about that. I am actually quite surprised myself, I didn't realize I had an egg with me last night. His name is Orion, he is quite harmless to people." I said towards her while smiling and scratching Orion's bottom jaw.

"Aww, well that is alright. We believe you. Now do you guys want any breakfast? Breakfast is free here as long as you stayed the night. So, unfortunately miss you will have to pay for yours." She said towards Arialle while bowing slightly.

"Oh that is alright, I understand. We will have two of the house orders. And. . . Oh crud, what does Orion eat?? She turned towards me and asked.

"Uhh. . . What do you eat Orion??" I said while looking at Orion.

{{Fish. I can eat fish for now. Raw fish actually.}}

"Do you guys have any raw fish?" I asked the waitress.

"Hmm. . . We don't, but we can grab some from the market down the street." She said.

"Please do, I will pay for the fish. Just let me know how much it costs after you guys by it." I told the waitress.

"Alright! Miss your total amount will be 3 silver." The waitress turned towards Arialle while saying that.

She opened her hand and waited while Arialle got the 3 silver out of her pocket. After a little bit our food came back to our table, and at the same time a guy walked into the tavern with some fresh fish. He handed them to the waitress and told her it would cost only 2 silver. The waitress then had the gentleman walked over to me, than I thought of the 2 silver and grabbed it out of my pocket to hand over to the guy. The waitress then brought over the fish to Orion, who then waited for her to put it on the table so he could hop off my shoulder to eat them.

Then I decided to look at the food they brought me. I was actually quite surprised with the amount of food sitting in front of me!
