Chapter 23 - 23: Buying From the Store!

We walked inside The Drunken Clam, and got our food. It tasted delicious like usual. We paid a total of 8 silver. Then we left The Drunken Clam, and head towards Arialle's house. It was actually a pretty good looking house. It was about the size of a 2 bedroom house. We walked into the house, and I was instantly attacked by a little dog. It didn't bite me or anything, it just licked me a lot.

"Whoa there little one. I'll scratch your back, don't worry! Hahaha. . ." I said to the dog while laughing.

"Tyson get off of Arthrall. . . Hahaha. . ." Arialle said toTyson while laughing also.

"Hahaha. . . So his name is Tyson huh?" I asked Arialle.

"Yeah, he is a good dog." She said while scratching Tyson's back.

"Well what did you want to talk about?" I then asked her.

"Well I just wanted to know why you lied to me." She said while looking straight at my eyes.

"Well I didn't know you to start with. If we just met would you tell me about yourself? I then asked her.

"No. . . I guess you are right than." She said while looking down.

"So if there is anything else you are wanting to know, just ask alright?" I then told her.

"Alright. Well that is all I wanted to know for now. I'll show you to your room, and I'll show you where the bathroom is to get cleaned up." Arialle then told me.

"Alright, thank you!" I told her.

She showed me where my room was, which was right across from hers. She told me that I could either sleep now, or get cleaned up now. I decided to get cleaned up instead, because I felt gross for some reason. So she showed me where the bathroom was, which it was next to the dining room. I told her thank you, and I went in to get cleaned up. I had to take and light a fire next to the tub. Then I had to fill the tub up to where I could get into it. It didn't take me too long to get cleaned up, but I decided to stay in the tub for about 20 minutes to just soak. After I got out of the tub, I had to turn around, and dump the water out of the window with a bucket. I walked out of the bathroom with just my pants and boots on. That is when Arialle walked around the corner and almost ran right into me.

"Oh. . . I'm sorry." She said with slightly bigger eyes, and blushing cheeks.

"No, I should be the one apologizing. I should of been watching where I was going." I then told her.

"Well, goodnight! I'm heading to bed now." I said after standing there awkwardly for a little bit.

"Uh huh. . . Goodnight!" She said while scooting around me, and then heading into the bathroom.

I then walked into my room, and shut the door. I put my clothes on the small chair in the corner of the room. I still hand my pants on though. I decided to lay down on the bed, and closed my eyes to go to sleep.

[What. . . Do you think I'm not important enough to talk to anymore?]

I opened my eyes to look at Orion, and that is when I noticed he wasn't here.

{FUCK!!}

[Orion isn't here is he? Hmm. . . One sec.]

I waited for that second, while jumping out of bed, and throwing on my boots and shirt.

[Ok, you should be high enough level to talk to him through your mind.]

It took me a moment to think about him, and then try and say something.

'Orion?'

{{Arthrall?? I can hear you in my mind??}}

'Yeah, I guess we can talk finally without me having to speak out loud.'

'At Arialle's house.'

{{Oh ok. Where is that?}}

I told him where it was, and I also told him I would wait for him at the front door. It took him about 5 minutes to find the place. He flew in from above me, which I thought was cool.

'By the way, where were you?'

{{I was asleep in the Guild building. Then I woke up, and you were no longer there.}}

'Yeah sorry. . . We were in a hurry to leave, because we were really tired ourselves.'

{{It is ok, now can I come in sleep??}}

'Give me a sec, let me find out if I can let you inside first.'

I walked back inside, and I walked to the bathroom first. I noticed the bathroom door was opened so I figured she wasn't there. So I walked to her room, and knocked on the door.

"Come in!" Arialle said a little loud that way I could hear her.

I opened the door, and walked inside. She was currently writing something down at the desk in her room.

"Hey Arialle. . . I've got a question." I asked her.

"Yes?" She said while still writing.

"Um. . . Anyway Orion could come inside, and sleep in my room? He ended up falling asleep at the Adventurer's Guild." I then asked her.

She stopped writing for a moment, and then looked right up at me.

"He can, as long as he doesn't tear anything up." She mentioned to me, then went back to writing.

"Alright, he won't. Thank you!" I said while walking out of the room.

"No problem!" She yelled through her now closed door.

I walked back to the front door, and opened it.

'You can come in, just make sure you don't wreck anything in here!'

After that, we walked back towards my room, I took off my shirt and boots, and then I set them on the chair. Then I walked back to the bed, and laid down. Orion then jumped on the bed, and laid down on my legs.
