Chapter 71 - 71: Time to get our gear!

It didn't take us too long to find the tailor's shop. The shop was called Armoury Tailors. Just from the windows on the entrance, we could see so many vibrant colors! We decided to enter the place, and all we could see was cloth and thread.

"Wow. . . I didn't realize a place could be so colorful. . ." I commented.

"Indeed, it is quite beautiful. So, why are we here again?" Arialle then asked.

"I'm here to buy me more clothes. . . I need more than one outfit. . ." I told her.

"Well, it will take it awhile for them. They have to get your sizes, and then they have to get your color preferences, and then they can make them." Arialle commented.

"You've been here before?" Dj asked her.

"Yep, this is the place I get my clothes made." She told him.

"Oh ok." Dj replied.

"Welcome back Arialle! Do you need more clothes?" We still have your sizes from a few weeks ago." A lady came up towards us.

"No I don't need any clothes this time Charlotte, but these two guys here need clothes." She commented.

"Oh wonderful! Why don't you two boys come on back here." Charlotte told us.

"Ka'kaw?" Blue said with his head tilted.

"What is that bird doing in here?" Charlotte exclaimed.

"Oh sorry, he is my companion. He was just hatched earlier this morning, so sadly he has to come with me wherever I go for now. Do you mind? Also, do you want Orion and Onyx out of your store too? They are also my companions. I'm a Hunter." I asked her.

". . . So they are your companions? So you can tell them to sit and not touch anything correct?" She then asked.

"Yes I can." I commented.

"Then that is fine, bring them back with you, then have them sit near the chair." She told me.

"Alright, come on you two." I told them.

We followed her to the back of her shop, and we saw a wooden circular box that someone could stand on. While walking towards the back, we saw all sorts of colors, textures, and thread. She went over towards a desk, and grabbed a board that had paper on it.

"Alright, first off. What are your names?" She asked.

"I'm Arthrall." I told her.

"I'm Dj." He answered.

"Last names?" She then asked with a weird look on her face.

"Oh sorry, Arthrall Pendragon." I mentioned.

"Dj Wahlle." He commented.

"Alright, now what are your guys favorite colors?" She asked us while writing down our names.

"Mine is Navy Blue, Blue, Light Blue, and Black." I told her.

"I like orange colors, so any type of orange you've got I'll be happy with." Dj mentioned it to her.

"Alright, then that part is done. I need you boys to drop your clothes except your undėrwėȧr. I have to get your height and length now." She told us while grabbing an item that looked like tape.

Dj and I started getting undressed, and at that point I looked up to see Arialle's face blushing pretty badly. I finally understood why her face was red that night. I just shook my head, then finished taking the rest of my clothes off. I turned towards Dj and I noticed he had just gotten done.

"I'll go first bud." I told him.

"Alright." He commented.

I went up to the podium, and stood on top of it. I waited patiently while Charlotte took measurements of myself. 

[Hmm. . . You know I would've given you your exact measurements if you asked me too.]

{Fudge. . . I forgot about that. . . Oh well.}

[Well, it would have saved Arialle from blushing so badly. Her face is literally the shade of a deep red tomato. . .]

{Haha. . . Indeed. . . I've got a reason to tease her now.}

[Do you like her?]

{Nah, she is like a little sister to me honestly.]

[Ahh ok.]

{Why?}

[Was just wondering. I've seen her blush before, but you never realized why she did it.]

{Ahh gotcha}

[By the way, I decided to turn off the fast chat that you and I normally do for now. Since she is just measuring you.]

{Alright, thank you!}

While Zoe and I were talking, Charlotte had gotten done with me, and started on Dj getting his measurements. After about another five minutes, she got done with Dj.

"Alright, go ahead and get redressed. While you two do that, I've got some more questions for you guys." She then commented.

"Ask away!" I told her while putting my pants back on.

"Ok, what type of clothes are you guys wanting? Long sleeve shirts or short sleeves?" She asked.

"I would like both." I told her.

"Same." Dj commented.

"That was easy, ok next question is. What type of material do you guys want?" She then asked.

"I would like some that are soft, like to where I can bȧrėly feel them. Also, I would like some thick long sleeved ones. For just in case we go towards a winter biome type of place." I mentioned to her.

"I would also like the same, just make mine a little bit thicker." Dj commented.

"Oh ok, so you guys are just getting these for your adventures then?" She asked.

"Yep, although I wouldn't mind some casual clothes either." I told her.

"I also wouldn't mind some casual clothes. Maybe some shorts?" He asked.

"I can make shorts, would you like any Arthrall?" She asked me.

"Yes please! I love shorts, it's just I don't think they would be good while we are out doing our quests. . . Haha. . ." I commented then started to laugh.

"Indeed they wouldn't be. So, how many of each piece of clothing are you guys going to want?" She then asked us.

"Hmm. . . How about two weeks worth for the regular adventuring clothes. Of the casual clothes I would like a week worth of those, and I would like two weeks of winter type clothes too." I told her.

"I would like the same amount please!" Dj answered.

"Alright, Then I'm done with you guys! Give me two days to finish all of them! I will also tell you guys the price when you guys come back to get the clothes." She told us.

"Ok, thank you for the help! We will be leaving now!" I told her.

"Thank you again!" Dj commented.

"You boys are very welcome, talk to you guys again in two days!" She said while walking back over to her desk.

We just shook our heads, and left the shop with Arialle, Orion, and Onyx following behind us. Blue stayed on my shoulder the entire time. Even when she went to measure, he moved to the other shoulder to get out of her way.

Once outside, we decided to just head straight over to Brondeac's place. Once there, we could hear the usual beating from the back of his shop.

"Hey Brondeac! We are back!" I yelled.

"Be out in just a moment!" He yelled back.

We only had to wait for about two minutes before he came out from the back of his shop. While waiting, I decided to pet Blue while he was on my shoulder.

"Hey, welcome back you guys! I had literally just finished your guys gears. So give me a moment, and I'll go get your stuff." He told us while walking back towards the back of his shop. After a little bit of waiting, him and a few of his apprentices followed him out. What he brought was quite an ȧssortment of gear. There were the claws that he made for Onyx, there were some long metal sleeves. Which looked like they could fit Orion. There were also the knee pads and shin guards for Dj. I also saw a pair of bracers, but not sure who those are for. Then I saw my items. I saw my arrows, except there are more there then what he told me he was giving me.

"Alright, here is everything. I made the claws for Onyx that you wanted, they can grab onto things easier, and I also made it to where they can do a great amount of damage. I made these metal sleeves for Orion, but I couldn't exactly think of how to protect the rest of his wings. . . Sadly that is something I'm unable to help with. I only know of one Blacksmith who could help you, but he is far. He lives on a mountain to the south of us. The problem is you will have to cross an ocean to get over towards him. The Blacksmith's name is Toby, and he isn't your average Blacksmith. He is a Dragonkin, Half-Human, Half-Dragon. So he will know what to make for Orion better than what I can. Also the mountain's name is Dragonfire Mountain." He explained to us.

"Alright, thank you for the info! I will get more information about this place from our travels, but for now you're our Blacksmith that can make some decent pieces for him. Well you and your brother." I told him.

"Haha. . . Thank you. Now for the other pieces, The knee pads and shin guards are for you Dj. I also ended up deciding to give you the bracers you mentioned yesterday." He commented.

"Oh wow! Thank you!" Dj exclaimed.
