Chapter 79 - 79: On our way!

We started walking towards Kendra's Potions, and once we got there, she popped out of nowhere once again.

"Hello! Welcome to my shop! How can I help you?" She asked from right behind us.

This time, I got to see Dj freak out instead of me. I started laughing at that.

"Shut up man! That freaking scared me!" He yelled at me.

"Hey Kendra!" Arialle turned towards her and waved.

"Oh hi there! Welcome back! How have you been?" She asked.

"Oh we have been good! Just needed some potions for our long trip." Arialle commented.

"How long of a trip?" Kendra then asked.

"About two months, maybe three." I answered her after calming down.

"Wow. . . What are guys doing for that long?" She then asked us.

"We have to travel to an area west of here." Dj grumbled from being made fun of.

"Alright, well what type of potions are you guys needing?" She finally asked.

"Health and Mana Potions." Arialle answered her.

"Alright, I have Mana and Health, and Greater Mana and Health potions for sale. The prices are still the same." She told us.

"How much are the Health Potions? Cause I remember the prices of the Mana Potions, but never asked about the Health Potions." I asked.

"They are actually the same price." Kendra answered me.

"Alright, we will need 20 of the Greater Health and Mana, and we will need 40 of the Health and Mana Potions." I told her.

"Alright, that will be 550 Silver Coins for all of them." She told us.

"You wanna split it Arialle?" I asked her.

"Sure." Arialle answered.

I grabbed out 225 SIlver Coins out of my ring, while Arialle did the same thing. We both handed Kendra the money, while Kendra was currently grabbing all the potions for us. After she got all of them together, she then put them inside of a box to make it easier to carry them. She took our money, and I took and put the crate into my ring.

"Thank you for your purchase!" Kendra happily stated.

"Yep, thanks Kendra!" I told her while waving to her goodbye.

"Thank you Kendra!" Arialle commented.

Dj just followed me out with a sad look on his face still.

"What's wrong bud?" I asked him once we were out of the store.

"Nothing. . . Just sad I got scared. . ." He commented.

"Don't feel bad, she does that to everyone. She is a Mage, but not sure of what type of mage though. . ." Arialle mentioned from behind him.

"Damn mages. . ." He grumbled.

"Alright. . . Alright. . . I'm sorry I laughed at you bud. . . It was just funny. Anyways, let's head towards the market. Gotta go get them vegetables." I apologized to him while patting his shoulder.

We walked for a little bit until we reached the market place, and there we started shopping for the vegetables. We ended up buying peppers, broccoli, celery, carrots, lettuce, and a few others. I was going to pay for it all, but Arialle decided she was going to. It cost her around 50 Silver coins for all of it. I also decided we needed some bread to go along with the vegetables, so I went and got some. It cost me around 15 Silver Coins for some loaves of bread. After we got done there, I realized we have no way of getting fish for Blue.

{Hey Blue, are you able to catch your own food?}

{{Yes! Yes!}} Blue answered.

"Alright, let's go get us something quick to eat before we leave town." Arialle commented.

"Works for me." Dj said.

"Okidoki!" I said.

So we walked to a food stall that was near us, and got all of us some food to eat. While eating our food, we waited for our Companions to finish eating theirs before we started walking again. We started walking towards the gate in order for us to leave, and it didn't take us too long to reach it. Once there we decided to start walking towards the West of town.

"So, are we letting Dj fight with us once we get to the valley, or are we having him sit back?" Arialle asked me while walking.

"Well, I figured we could get him leveled up a little bit more before we reached the valley. So I think we should let him, Tyson, and Blue fight the entire time. While we just sit back and relax like before." I told her.

"That sounds ok with you Dj?" She then turned towards him.

"Sounds alright with me, just make sure you guys keep an eye on us. Don't want something bad happening to us. Know what I mean?" He answered.

"We will. Don't worry bud." I commented.

"Awesome!" Dj said while smiling.

We continued walking for a while until we saw some creatures that Dj, Tyson, and Blue could handle. So we just sat back and let them take care of them. It was pretty good just watching them, cause we could give them some pointers if they do something wrong. We did this a few times before it started getting dark outside, so we decided to stop moving forwards so we could make us some food.

"How far have we made it so far?" Dj asked after eating some more of his lunch.

"Well it has been about a week so far, and from what the map is telling us. We still have about two more weeks before we reach there. It also depends on if we run into anything that will make us go a different route. If we do, then about another three weeks." Arialle commented before taking a bite out of her food.

"Hmm. . . This is still fun, even if it takes a while to reach there." I mentioned.

"That is true! I haven't checked out my stats since before we left, but don't plan on it till we reach the valley." Dj commented.

"Yeah I didn't plan on checking Blue's for awhile either. I know you both should level quite a bit by the time we get there." I told him.

"Haha. . ." He just chuckled.

"Well, let's head on out after we get done eating. Don't want to waste too much time." Arialle told us.

"Will do!" Dj and I answered her.

After that, we finished our lunch, and we also put out the fire we had going. We just continued in the direction we were going. After a bit, we actually ran into a pack of wolves not too long after leaving. So Dj went and tanked them while Blue and Tyson fought them. It took them maybe five minutes to kill them. I went over, and started skinning them. It took me about 30 minutes to skin all of them. I've actually gotten faster at skinning wolves due to all the wolves I skinned back at the town. I threw the skins into my inventory, while Arialle threw the meat into her ring. Arialle and I have been doing this for the past week. We've gotten about 30 pieces of leather each since we decided to do this at the very beginning. After we got done with that, we continued on our way. We did this for another few hours until it started getting dark once again. We stopped and made camp, then we started cooking once again. Arialle decided she wanted to cook this time, so she made us some steaks with a salad as a side. It was something pretty simple, but it still tasted pretty good. Orion, Onyx, Tyson, and Blue ended up eating some raw meat while she was cooking.

"I'll take the first watch tonight." I told them.

"Works for me, I'll take the last watch. So I can get some rest beforehand. If that is alright." Dj commented.

"That is fine." Arialle commented.

"Awesome! Thank you for the food Arialle, I'm going to go and lay down now." Dj told us.

"Goodnight bud." I told him.

{Why don't you go lay down with him Blue. Get some rest, I want you to wake up with him for his watch alright.}

{{Will do!}} Blue commented.

"Hey Arialle. When you go to wake Dj up, can you also wake Blue up? I want them to continue being a group for now." I asked her.

"Sure thing." She answered while walking towards the tent.

"Thanks." I told her.

{{Which one of us is going to wake up with Arialle?}} Orion then asked.

{Doesn't matter. Up to you two.}

{{I can!}} Onyx commented excitedly.

{Then go with her bud.}

Onyx then ran towards the tent to lay down with Arialle and Dj.

[Your group is coming together nicely.]

{Indeed it is.}

[So what are your plans for tonight?]

{Honestly, I just want to lay here and look at the stars. They are quite beautiful out tonight.}

[Indeed they are. Luckily you guys haven't ran into any storms or cloudy days yet.]

{True. . . That would honestly quite suck if we did. . .}

[Yes it would.]
