Chapter 82 - 82: Tough luck to you Mr. Wolfy!

Dj, Blue, and Tyson kept killing the mobs. Arialle and I kept skinning them in order to have plenty of leather to make. We actually have quite a bit of different leathers we could use. We even still had the leather from the wolves. So once we get back, I believe that I'm going to spend a few days creating some gear to be sold. I might even be able to increase my Leatherworking level too!

While Dj was currently resting, I decided to take a look around him to see if there were any other mobs, or something we could bring back with us. There wasn't much sadly, just some twigs and grass. Honestly I don't even know what I'm looking for sadly. . .

{{Arthrall, there are some beasts over to our right. About 40 yards away from us.}} Orion told me.

{Alright, thanks bud!}

"Hey Dj, are you about ready to continue?" I decided to ask him while walking towards him.

"Yeah, I'm pretty close to leveling right now. I figured I could level before stopping for the day." He explained to me.

"What level?" I asked.

"Seven." He commented.

"Oh wow, you're catching up to Arthrall and I. You might be level 9 by the time we reach the valley. We still have about a week and a half left before we reach there." Arialle mentioned from right behind me.

"Hopefully that is true. . . I don't know how helpful I'll be if I'm not close to you guys." Dj commented with a sad look on his face.

"Hey, even if you don't reach level 9. We will still be killing the lower lions. Gotta remember bud, we have seven people/companions here right now. We are bigger than most parties. So no matter what, you won't have to worry about not doing anything. You can still tank, and we will blast the beasts to kill them quickly. Why do you think we bought so many Health and Mana Potions?" I explained to him.

"I guess you're right. Enough of me sulking. . . Where are the next creatures or beasts for me to fight?" He then asked.

"Orion told me, about 40 yards to the east of us. He is currently flying over the area to figure out where the beast or creatures are." I told him.

"Tell Orion thanks. Blue, Tyson. Let's go!" He yelled, while charging into the direction I told him about.

"We need to keep an eye on him. . . I have a feeling he will get himself into a lot of trouble if we don't. . ." Arialle mentioned while shaking her head.

"Haha. . . Yeah, but I trust him. He won't get himself into too much trouble he can't handle." I commented while walking in the direction I told him.

"So, what is your plan once we reach the valley?" She then asked me.

"Well, I figured we could rest at the edge before heading in. I'll have Orion and Blue fly around to let us know what we are getting ourselves into. Other than that, I'm not too sure right now." I told her.

"Alright, I'll also go around on the ground in Stealth to see what I could find." She commented to me.

"Alright, just make sure they can't see you. I have a feeling that they can sense when someone has hostility towards them. Predator instinct, or at least that is what it was like in my old world. There were people who would hunt lions back on my world, and they would tell stories about the lions." I said to her.

"Hmm. . . Alright, I'll make sure to not get too close to them." She told me.

At this point, I could hear Dj and them fighting some beasts in front of us, but I couldn't see them yet because of some bushes. I decided to creep up to the bushes to see what they were fighting. Once there, I noticed that they were just some wolves they ran into. It honestly would take them much longer to finish them off, but I stayed to make sure they would be alright. Arialle creeped up next to me, but didn't say anything. She was just looking at them, when she looked over towards the left side of them all of a sudden. She tapped my arm, and pointed at what she saw. It was a bigger wolf currently trying to hide in the bushes that were to the left side of the group.

{{Orion, or Onyx. Stay alert, there is a bigger wolf trying to sneak its way up to them. It is coming from the left side of them.}}

{{Got it, Orion is currently still patrolling the skies.}} Onyx commented.

Arialle started to move towards it, but I grabbed her arm and shook my head. She looked at me with a confused look on her face. I just smiled, and just motioned her to look over towards the group. Once she did, she noticed Onyx creeping up around the bigger wolf. She looked at me, and she realized I had told Onyx about it. I just kept smiling, and then looked back over towards the group. They were about to finish the four wolves, when the big one tried jumping towards them. Once he left the bushes, Onyx came charging at him, and used his roaring ability. It was loud enough to stop the wolf from going any closer to the group. After it came out, Dj noticed it, and used his taunting ability to get aggro over towards him. When the wolf went towards him, it only took the group of them under two minutes to kill it.

"Nice job guys. You handled that very calmly." I told them.

"Thanks. If Onyx hadn't roared when he did, I have a feeling one of us would have been really hurt. I'm ȧssuming you told him about the bigger wolf?" Dj then asked me.

"Actually Arialle was the one to spot it, but yes I told Onyx about it." I told him.

"Well thank you to both of you." Dj commented with a smile on his face.
