Chapter 85 - 85: Finally! Doing Blue's stats!

(A week and a half later!)

"Alright, let's stop here. We are about a half day away from the valley, and I don't want to risk hurting ourselves by getting too close to it." I commented.

"Alright, works for me. I just reached level 9 actually." Dj commented.

"Nice bud! I'll check Blue once we are about to head to bed. Do you want to make dinner tonight DJ?" I then asked him.

"Sure, what do you guys want?" He then asked.

"Something quick." Arialle commented.

"Yeah, that sounds good to me." I mentioned.

"Alright. I'll get to it then." He told us.

After that it didn't take Dj long to make dinner. It was just a salad that he made. I gave Orion and the others their share of meat that way they could get some sleep. I ate my salad slowly today, because I just kept looking at the sky.

"You ok Arthrall? You seem to be looking up at the sky a lot lately." Arialle commented.

"I am? I didn't notice. Don't really know why I am either." I commented.

"Maybe you should get some more sleep. Arialle and I can keep watch tonight if you want." Dj told me.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yes, get some sleep!" She exclaimed towards me.

"Alright, then goodnight you two. Before I go to bed though, I've got to check Blue's stats." I told them.

"Goodnight, and don't take too long alright!" Arialle commented towards me.

"Indeed, don't take too long and go straight to sleep." Dj told me.

I waved to them before heading towards the tent. Once inside and layed down I decided it was time to check his stats.

'Alright, that works for me. He should feel quite a bit stronger tomorrow now.'

After that, I went directly asleep. This time I didn't go into the area that Zoe and Gondrax are at.

"Alright, Orion and Blue fly over and let me know what you see. Arialle, remember what I told you last week. Don't get too close to them. They might still be able to sense you near them." I told them.

Arialle nodded, then disappeared. While Orion and Blue flew off towards the valley.

"What shall we do?" Dj then asked.

"We shall wait. I want to know what we are facing, and now that we have two companions that are able to fly, it will be a lot easier." I told him.

"Ok, in that case, can I get one of the repair kits? I want to make sure my gear is good to go." He then asked me.

"Sure, give me a sec to get it out." I told him. I took and looked inside of my inventory, but they weren't in there, so decided to look in the ring. After finding them inside the ring, I took one out and handed it over to Dj. While he was repairing his gear, I was patiently waiting for reports back from Orion and Blue.

{{Wow. . . There are a lot of lions out here. . .}} Orion commented.

{{Indeed there are. Just from flying around this short distance, I can already see around 20 lions so far, and we haven't even hit the halfway mark yet. . .}} Blue mentioned.

{Alright, just keep me informed. Also look for the Valley King, it should be there somewhere.}

{{Got it!}} The both said.

[Arialle: You were right, they can still sense me. Luckily they didn't come closer to me, but they started growling. I can't make it much further than the entrance since they have some lions patrolling there.]

"Dj, take a look at the chat." I commented to him.

[Arthrall: Alright, thanks for the heads up. How many are patrolling the entrance?]

[Arialle: There are currently four that I can see, but there might be more.]

[Dj: First off, this is cool! Second, can you tell what level they are?]

[Arialle: Give me a sec.]

"I hope they won't be too overpowered. . ." Dj commented.

"You just had to jinx us didn't you. . ." I said while shaking my head.

"What. . ." He said.

[Arialle: Fuck!]

[Arthrall: You ok?]

[Arialle: Yeah I'm fine, but their levels are over ours. . . From what I can tell, they're level 15 to 17. . .]

[Dj: . . . Fuck me. . . I'm sorry I opened my mouth Arthrall. . .]

[Arialle: You jinxed us didn't you. . .]

[Dj: . . .]

[Arthrall: He did. . . Alright, head on back. I'll think of something to take care of them.]

[Arialle: Ok, on my way.]

{{We found him. . . He also saw us. . .}} Blue mentioned.

{You guys far enough to where he can't get you?}

{{Yes, we are high enough.}} Orion commented.

{Alright, come on back to us. I've got some thinking to do.}

Arialle was the first one to make it back to us, so I decided to think of a way to handle lions. I thought of having Onyx and Dj both tank them for now, until we killed Onyx's target first. I mean it shouldn't be too hard, but my problem is the level 17 lion. It was honestly too high of a level to deal with, especially with the other lions there with it. By the time I was ready to talk to the group, Orion and Blue also made it back to us.

"Alright, so the level 17 lion will be an issue." I told them.

"I figured he would be, considering we are so much lower leveled then it is." Arialle commented.

"Indeed. . . I don't think I can tank it sadly. . ." Dj mentioned.

"I don't think so either. . . So my plan is for Onyx and you to tank a target each, while you guys taunt the third lion between the both of you. I will kite the level 17 around until they are all dead. I can run pretty quickly, so I should be able to either keep it at a safe distance, or be faster than it." I told them.

"Hmm. . . Alright. . . Let's try it, but the moment you can't keep the lion away from you, you need to let us know alright?" Arialle asked.

"Will do!" I told her.
