Chapter 88 - 88: Gondrax speaks up!

"Can I say something?" Dj asked us.

"Go ahead bud." I told him.

"Sure." Arialle answered.

"We can't beat them. . . I mean we could if there weren't so many of them, but now there are a lot of them. . ." Dj commented.

". . ."

"I think he's right Arthrall. . . I mean if we were closer to their level then we could, but right now we just can't. . ." Arialle mentioned to me.

"Hmm. . ." I started to think about what we could do to get in there, but in all honesty, all my plans ended up with one of us dying.

[They are right you know.]

'Yeah I've noticed. . .'

[Hold on, Gondrax wants to talk to you.]

'Ok??'

[Arthrall. . . You alright?]

'Yeah. . . What do you need?'

[Ok right to the point. . . You guys can't beat them lions right now, but I know a place you can get to from here. It will help you guys level up, but it will take some time. Do you trust me?]

'Not particularly no. . .'

[Good. Don't trust your enemies, but since I'm in here, I don't have a reason to lie to you. Rest here tonight, and I'll have you follow the path I tell you tomorrow.]

'Trust me, I won't. . . Alright.'

"Hey guys." I said towards the two of them.

Before either of them could answer, Zoe had just came back.

[So, you gonna follow his plan?]

'I think so. . . I mean I don't really have much of a choice now do I?'

[Sadly. . . You don't. . .]

'Well, at least I know he won't try to kill me anymore. That is a plus side I guess. . .'

[If he did, he would completely regret it. . . I would make him suffer for all of eternity. . .]

'Remind me to not make you mad. . .'

"Arthrall??"

"Hey. . .  Bud you ok??"

"Huh. . ." I commented.

"You kind of said hey guys, then just stared at the fire for a little bit." Dj mentioned it to me.

"Oh fudge. . . Sorry about that. . . I was talking to Zoe and Gondrax about our predicament. I guess Gondrax has an area we can go, to level up." I told them.

"You trust him??" Arialle said with widening eyes.

"I mean not really, but if this helps, then I'm not complaining." I answered her.

"Don't mind me. . . But who is Gondrax again?" Dj then asked.

"Oh. . . He is a guy that tried killing us, and once that didn't happen he tried cursing Arthrall once he died. His soul is currently inside of Arthrall right now, and he can talk to him." Arialle told Dj.

"Dude. . . You have the worst luck. . ." He commented while shaking his head at me.

"You're telling me man. . . Anyways, he won't tell me until tomorrow, but he did say we could rest here until then." I told them while getting up from the fire.

"Alright. Why don't you rest all night tonight with Onyx. I think he could use some company from you." Arialle commented while looking at Onyx sleeping next to the fire.

"Thanks Arialle, I'll leave Blue and Orion out for you guys to have some company." I said while walking over towards Onyx.

"Thanks bud, and tell Onyx thank you for the major help he did back there. . ." Dj told me.

"Will do bud." I answered him.

{Onyx. . . Did you hear Dj?}

{{Yawn. . . Yeah I did. Tell him that he is very welcome.}} Onyx commented after yawning.

"He said your welcome." I told him.

At that Dj just smiled. I decided to lay down right next to Onyx and laid my arm around him.

{{You're falling asleep next to me?}} Onyx then asked.

{Yep, you fought hard today, and I almost lost you. So I'm sleeping right next to you today.}

{{We will be fine Onyx. We have Arialle and Dj to help us if need be. Also don't forget we can fly.}} Orion told him.

{{I may have not been in this world for very long, but I also agree with Orion. Just sleep for now alright?}} Blue then asked him.

{{Alright. . . Good night guys, and thanks again Arthrall. . .}} Onyx commented before drifting off back to sleep.

{Goodnight Orion and Blue.}

{{Goodnight Arthrall.}} They both commented at the same time.

"So where exactly are you taking Arthrall?" I commented with some hostility in my voice.

"Calm down Zoe. . . I'm not going to kill him. I'm sending him to a friend of mine. Well technically just an acquaintance, but still someone I know that could help them. It is a potion user that can really help them out. Her name is Aderis Trahana, who is a Half-Elf. Her current profession could help out Arthrall's group." Gondrax explained

"And what could she do?" I asked him with slight curiosity in my voice.

"Well, she could make exploding, sleeping, or poison potions." He commented.

"Well, the sleeping potions could indeed help, but how will they convince her to help them. Considering they did kill you. . ." I then mentioned.

"Good point. . . Well, either way, they have to go over towards her. They have to level up, and sadly that is really the only area around here that could help them with this short notice." He commented towards me.

"How long will it take for them to get there?" I asked.

"About two weeks, and it should take them to at least level three or four times within a month. . . I know it is a lot longer than they had thought, but the plus side is they don't have a time limit for their quests. The only issue is getting a message over towards that Phillip guy. . . Considering they thought it would only take them about two and a half months to get back." He answered.

"Let me think of that part. Just make sure they get to this Aderis girl. If they don't then you will know a world of pain you never thought possible." I told him with a very stern glare in my eyes.

"Yes ma'am!" He commented sharply.

". . ." I just shook my head at him, then went about to try and figure out a way for us to let Phillip know about Arthrall's group.
