Kyera offered a soft smile to Clovis, her eyes gentle and submissive. He could tell instantly, even without hearing everything Alexi had told him that she had been wronged. Granted, he could also tell she had turned it back on Feya, but that didn't matter. She shouldn't have gone after Kyera to begin with.

"Third Prince, I am your father's second wife. You will address me properly and stay out of things regarding the harem." Queen Kira barked at him, a glint of fire in her eyes. Alexi frowned, seeing how she was behaving he shook his head.

"You are the Emperor's concubine who became third queen. You were never Married to the Emperor, Queen Kira. I suggest you remember your place." Alexi replied pulling himself up to full height at the Empress's side. Kira ground her teeth as she glared at him. It was one thing to challenge Clovis, he was the third born prince. Alexi however was second son. Not only that, but he was also the one the Emperor favored for crown prince, since Clovis had removed his name.

"I am simply not willing to allow both Clovis and Eve to gang up on Feya just because she is soon to be the third Princess." Queen Kira tried to explain herself, controlling her emotions now. Two Princes and the Empress would easily overpower anything she had to say with the Emperor. Especially since it was just she and Feya who had offended the Emperor when she had changed who she would marry.

"No one was ganging up on Feya or on you, First Queen. I simply wished to point out that Kyera is not part of the harem, this matter is not for you or my mother to decide. If Kyera attacked Lady Feya then let us take this to the Emperor. Let him hear both sides and all the evidence. He should decide what the punishment should be." Clovis replied, setting a hand gently on Kyera's waist. She could feel his support of her, he had no intention of letting her suffer. For the first time since she had been here, she felt a sense of truely belonging at his side.

"Then we shall do that then. I would feel more at ease." Queen Kira agreed confidently. Kyera felt calmer, placing her trust in Clovis' hands. Feya however seemed nervous, looking down a bit but she nodded. They had come too far now for her to go back on what had been said. She shot a glare at both maids, they had best be ready to tell their lie before the Emperor with just as much feeling as they had the Queen.

Kyera took a spot behind the Empress, and pushed her toward the Main hall. The others followed as Clovis smiled softly watching Kyera tend to his mother. Alexi stood at his side firmly glancing at Feya.

"Please tell the Emperor something has happened between First Princess Feya of Bastil and Lady Kyera of Shadow Veil." The Empress told the guard, prepared to wait her turn. However, Kira pushed the doors open and lead Feya and the maids to The Emperor who was currently speaking with Mordrin and a older man, with jet back hair streaked grey. Kyera and Clovis Recognized Mordrin's Father Mordakai. Mordrin was shocked but smiled seeing her, knowing there was a chance to overpower the negativeness of this moment. Then his frown fell seeing Kyera's suddenly stressed expression.

"This is a pleasant surprise… granted I did not know that the door was left open when we were discussing this information." Mordakai's tone was pleasant but there was a clear undercurrent of anger. Having someone show him such disrespect was the type of thing that use to start wars before hand.

Kyera met Mordrin's eyes, trying to convey a desperateness. He nodded subtlety, knowing she was asking him to keep his father from starting a war. As much as he loves Vella, dishonor would not go well with him.

"What is the meaning of this interruption, Empress Evelyn?" The Emperor asked as Kyera pushed Evelyn into the room. The Empress sat at full height, and Mordakai's eyes softened as he saw her for the first time since the damage to her legs.

"I am sure the Empress has a good reason." Mordakai added calming himself a bit now. His voice almost seemed gentler and more understanding referring to the empress, and most the room couldn't tell the difference. However, after knowing him for so long, Kyera picked up the tones that he used with her.

"My Emperor, King Mordakai, I am sorry. We had no choice but to seek the Emperor's help for justice. There was a altercation between two of the Princess and the Harem girl, Kyera." Queen Kira began explaining and The Empress looked at her in shock. Kyera bit her lip realizing how badly this was going to go down she had to restrain herself from stepping behind Clovis.
