"Emperor, I believe there was a mistake in her words, or at least it had best have been." Mordakai spoke with a clear threat in his words, not bothering to veil it. The Emperor heard it and raised his brow trying to puzzle through.
"As I have told you, Queen I believe you misunderstood me. Kyera is my Bride, but she was never a member of the harem." Clovis tried to bail his father out by correcting her. Mordakai however glared at him as well. Mordrin noticed his father's searing gaze and stepped down from the thrones they had been talking at and walked down slowly. He came to stand beside Lady Kyera and smiled at Kira.
"Queen Kira, let me introduce you to My Lady Kyera of the Shade Veil. She is a noble diplomat of my land." Mordrin Spoke smoothly and rather kindly despite his own frustration. His father smiled slightly, proud of his son. "I would appreciate it if you did not make such a mistake again, or I would take it as a personal offense."
There was a certain amount of tension then. Feya and the maids also realized this might be more tricky than they had ever expected and alot more dangerous. No one had realized the Gypsy Princess wasn't Kyera's only title. "Nice to meet you, Queen Kira." Kyera replied out of kindness, trying to smooth over this misunderstanding.
"This does not change the reason for our meeting. Diplomat of Shadow Veil or not she has committed an act of cruelty and ruthlessness that can NOT be tolerated within the royal family." Queen Kira replied, feeling snubbed by the two Princes and This Emperor how dare they speak in such a way to her! Inside her heart was searing with anger but on the outside she seemed as though she was the victim instead of just reporting it. Her expression was so pained and indignant that the Emperor was inclined to believe her.
"Princess Kyera, what happened to cause you to be violent?" Mordekai asked seeming a bit curious. He knew she had it in her, but he was also well aware she didn't behave that way without provocation.
"Emperor Mordakai, all due respect but this should be handled by the family. It is, afterall a family matter." Feya tried to speak up, but Alexi frowned looking back at Clovis who also sighed deeply. He raised his hands as if it was not his problem.
"Was I late for the wedding?" Mordakai replied shortly. "And for that matter, I was speaking to Kyera. Not you, First Princess." He pointed out raising a questioning eyebrow at the Emperor.
"No, you were not. We simply already consider Kyera one of our family. There would be no reason to air such situations so publicly." Queen Kira attempted to sooth the Foreign Emperor's anger. However, that did not appear to be possible.
"I see, but being as she is still my concern till the wedding, I will ask to be present during this hearing to find who is at fault." Mordakai replied taking a step off the offensive but there was a tone to his voice that was very very clear there would be no argument. Though the Emperor was strong and proud, he knew better than to tempt Mordakai's anger.
