The move and training began almost simultaneously. Eve and Vivian managed the move, with Bryson's assistance. Ivory and Ember were busy helping Kyera train the dragons to work in tandem with the soldiers. Word of these things were caught on the wind… and taken far beyond the Silver Spine and into the Forest Gate.
Winter had come, snow had forced the Dark ones back to their camp. Verone trained vigorously with the other fighters, steam rising from his skin as his muscles heated the surrounding air. The four soldiers he was training each took hits while barely having time to try and land their own. He was beautiful and she couldn't help but admire it.
"They are building an Army, My Lady. If we let them prepare and bring the fight to us…" a general reminded her quietly, the scales on his cheek bones showed tension. She nodded slowly, dragging her eyes away from her eye candy.
"Yes… will have to force their hand before they are prepared. If that stupid woman had just brought us the Empress like we asked this would be so much simpler." She growled, cleaning dirt from under her claws. The General nodded his agreement.
"We can't take on Shadow Veil… not till we have the Key. The knights are with her now and unfortunately we can't exactly kidnap Talis or Daxin. What about her daughter? That Rasa Reece whatever her bloody name is?" She asked turning the the snake general who scratched his chin.
"Raina. She's a Dragon rider now. Never without those bloody dragons." He replied and she cursed, clawing the tree beside her.
"Then Akira. Use her as bait." She spat the option and again her general shook his head.
"No. She wants to kill her as it is. I don't think Kyera would lose much sleep and it's too difficult to kidnap Clovis." The General added. Then there were several moments of silence as the pair met eyes. A slow, malicious grin was shared between them.
"We could bide our time just a bit… if we let it slip we intend to target him…" she smiled wickedly and he just laughed a hissing laugh.
"Then she will do the hard part for us. You are incredibly smart, Prim." The general smiled and the girl glared at him. "My apologies, My lady." He corrected himself instantly.
"Don't call me by name again." She growled with fire in her tones. "Yes… this just might work. Put out the word. Specifically ask Servern to do it. She will find out within a couple days. The wheel begins to roll."
"Should we tell Verone?" The general asked glancing at the tiger who just laid his sparring partners out.
