Chapter 23 - I Dare You

With a thud, Hugh crashed onto the ground!

Hugh must have been full of regrets during his last moments. Prior to this, he had probably never thought that he would die here!

Aren’t you afraid that the Wilsons will create a fuss and seek you out for revenge, thereby attracting the attention of the master of the Hades Swords?!”

Heller answered dispassionately, “I told you, I don’t care!”

Heller almost burst out laughing.

Lucy was being a donkey in a lion’s skin and using the prestige of the Hades Swords to save her life!

Ironically, she didn’t know that Heller was the master of the Hades Swords himself! The hero in Lucy’s eyes, and the person whom she was trying so hard to befriend, was right before her eyes, yet she had thrown him away with such disdain!

What a joke!

Lucy gave him a charismatic smile and said convincingly, “I’m born so beautiful that no man can resist my charm! It was like that for you, and it’s like that for the master of the Hades Swords, too! I am the Hades Swords’ master’s woman! Mr. Nicholson, do you still want to kill me now? Do you dare to?”

Heller was entirely capable of exposing her lies, but he didn’t. He wanted very much to see Lucy exhausting her wit and racking her brains, only to discover in the end that he was the master of the Hades Swords.

He looked forward very much to seeing how interesting the expression on Lucy’s countenance would be when she found out!

“I originally came here tonight to kill you, but I’ve changed my mind now!” Heller stepped forward, brazenly grasped Lucy’s charming and beautiful face, and said coldly, “I’d be going too easy on you if I kill you so quickly!”

“You’re not worthy of death!”

“I will definitely find that person’s identity very soon, Lucy. This, I promise you!”

“Then, I will personally slaughter him before your very eyes!”

When he finished, Heller threw Lucy on the ground, turned around, and left!

Outside the villa, innumerable direct descendants of the Xanders were ready to move!

The butler looked at Heller and said coldly, “Are you thinking of leaving just like that after you killed Mr. Wilson? Dream on!”

“Get him!”

Behind, Lucy gazed at Heller’s straight and upright back with mixed feelings!

In this instant, she suddenly regretted her actions somewhat. She regretted the mistake she had made five years ago!

However, there was no turning back!

Now that things had come to this, she had already reached the point of no return!

Lucy gritted her teeth and shouted at Heller, “Heller, do you remember what day it is tomorrow?”

“It’s the day we got married five years ago! It’s also the Nicholsons’ death anniversary!”

In the courtyard, an infuriated Lucy stared at the dead bodies strewn all over the ground.

“Send Hugh’s body to the Wilsons and tell them that it was Heller who killed him!”

“Also, tell them that based on my understanding of Heller, he’ll definitely come to my celebration party tomorrow!”

“Tell them to make preparations in advance if they wish to avenge Hugh!”

“Yes, ma’am!”

Lucy went to the study, took out her cell phone, and dialed a number. She said respectfully, “Teacher, Heller is back! It seems like he’s noticed your presence!”

Heller arrived at a hospital in the southern war zone and saw the comatose Nelly.

Lindsey had already been waiting here for very long. She said respectfully, “Mr. Nicholson, Nelly’s situation doesn’t look too good. The operating room has been readied and we can proceed with surgery anytime.”

Heller said solemnly, “We’ll operate right away! I’ll do the surgery myself! You’ll be my assistant!”
