After a few minutes of waiting around Lady Melissa's maid, Sophia had finally came back with a piece of paper and some ink.
"May I know why you need a piece of paper and ink Lady Melissa?"
Sophia had a confused look on her face, she couldn't figure out why Lady Melissa had needed such a thing.
"I need to write my reply back of course."
Lady Melissa answered Sophia.
"But you could ask me to write it for you if you want,Lady Melissa."
Sophia was wondering why Lady Melissa didn't ask her to write a reply back for Lady Celine.
"Well Lady Celine wrote me a letter using her own handwriting and everything, so I thought that i should do the same to return the favour."
Sophia then realized how kind and considerate her mistress was, writing a letter back on her own, many would usually belittle peoplo from noble families who did that.
Often rumours going around that the family was going bankrupt so they couldn't afford their butlers or maids to write the letters for them.
Lady Melissa instead wanted to do it willingly.
After numerous failed attempts of Lady Melissa trying to write a reply back to Lady Celine, Lady Melissa was on the verge of giving up.
She didn't know that writing a letter would be this difficult, she had helped her butler write down a few letters, but at least for that she knew what to write!
Lady Melissa just had to write invitations for her debut party, but she didn't know how to reply to Lady Celine's letter.
She hadn't really written any letters in her past life either.
Lady Melissa decided to take a break, it wouldn't hurt right?
She decided to take a stroll in the garden, it had been quite some time since Lady Melissa had set foot in there.
Lady Melissa was happy and smiling when she saw all the beautiful flowers that were in the garden, in fact she didn't know that there were THIS much flowers.
She hadn't gone to the garden often before in her past life, so it made sense that she didn't know.
But she was stunned, the flowers were THAT beautiful, how could she have noticed it in her past life?
Now she understood why her mother was so proud of the garden, the flowers were all just so beautiful.
Lady Melissa suddenly had a thought come into her mind.
Just maybe, maybe she had an idea how to write a reply back to Lady Celine.
But that reply would wait as she wanted to spend more time in the garden, just relaxing herself.
Thirthy minutes had passed and here was Lady Melissa all in her room.
Lady Melissa was writing out her reply to Lady Celine.
It was as if her pen had a life of it's own with the speed it was moving, until the pen had finally came to a stop.
Lady Melissa was finally finished with her reply regarding Lady Celine's tea party invitation.
After re-reading her reply several more times, she decided that it wasn't that bad.
Though it certainly wasn't the best.
It would be alright for Lady Melissa to send her letter, deciding that she decided to call out her maid Sophia for opinions and to send Lady Melissa's letter.
"Sophiaa!Come here!"
Lady Melissa shouted, she could look for Sophia but she was too lazy to.
"Yes Lady Melissa!"
Sophia barged into Lady Melissa's room, worried that something bad might have happened to Lady Melissa.
"I need you to give me your opinions on my reply to Lady Celine's letter."
Lady Melissa was a bit red, she was embarassed to ask someone for their opinions on it, but the best way to improve was by asking.
So she decided to suck up her pride and just ask her maid, Sophia.
"Well I think the reply's good, though you should try to reduce the usage of informal words, since Lady Celine did the same.I think she prefers informal words than formal words."
That was what Sophia genuinely though,in her image of Lady Celine she could picture a bright, kind girl willing to help anyone.
Well at least that was the impression Lady Celine Candice Mendora had given off to Sophia when she wrote the invitation letter to Lady Melissa.
It was actually quite refreshing for both Sophia and Lady Celine to see a noblewoman who wasn't stuck-up or abused their power for once.
As there were too many who already did that, and Lady Melissa couldn't bare attending a party hosted by someone like...that.
Though luckily her maid Sophia had chosen the best decision for her, though it was in a completely random way, or else she would be attending a tea party hosted by a noblewoman she strongly hated or disliked.
"Okay Sophia, I'll do just that. Thanks for telling me. And can you stay here?I wanna write another reply and I want your opinion on it."
Lady Melissa kindly asked Sophia.
"No problem Lady Melissa!I'll stay here for as long as you need me to!"
Sophia cheerfully replied, she did have some work to do but she could ask one of her friends to cover for her.
Besides, she was more interested in what Lady Melissa's final reply would look like.
After hours of writing both Lady Melissa and Sophia were so tired.
Lady Melissa knew that after her first few tries it would be fine to send the letter, but she had kept accidentally crossing out letters or making errors in her reply.
Lady Melissa was a perfectionist, and she was determined to only send out the letter when it didn't even have anything wrong with it, like a scribble or something.
Therefore it took countless hours with both a tired Sophia and her tired mistress, Lady Melissa.
'At least the letter's perfect now.'
Lady Melissa thought to herself, though Sophia was wondering why Lady Melissa hadn't sent the first few letters instead as those were completely fine too.
Though Sophia wasn't a perfectionist so Lady Melissa knew that if she explained to Sophia, Sophia would simply not understand.
