"Yes, I'm sure your friend will wake up in a few days, if she doesn't then contact me again and I'll come."

"Alright, thank you for coming all this way doctor, I'll make sure to call you again if she doesn't wake up.Here's the fee."

Lady Melissa then handed the female doctor some silver coins as payment.

"Thank you, I'll leave now if you don't mind."

"Goodbye doctor."

Lady Melissa waved the doctor goodbye.

Before finally, the doctor had exited the room Sophia was currently in.

Lady Melissa didn't have any more of a choice but simply to believe, believe that Sophia would wake up in a few days.

'I hope you wake up soon Sophia.'

A few hours had passed now, and Lady Melissa had been at the room where Sophia was staying the whole time, supervising or just hoping by some miracle or chance Sophia would wake up with her bright smile.

It was now nearing the middle of the night, yet Lady Melissa was reluctant to go back to her room.

She just wanted Sophia to show a response, show her that she was fine and alive.

Sure she was physically alive but still Lady Melissa was incredibly worried for Sophia, after all Sophia had shown no signs of living except for the fact she was breathing and that her heart was beating.

As Lady Melissa was about to close her eyes, she heard a knock on the door.

"Lady Melissa, it is Derick. May I come in?"

"You may come in."

"I might be pushing your boundaries for saying this but, Lady Melissa please eat dinner, you haven't eaten anything at all ever since Sophia has been in this state."

"I. Won't. Eat."

Lady Melissa spoke slowly.

"Lady Melissa please eat."

"I won't eat until Sophia wakes up."

"Lady Melissa, please be sensible Sophia will wake up in maybe a few days or months or maybe even years. Do you seriously plan to go through years without eating?"

"If I use magic I'll be able to go through a few months without eating."

"You and I both know that there are DANGEROUS side effects of using that spell Lady Melissa, besides what if Sophia doesn't wake up for a few years? What are you going to do then?"

All of a sudden Lady Melissa went quiet.

"You don't even know what to do. Stop acting so impulsively and immaturely Lady Melissa."

"I'M NOT ACTING IMMATURELY!"

Lady Melissa suddenly shouted, without realizing it she had raised her tone.

"Sorry I didn't mean to shout at you, Derick."

"It's fine."

With a sigh, Derick closes the door before letting himself out.

'Lady Melissa needs to grow up.'

Derick thought, after all, he had knew her since childhood yet never once in his entire life he had never saw her act so childish and immature.

He wanted to try and tell her how it would be harmful to her health but he wasn't exactly the best at expressing himself so unintentionally he had hurt Lady Melissa's feelings.

He knew how badly she wanted to stay by Sophia's side while she was sick, he had done gone through a similar experience before.

It was when his dad was in a coma, Derick had ended up starving himself for months with the use of some magic.

But because of how he had starved himself he had little to no color on his face.

And his body...was a nightmare at that point, it was just all stick and bones.

Derick was dangerously thin and he looked like he had no emotion, nothing caused him to be happy.

Though he drank water every day, it wasn't much help as he didn't eat anything.

In the end, a friend of his had finally convinced Derick to stop starving himself because it was just...terrible seeing how thin Derick was.

His friend was just sick of it, seeing one of his closest friends starving himself every single day.

And Derick's friend had finally ended up convincing Derick to stop starving himself by slapping some common sense into him.

Though it wasn't useful at first, his friend kept repeating it to him almost every single day.

And in the end, Derick had realized how incredibly stupid he was to starve himself every single day, he just hoped Lady Melissa wouldn't create the same mistake as him.

After all Lady Melissa had just gone through her debut, and she was THE Lady Melissa, a lot of people would judge her if she had starved herself.

There would be much more gossip and judgemental stares looking down at Lady Melissa Mendy Shayla.

Though it was Lady Melissa's choice whether she would continue to lock herself up in Sophia's room, all Derick could do was hope for the best.

He had already tried to slap some sense into her, if she didn't listen to his words then he couldn't do anything more, he was just a mere butler and Lady Melissa was his mistress.

Maybe Lady Melissa's parents would try to convince her as well, that is if they arrived at the Shayla estate today, though it would be quite unlikely as they were on a business trip.
