"ARGH!"
The knight shouted, dirt getting into his eyes, and he had accidentally dropped the sword as well.
While the Knight was temporarily distracted, Lady Melissa used her feet to throw the sword out of the lines.
Earlier, they both had an agreement where they couldn't get out of the line, or else they would be eliminated from the duel, and by default, the other person would win.
The Knight, not being able to see blindly, walked to Lady Melissa and attempted to hit her with his hands.
Lady Melissa didn't attack or anything; she simply dodged gracefully as if she was waltzing in the ball.
The Knight started to get a little angrier as he noticed none of his punches had hit Lady Melissa, instead just hitting the air.
The Knight stopped punching, instead attempting to clear the dirt off of his eyes, which succeeded; though he couldn't see his surroundings clearly, it was enough for him to know what was in front of him.
"Come at me with your best shot."
Lady Melissa said, trying to rile up the Knight more and to get him more pissed before she would land a move to him.
The man, now noticing that he didn't have his sword with him, looked to where his sword might've been before noticing that it was outside of the line.
"Pfft, I don't need a sword to fight against someone like you."
The Knight said, looking down on Lady Melissa when just a few seconds ago, he couldn't see because of her.
"Suit yourself then."
Lady Melissa said before the Knight had suddenly run to her, trying to catch her off guard.
Which, of course, didn't happen. Lady Melissa simply dodged the Knight's sudden kicks and punches while putting on a confident smile.
After a couple more minutes of the Knight trying to land even a SINGLE punch or kick to Lady Melissa, he had grown tired, wasting much of his energy.
Lady Melissa decided that she was bored with the fight, quickly getting her sword and using her hands to bring the Knight down to the ground.
Lady Melissa used her sword, putting it on the Knight's neck, as blood was starting to come out of his neck.
After a few more seconds of Lady Melissa's sword gradually getting deeper and deeper to the knight's neck, the knight had ended up surrendering.
"I-I give up!"
The knight shouted as Lady Melissa immediately took her sword off of his neck, turning her back around and standing up, before all of a sudden, the knight charged at her, ready to punch her with his fist.
Lady Melissa, who had noticed this from the heavy footsteps, dodged the knight's attack with ease, almost as if she was mocking him for not even being able to send a single hit to her this entire time.
Lady Melissa, this time, tired of the man being so determined, decided she would end this once and for all, using her right leg to kick the man in the stomach before he fell to the ground, holding his stomach in pain.
Suddenly, he coughed up blood while Lady Melissa smiled at him; after all, he got what he deserved.
'If you aren't better than someone and don't like that person in particular, simply just don't talk about them, you don't have to talk illy about them or just be rude, all you just have to do is respect them.'
Lady Melissa thought in her head, knowing that the very least someone could do was give respect to another person.
"From now on, you are banned from ever entering the Shayla estate."
Lady Melissa said a cold smile on her face.
The knight, still coughing up blood, had nothing to say, instead of looking at her, hoping that Lady Melissa was playing some kind of joke to him.
But instead, Lady Melissa simply walked away from him, taking a bottle of water, on the empty bench, before realising that Duchess Ella had been there all along, staring at her.
"Bravo, Melissa, that was most impressive."
Duchess Ella said, clapping her hands.
"Why, thank you, Duchess Ella."
Lady Melissa replied, taking the bottle of water that was beside Duchess Ella.
"But...did you forget you had a class with me?"
Duchess Ella said.
"Well, I remembered I had a class with you, but then this so-called knight decided to challenge me, so who am I to decline his offer?"
Lady Melissa said, taking a few sips of her bottled water, sweat dripping from her forehead due to how hot today was/
"Is that so? Well then, how about another duel, right now?"
Duchess Ella said, a sly smirk on her face.
"Sure."
Lady Melissa said, her tone sounding monotone.
Duchess Ella took her sword, which she had brought with her, to the empty bench.
While Lady Melissa picked up her sword that she had left in the ground just now while having a duel with the knight.
The knight, however, was nowhere to be seen; Lady Melissa thought that he had probably left on his own, not wanting to be laughed at or ridiculed at by the other knights at his idiocy.
The two other knights? The third knight had disappeared amid Lady Melissa and the first knight's duel, while Lady Melissa assumed that the second knight had gone to help the first knight pack his things.
The first and second knight had seemed like they were friends; at least, that was what it had seemed to Lady Melissa.
'I should probably discuss with Duchess Ella about the murder while we duel, but hmm, there might be too many eyes here.'
Lady Melissa thought, thinking whether it would be a good idea if she discussed with Duchess Ella about the murder here, before thinking of an idea.
"Duchess Ella! Hurry up!"
Lady Melissa shouted, waving her hands.
"Wait!"
Duchess Ella shouted back.
Lady Melissa, preparing her stance, with her right leg in front of her left leg, and positioned herself to prepare what was going to come.
'Duchess Ella is gonna beat the shit out of me.'
Lady Melissa thought, but if she could even land a few hits on Duchess Ella, that would be good enough for the meantime.
