Alright, thanks, Victoria."
Lady Melissa said.
"Oh yeah, and one last thing, do you mind taking my place later? I have somewhere to be at."
Lady Melissa asked, hoping Victoria would say yes.
"Sure, what time do you need me to replace you, Lady Melissa?"
Victoria asked, eager to be able to experience the 'outside' world once more and not having to be trapped inside.
"Around 2-4 PM."
Lady Melissa replied.
"Oh yeah, I forgot to talk about last time; why did you only ask me one question? Why didn't you ask how to greet the teachers and everything?"
Lady Melissa curiously asked; after all, she didn't exactly know what was happening from Victoria's point of view, meaning she was completely defenseless.
And Lady Melissa had only remembered it now; she hadn't remembered it before since she had quite the busy day after her little meeting with Duke Mason.
"Well, I could kind of see you and that Duke was fighting, so I didn't want to interrupt your fight and perhaps be a hindrance to you, Lady Melissa."
Victoria said, being thoughtful of Lady Melissa, not wanting to be an annoyance or hindrance to them.
"I get your point, Victoria; however, you could've told me after I had finished my fight with him."
Lady Melissa said, still confused on why Victoria hadn't even mentioned a single thing about it.
"I just didn't want to annoy you, Lady Melissa; I know you were busy and everything; I'm sorry."
Victoria said, her tone sounding apologetic.
With a heavy sigh, Lady Melissa replied to Victoria.
"It's fine, Victoria… just next time, maybe try and tell me? It's okay if I'm busy; you can always tell me after; the point is just tell me."
Lady Melissa bluntly said, after all, she didn't want Victoria to hide things about her.
"Alright, Lady Melissa, sorry for hiding it from you; I'll make sure not to do it again."
Victoria said, apologising to Lady Melissa, her tone sounding as sincere and genuine as she could be.
"It's fine Victoria, as long as you make sure not to make the same mistake over and over again, I am completely okay with it."
Lady Melissa said, reassuring Victoria.
"Thanks, Lady Melissa, and once again, I am extremely sorry for this; I will make sure not to let you down again or repeat this mistake of mine."
Victoria said, apologising again to Lady Melissa.
Lady Melissa, forgetting the fact that Victoria wouldn't be able to see her nodding her head in agreement.
"Hello, Lady Melissa? Are you there?"
Victoria asked, after moments of Lady Melissa not saying anything, instead just shaking her head.
"Oh yeah, sorry, I forgot that you were inside of my gem and that you couldn't see me, haha."
Lady Melissa awkwardly laughed.
"I command you, Victoria Tabram, to not see things from my viewpoint and that you shall obey me."
Lady Melissa commanded out loud, ensuring that there was nobody there and not to say the words too loudly.
Although Lady Melissa trusted Victoria, she couldn't always be 100 per cent sure, and this was a good way of making sure that Victoria would obey her.
A few seconds after Lady Melissa had commanded that, suddenly Victoria started to talk to her.
"Lady Melissa, did you by any chance block me so I couldn't see things from your view?"
Victoria curiously asked.
"Yes, I did."
Lady Melissa said.
"Oh. Alright then."
Victoria replied, feeling a little hurt that Lady Melissa didn't trust her, but then again, she could understand why Lady Melissa felt that way; after all, they had only met for a few days.
"I'll talk to you later, Victoria; I have some lessons to attend to in a few minutes."
Lady Melissa said before rushing to the kitchen to get some snacks to eat, hearing Victoria mumble out a goodbye to her.
Lady Melissa noticed the chef just so happened to be there, and so was a bunch of brownies, quickly she snatched the brownies, leaving the chef speechless, not knowing what to do nor say, as Lady Melissa ran upstairs to her next lesson, not wanting to be late by any chance.
Lady Melissa, now somehow running, eating the brownies, and holding the other brownies inside of a bag, making sure that none of them would fall out.
After a few minutes, Lady Melissa succeeded in reaching her room, just as her brownies were about to finish too! And the best part? She had a minute or two remaining before her lesson would start.
'I need to start being more responsible next time.'
Lady Melissa thought, feeling as if she had always done things last minute.
A few minutes later, her teacher arrived in her room, ready to start her lesson today and get bored and tired.
An hour passed by, and it was now her next lesson, dancing; Lady Melissa had to skip this lesson, with a few others to meet her friend, Baron Kevin.
Lady Melissa quickly went into her bathroom, as her teacher hadn't arrived yet, taking that opportunity and deciding to use it to her advantage.
"Pssst, wake up, Victoria! It's time for us to switch!"
Lady Melissa whisper-shouted to Victoria, assuming that Victoria had been asleep the entire time.
"Huh? OH-!'
Victoria telepathically shouted, realising what Lady Melissa had been trying to say to her this entire time.
"OKAY, LADY MELISSA, LET'S SWITCH, JUST SAY THE WORD."
Victoria said, whisper-shouting at Lady Melissa, surprised as Lady Melissa had shouted at her while she was asleep.
"I command Victoria to leave the red pendant."
Lady Melissa said out loud, making sure she didn't say it too loud, however, not wanting anyone to hear her.
In an instance, Victoria appeared in the bathroom, wearing the original clothes she had been murdered with before Lady Melissa handed her the clothes Victoria needed to change into.
Lady Melissa quickly told Victoria the basics, reminding her to tell Lady Melissa whenever something happened.
Lady Melissa quickly chanted her invisibility spell, and the time was running; she had exactly one minute to exit the window somehow and leave the gates.
Lady Melissa took a deep breath, before throwing down the rope that she had taken with her while she was chanting the spell, and the rope had become invisible as well.
In fact, whatever object or person she touched while casting the spell would be invisible, but only for one minute.
The larger or longer the object was, the more energy it would take from Lady Melissa; after all, it was already tiring enough for her to cast the spell, so she wasn't able to make any other object; other than her clothes and a few other items in her pocket invisible, plus the rope too.
Victoria exited the bathroom stall, and luckily for Lady Melissa, her teacher hadn't arrived yet; quickly, she opened the window before lowering down the rope and climbing down from it quickly but steadily as well.
Although the first time, it was a little weird for Lady Melissa to climb down using the rope, this time, it was easier for her as she had done it before.
After a few seconds, Lady Melissa had finished climbing; she took the rope and pulled it before throwing it into a bush, making sure that every single piece of the rope was in the bush.
Lady Melissa ran and ran, and as luck would have it, the gates had happened to be empty, none of the guards in sight.
Lady Melissa looked to the right, and it turned out there was a guard; luckily for her, the guard was patrolling the area around the gate, which meant that she still had a chance of not getting caught.
Lady Melissa tried to open the gate as slow and soundless as she possibly could, trying to open it as little as possible so that the guard wouldn't notice a difference.
Those seconds that Lady Melissa spent to open the gates felt like an eternity to her, sweat beads were literally dripping down from her forehead, and the fact that her heart was beating 120-130 beats per minute wasn't helping her much either.
Lady Melissa, however, miraculously managed to pull it off, the guard not noticing that the gate was slightly open; Lady Melissa made sure to close the gate, slowly as well as she had done earlier to not alert the guard.
Somehow she had succeeded. Afterwards, Lady Melissa ran and ran, trying to make her running as soundless as possible; it wouldn't be good news to her if the guard had heard some running and decided to investigate it.
Lady Melissa ran and ran for a good few seconds before she had suddenly turned visible again, almost causing her to say something out of shock before remembering that she wasn't that far from the Shayla estate. If she said anything, the guard would probably check it out to see where the noise had come from.
Instead, Lady Melissa, who had come to a halt for a few seconds at her surprise of suddenly turning visible, wasted no time and quickly continued running, making sure that her footsteps weren't too loud.
