Now Lady Melissa was great under peer pressure most of the time, unfortunately that didn't apply to dancing.
She had danced a number of times with some suitors, before she met the Crown Prince and had ended up stepping on all of their feet, and soon enough the suitors disappeared, not wanting to be with a woman who couldn't even know how to dance.
Thus Lady Melissa asked her parents to allow her to take dancing lessons in her second life, who knew maybe it would be useful to her in the future.
Besides, if she was going to host more balls in the future she needed to learn how to dance, she didn't want to be a laughing stock for all of society.
A woman, at the age of 20, not learning how to dance? Especially Lady Melissa? It would certainly be something Lady Melissa would be made fun for.
The capability of not being able to dance, at her age, and with the status she had, Lady Melissa didn't know how to dance.
Though that wasn't really Lady Melissa's fault since her parents did try and make her childhood as stress-free as possible, and didn't force her into a variety of lessons and hobbies, which Lady Melissa was grateful for.
Her parents had always cared for her, ever since she was a child.
Although society didn't approve of their actions, her parents fought against them, not wanting their child to be stressed when she was only a kid, not some grown up.
Lady Melisssa was extremely grateful for that, because of her parents' selfless actions she was able to genuinely enjoy childhood, as a child, not having to worry about any of the worries such as academics.
She just wished she could go back to that, which was selfish of her to even think about, but she just wanted to be able to go back and not take things for granted.
Although, even in her current life right now she is still kind of taking many things for granted, but she's certainly improved from her previous one.
Which was great progress, considering she used to be a very different girl in her previous life compared to her current one right now.
Lady Melissa longed that one day, she would be able to find a love as perfect as her parent's.
Although they did have their ups and downs, they managed to stick through with each other and give birth to an amazing beautiful little girl, which in this case was Lady Melissa of course.
A love as pure as her parents, a marriage where they married because of love.
Not for money or status or anything but just for love.
She wished she would be as lucky as them, and that one day maybe she would be able to find the love of her life too.
Until then though, the idea would have to stay on hold, and the love of her life would remain as her parents.
Which she knew sounded cheesy, but they were the love of her life.
Her parents, for giving up so many things for her, and for being so selfless and caring for her, being so thoughtful.
She was grateful that they were her parents, and that they genuinely cared for her and always wanted the best.
Even if she had her up and downs with her parents, she wanted them to know that no matter whatever happens to her, or her parents, she would still love them at the end of the day.
No matter whatever happens to the three of them, at the end of the day they would always be family, and be there for each other.
Lady Melissa wished she could be able to tell them that, but she didn't know how, especially with her parent's anniversary coming up soon she wanted to plan something special for her parents.
Which would show and express her love and feelings for the both of them.
Their anniversary was on Friday, and Lady Melissa had four days to prepare for it.
Luckily, she had already called a florist beforehand to make a custom made bouquet for her mother, filled to the brim with roses of course as she knew it was her mother's favourite flower.
Lady Melissa had also prepared a gift for her father, a business deal that she had managed to do, which she knew had meant a lot to her father.
A little deal that she managed to be able to do with the help of some connections of hers, which she knew her father would absolutely love.
Lady Melissa was also planning to bring them to somewhere romantic, and sweet for their anniversary night, maybe to eat some hotpot, sushi or some of their own food from the United Kingdom, she was still thinking of that one.
Lasly, for the finishing touch, Lady Melissa would be making a song for the both of them, to show to them that she genuinely cared.
Using her piano, since she was kind of a prodigy in it.
It was the only instrument she could play, and she had been playing it ever since she was a child.
It was one of the lessons that she would genuinely enjoy, other than recess.
Music was Lady Melissa's way of expressing herself, though society wasn't particularly much of a fan of women with music, Lady Melissa still liked piano.
In fact, Lady Melissa still took piano lessons till this very day, with the same teacher she had ever since she was a child.
Lady Melissa had already had an idea of the title for her song, and she was already halfway done with the song's lyrics. The only problem was that she didn't know how to continue the other half, she knew what she needed to do but just didn't know how to say it and what to sing and write.
If she only played the first half of the song for her parents then it would obviously be too short, and it wouldn't sound that great.
Lady Melissa knew that she just needed to think and write about her feelings about her parents, but she had already included almost everything in the first half.
Unless...
Lady Melissa thought, as an idea had appeared in her head, she could write something in the second half.
