Lady Melissa loved them of course, but they were too busy with work, everything on their mind was work work work.

And, as much as a workaholic Lady Melissa was, she preferred if she and her parents were able to see each other, all three of them, at least 5 times a week.

She didn't have to see them 7 times a week or more, like how it had originally been.

Lady Melissa wanted to see them 7 times a week, but with their busy schedule she knew that they wouldn't have that much time to spare, even if it was for their one and only child.

Hopefully, though they did have time to spare for the three of them to see each other five times a week.

Heck, it didn't even have to be through breakfast, dinner or anything, she could just have a chat with them five times a week.

It could be for five minutes, an hour, or even more, as long as she would be able to see them and have a conversation with them, as brief as the conversation was.

Deep down, Lady Melissa wanted more, but she knew she was already asking for a lot.

Her parents were busy, and she had already burdened them with so many things, if she asked them this she would feel as if she was burdening them more.

Lady Melissa was debating whether she should even bring up the idea to them or not, since they might not even have enough time.

Or maybe they didn't want to see her, because they wanted to spend the time relaxing.

Which Lady Melissa could understand, as sometimes, even she wouldn't want to socialize with others, even if they were her closest friends or family members.

Sometimes, Lady Melissa would prefer time alone, with herself, rather than with a group of friends or anything.

Even if it was her family, Lady Melissa would prefer time alone to recharge herself after the tiring day or week she had.

Lady Melissa needed alone time, with herself and no one else, it could be for a couple of minutes, to maybe even a couple of hours or days.

Lady Melissa would still communicate with her friends and family of course, but she would communicate with them significantly less.

It was so she could relax and just have time with herself, not having to worry about any of her friends or families.

Unless it was of course emergencies, then and only then would Lady Melissa stop herself from having her alone time.

She considered herself important of course, but she cared more for her family and friends, especially if it was an emergency.

She had to be there for them, no matter what.

That was how much her friends and family had meant to her, that she was willing to sacrifice a lot for them.

Lady Melissa wondered if her parents would agree with her request to see their faces at least five times a week.

Hopefully, they would say yes, and if they said no, Lady Melissa could always renegotiate with them regarding how many times she could see their faces in a week.

Maybe, by some miracle, her parents would agree to her request, or they would not, which Lady Melissa would be disappointed if they did not.

Lady Melissa let out a sigh, at 7 AM in the morning, she hoped that her parents would agree to her request.

That way even if they didn't have breakfast or dinner together, they would all still be seeing each other and she would know what had happened to them.

What minor occurrences that made them smile, or something in their daily life that made them angry. Nonetheless, Lady Melissa would be delighted to even have a chat with them.

Both of them, besides she had missed all the dad jokes her father would make at the dinner table, and she had missed her mother's sarcastic attitude as well.

She missed their playful conversations and the jokes that they would all share with each other. She missed even the smallest details of her parents.

Lady Melissa just kept missing them, even when she tried her best not to. It had only been a day or two and she had already been acting like this.

She thought not to be selfish, and not to make them busier with her request. Lady Melissa thought that maybe she should try and understand her parents.

Well, it wasn't like she didn't understand her parents but she was still being selfish. A part of her had blamed them for not showing up during dinner or breakfast.

And another part of her kept saying Lady Melissa was being selfish and that she should know that they were busy with work.

Lady Melissa told herself to get over it, they were probably only going to be busy for a short period of time anyway, and she had practically an entire lifetime to earn back their love, time and happy memories.

She kept telling herself not to be so selfish, besides even if she wasn't able to see them five times a week, she would at least get to see them during their anniversary, and hopefully she would be able to spend a good amount of time with them.

They had to take some time aside for their anniversary right? Of course work was important, Lady Melissa understood that part but their anniversary had to be more important right? It wouldn't hurt for them to set some time aside to do some work right?

They had practically all year to do work, but spending time with all three of them together on their anniversary couldn't be done anytime. It was a one-time thing every year, and it was something special between all three of them, especially for her parents.

Although Lady Melissa hadn't attended her parent's anniversary's multiple times in her previous life, she couldn't allow herself to make the same mistake, and in her current life she had only realized how important an anniversary was, especially to her parents.
