Lady Melissa thought that the brunette-haired woman was fictional.
Never in a million years, did Lady Melissa ever think that the brunette-haired woman would be real.
Or, maybe Lady Melissa had just tried to convince herself that there was no way the brunette-haired woman could be real.
"Hey, hey Melissa, you didn't do anything wrong okay?"
The Duke said, as he pulled his daughter for a hug.
Lady Melissa stayed silent, knowing that her silence would make her parents sympathize for her even more, feeling bad that she even thought of such a thing.
After a few more minutes of Lady Melissa trying to take advantage of her parent's sympathy so she could go out to the capital to gain more intel regarding the brunette-haired woman, and so her lessons would be reduced, it had worked.
All Lady Melissa had to do was simply act how sorry she had felt regarding the whole situation, and just cry out some tears.
Maybe Lady Melissa should consider being an actress in the near future, after everything was done of course.
Lady Melissa walked out of the door, letting out a little smile, before she dropped the smile and her face returned to how it would normally look.
Lady Melissa walked back into her room, as Justin was waiting for her the whole time.
"We're going out tomorrow."
Lady Melissa said to Justin, quickly giving him a glance as he nodded his head, following her after.
Lady Melissa needed to write down everything she knew about the brunette-haired woman, from the tiniest details.
First of all, her first encounter with the brunette-haired woman was in her nightmares, and at first the woman was seemingly normal.
Not attempting to murder Lady Melissa or anything, only talking with the Crown Prince and acting normal.
That continued to happen for the next or next two times Lady Melissa had saw the brunette-haired woman.
The brunette-haired woman would just initially appear in her dreams with the Crown Prince, the both of them simply just talking to each other.
Then, the first nightmare came.
Sophia's dead body, her rotten corpse, was the first nightmare that Lady Melissa had gotten from the brunette-haired woman.
The first nightmare didn't include of the brunette-haired woman trying to murder Lady Melissa, but the ones following it, did so.
Lady Melissa's most recent encounter with the brunette-haired woman was the drowning incident she had earlier today.
Lady Melissa was conflicted though, all she had was just a couple of encounters with the brunette-haired woman, and from her past nightmares, she knew the brunette-haired woman could change her identity at any point.
How would Lady Melissa be able to find her identity if the brunette-haired woman would change it every time?
And more importantly, why did the brunette-haired woman want Lady Melissa dead so badly?
Lady Melissa had dozens of questions, only no answers.
Lady Melissa quickly opened her drawers, taking one of the empty pieces of papers before she titled it 'the brunette-haired woman' on the top.
Lady Melissa wrote down on the piece of paper, about her first encounter with the brunette-haired woman, the last encounter she had with the brunette-haired woman in her nightmare, and everything she could remember during the incident earlier where Lady Melissa had almost died.
Lady Melissa could remember most of the details regarding the drowning incident earlier since it was her first life-death encounter, at least in this life.
Lady Melissa hoped it would be her last life-death situation too, but she knew that it wouldn't be, especially with the brunette-haired woman and if Lady Melissa was planning to take down the Crown Prince.
This was only the beginning of Lady Melissa's story, she knew there were going to be more life-death situations she would be encountering in the future.
Lady Melissa put the piece of paper back into her drawer, as she flipped through some files, realizing that she hadn't continued her investigation about the letters.
Lady Melissa considered continuing her investigation regarding the letters for a few minutes, before thinking that she had more important and bigger things to focus on.
Like who the brunette-haired woman was and why she had wanted to desperately kill Lad Melissa.
Lady Melissa spent the next few hours she had remaining before dinner, to try and think about all the possible answers on who the brunette-haired woman was.
Maybe it was one of the many Crown Prince's girls who he would often invite to the manor to spend the night with him, and the woman had spotted the Crown Prince and Lady Melissa together.
Getting the idea that the Crown Prince was in love with Lady Melissa, and then maybe the brunette-haired woman had been given a second chance in life.
And she felt jealous that Lady Melissa was able to have the Crown Prince 'love' Lady Melissa in her previous life, so she was determined to kill Lady Melissa before she had even met the Crown Prince.
It wasn't the best theory, but it was a reasonable one.
Since, there was a chance that other people, like Lady Melissa, had been given a chance at having a second life.
The brunette-haired woman could've appeared in Lady Melissa's dreams by asking a witch, or wizard, to cast a spell on Lady Melissa, and then she would enter Lady Melissa's dreams from then on.
And then, the brunette-haired woman would take advantage of that and take control of Lady Melissa's dreams, using them to try and attempt to murder Lady Melissa, since she probably couldn't do so in real life yet.
Maybe the brunette-haired woman wasn't currently at where Lady Melissa was, hence she had to resort to such methods, or maybe the brunette-haired woman had other reasons why she couldn't attempt to murder Lady Melissa.
There were still multiple plot holes though with the theory that Lady Melissa had thought of regarding the brunette-haired woman.
Like how the brunette-haired woman had happened to be right there in the very same lake Lady Melissa had been, and managed to pull her down.
