Chapter 210 - 210

Lady Melissa trusted the girl of course-, but she was more aware and alert now with the number of incidents that had happened in the past couple of days.

Lady Melissa decided that it wouldn't hurt putting a secret camera in the room, as she would put an invisibility spell on it and come and collect it later after she had put the girl back inside her place.

Lady Melissa let out a sigh of relief, she didn't really want to ask Victoria for help, but she didn't have much of a choice.

Lady Melissa looked through her dressing room as she searched for the necklace; which she hoped she hadn't lost somewhere in the house, or elsewhere for that matter.

"I command you to come out Victoria."

Lady Melissa said, as she commanded Victoria to come out, who instantly did so- or was forced to do so the moment Lady Melissa had said those very same words.

"Hello, Lady Melissa! How have you been these past few days? Are you-"

Victoria said before she was soon cut off by Lady Melissa's sentence.

"Greetings to you as well, Victoria, I've been doing fine these past few days, I hope you have been too."

Lady Melissa said, as she quickly looked up and down at Victoria, making sure that she hadn't noticed it.

"I have an urgent matter to discuss with you."

Lady Melissa said as Victoria simply nodded her head, wondering what the urgent matter just so happened to be.

"You're going to be me for the day, of course, if you're still up to it?"

Lady Melissa asked as she narrowed her eyes, staring at Victoria.

"Of course Lady Melissa! I'd be more than delighted to do so."

Victoria said, as she brought her arms together and acted cute in front of Lady Melissa.

"Alright, I'll call upon you later."

Lady Melissa said, though there wasn't much for Victoria to do since Lady Melissa had already finished the paperwork, and there were no lessons for the day.

'I have to take care of her soon.'

Lady Melissa thought as she stared at Victoria, she couldn't always have her as a replacement, even having her replace her right now was already a lot of trust that Lady Melissa had put on the girl.

'Just this time, then I'll take care of her.'

Lady Melissa thought, after this, she was going to let Victoria out somehow-perhaps she'd call a wizard of sorts.

Lady Melissa was excited to find out her new bodyguards, as the thought suddenly dawned upon her. Victoria was going to be meeting the new bodyguards, and there was no telling what some of them might do to her.

After all, Victoria's personality was the complete opposite compared to Lady Melissa's, she was shy whilst Lady Melissa could stand up for herself.

Lady Melissa looked at Justin, perhaps she needed to tell him some things later. There was no doubt that Justin had probably already heard a bit of her and Victoria's conversation.

"Come in Justin."

Lady Melissa said, as Justin suddenly flinched, he didn't expect her to know that he had overheard her conversation.

"Some new bodyguards are coming today, so keep an eye out for me, I'll be going somewhere, and make sure to use the bracelet and rings and be alert, at the girl who's gonna replace me alright?"

Lady Melissa asked Justin, though it sounded much like an order instead of a question.

"Yes, Lady Melissa."

Justin said he had hundreds of questions to ask Lady Melissa, yet he knew he couldn't. He was aware of his place-and that was to be her guard dog, someone who was below her someone who was inferior to her, and that meant he wasn't going to be given the opportunity to ask such questions.

Justin was still quite confused though he got the whole concept, but his mind was racing, did Lady Melisssa have a twin sister?

Or who was this person that was going to replace her for this day that he needed to watch an eye on- he wanted to know.

His curiosity was getting the best of him, but he thought that he'd find out later. Lady Melisssa thought of telling Sophia about it for a second before she changed her mind, Sophia was going to somehow accidentally slip up or something, and she couldn't have that.

Lady Melissa decided not to tell Sophia then, not wanting her to get added into this whole problem. Lady Melissa's mind trailed to meeting Duke Alphonso, she had already warned the employees what would happen if word of their meeting got leaked.

And since last time her meeting with Duke Gaston there hadn't leaked, yet. She decided that it wouldn't hurt to give Duke Alphonso a try. In addition to that, Lady Melissa could always just kill the employees if they disobeyed her.

After all, they were replaceable, which she was not. Lady Melissa had a few events planned for the week; she'd be inviting the three of them to meet each other on Friday, four days after today.

And before that there was going to be a charity event that she was going to do on Wednesday, there wasn't anything going on for Tuesday and Thursday except for Lady Melissa doing her paperwork-like usual.

It was her stress-free day, though not really since there were still some things for her to do on that day, but it was close enough. Lady Melissa had planned the charity event with the help of Derreck.

Lady Melissa was going to be donating to an orphanage, which Lady Melissa had searched herself, and seen herself.

She didn't want the money she was donating to go to waste because of corrupt Barons or so, so she had taken the time out of her day to find the charities, that way she can see from her own two eyes whether they actually helped the children or not or whether the money was going to be used for their own selfish greed.

Lady Melissa wasn't dumb enough to blindly donate to some charity and just never visit it anymore, she was planning to, since the charity she was going to visit was one that took care of orphans, specifically children, she decided that it wouldn't hurt.

Lady Melissa would donate a sizable sum to the charity, in her family's name, of course, she couldn't allow all of the credit to go to her, as much as she wanted it to.
