It was strange though since Lady Melissa couldn't feel anyone's presence in the surrounding area that she was in, how skilful was this person? Somehow had managed to kidnap her and she couldn't even sense their presence at all.
Nonetheless, Lady Melissa quickly got back to work, as the boulder had hit the metal door, creating a very big dent, as she pushed the boulder to the right, making sure to be more alert and aware than usual- though it wasn't as if she hadn't been already, considering that this wasn't her territory, she already knew to be more aware and alert than usual.
Lady Melissa stopped for a few seconds, before she heard a loud sound from the door, had she finally managed to open the door? And indeed she had- even though it wasn't that big, Lady Melissa could see an obvious crack on the door.
That was all the motivation Lady Melissa had needed to keep going, as she immediately got back to work, now more motivated with the newly-found fact that she had opened the door, even if it was a bit.
Lady Melissa had expected the door to open all the way, but for some reason it didn't, she was sure that there was still something blocking it, as Lady Melissa spent the next few minutes thinking about what she was going to do next.
Lady Melissa decided that she'd use her brute force to open the door once again, though she hadn't expected for the door to actually open when she did so, instead of her earlier movements where she pushes with all her might, she punched the metal door multiple times, and slowly the door was starting to budge- as little by little, the cracks in the door grew bigger and bigger with every one of Lady Melissa's punches.
Lady Melissa quickly got moving- although the door was open just enough to let her whole body fit inside, she had a feeling that it was going to close any second now, and she didn't want to still be stuck here after all the effort that she had put into trying to get the door open.
Lady Melissa had successfully managed to get her body to the other side of the door, though barely, as her head was stuck for a few minutes before she had eventually gotten her head out of the door.
Lady Melissa, although her head and her chest were already inside, the lower part of her body wasn't, and she decided that she'd just look around her surroundings later on after she had successfully entered the door.
Luckily though, after several minutes had passed, which felt like several centuries to Lady Melissa, she had managed to get all of her body parts to pass through the door safely- other than a few minor injuries now and then at least.
Lady Melissa brushed her dress, as she stared at her surroundings, it was a tunnel as well, though she had expected it, what was different with this compared to the previous tunnel was that this one had books.
It was like a library, filled with books as Lady Melissa's eyes widened- who in the right mind would build a library in a TUNNEL? The one who had kidnapped her must have been spending much of their lives down here, which sounded horrible to Lady Melissa.
She couldn't even imagine going that long without social contact, even though she liked to keep to herself sometimes, she liked talking with others as well- though it didn't have to even be necessarily talking.
It could just be the simplest interactions between each other, like someone helping her out, or a noble sending her a smile, and her sending them one back social interaction didn't have to be direct to Lady Melissa.
Nonetheless, Lady Melissa started approaching the books- there were hundreds of them, maybe even thousands, as she touched one of them, as she felt an electric shock going through all of her body, reading the title.
'Crown Prince Henry and Lady Melissa,'
Lady Melissa's eyes widened, even though she had already touched the book earlier, by accident, her curiosity was getting the best of her, as her hand slowly reached out about to read the book a second time.
What was this about? Who wrote this? More importantly, who had purposely kidnapped her, and was the kidnapper in the very same room that Lady Melissa was in? Why did the kidnapper even know about this?
Hundreds of questions filled up Lady Melissa's head, and before she could even have time to process all of them, she heard a booming voice as her thoughts were interrupted due to the booming voice.
"You dare enter my realm?"
The booming voice said, as Lady Melissa turned her head around by instinct- she had been so caught up with the book and everything that she had failed to even realize that someone was there with her.
Lady Melissa turned her head around, she was a little nervous to see who this was- knowing that she didn't have the upper hand when this wasn't her territory, and she couldn't even use magic to help her either.
Lady Melissa looked up and down- her eyes widening in disbelief, was she seeing and hearing things correctly? Perhaps she was hallucinating because of the lack of human interaction she had so far, and maybe the hunger and fear were getting to her.
"You're annoying me, and no you're not hallucinating."
The wolf said as he answered Lady Melissa's thoughts, a fierce look on his face, as the wolf towered over Lady Melissa, three to four feet taller than her, or at least she assumed that was how different the height difference between the two of them was.
"You're…real?"
Lady Melissa asked as she couldn't understand what was happening- she had never expected for something like this, she had heard that the last of the Wolf Pack who could speak had died hundreds of years ago.
"What do you think?"
The wolf said, as it snapped at Lady Melissa, giving a sarcastic reply to her question as he was seemingly fed up with everything that was going on, though how could he not? He was interrupted from his sleep.
