Before Lady Melissa could make a move on the werewolf though, it had managed to do it before her- again.
Based on what Lady Melissa had seen from the werewolf for the past five minutes was that it was smart, having the intelligence of a normal human- or even more than a normal human, it was faster than Lady Melissa.
However, the werewolf didn't have exactly the best aiming range, considering the fact that it had made a number of misses when trying to attack Lady Melissa earlier on.
Not only that, the werewolf had more strength than the average human- though that was a given considering how tall it was, twice Lady Melissa's height, its head was almost touching the ceiling of Lady Camilia's room.
Lady Melissa would love to teleport out of here- somewhere filled with people, where she would at least be safer, but to do that she needed to be able to concentrate, and with a huge werewolf in front of her which for some reason, was standing on its two legs like a human (another one of the reasons why Lady Melissa had assumed that the wolf was Lady Camilia).
Lady Melissa managed to dodge the werewolf for a second time now, as she tried to think of a plan whilst the werewolf was constantly sending her attacks.
Lady Melissa concentrated, thinking hard, whilst never letting her guard down, knowing the very moment she did so, the werewolf was going to take the opportunity to strike her down.
Lady Melissa's eyes widened a bit, the plan could work, but was she fast enough for it? As much as Lady Melissa wanted to, she couldn't just leave Lady Camilia's room, she wasn't that much of a douchebag.
She still cared for other people's lives, and it would certainly raise some eyes if for some reason, Lady Melissa out of all people- had brought out a werewolf, which stood on its own two feet, who suddenly attacked the people in the royal palace.
There was no doubt that people would immediately assume that Lady Melissa had somehow made the werewolf attack them, and Lady Camilia was going to be brought as the victim, which would certainly be used to her advantage.
This was exactly why Lady Melissa wanted to stop Lady Camilia from terrorizing the people in the royal palace. It was honestly a wonder to Lady Melissa how most of the things in the room were still in good condition.
Sure, the floor's tiles had broken a few times, and there were a few desks, lamps and vases that had been smashed, but other than that, everything was in good condition.
Lady Melissa had spoken too soon, the werewolf took the table, the one that was originally used to hold the teacup she and Lady Camilia put on, and put in behind its back, as Lady Melissa got ready to dodge, taking a deep breath.
Lady Melissa knew she could dodge this- but was she fast enough to do so?
"Ready or not, here I come."
Lady Melissa said, putting on a confident smirk on her face, though that couldn't be farther from reality- she was a mess inside, though she was doing an absolutely wonderful job not showing it.
Lady Melissa bolted, as the werewolf stood, surprised by her actions as it just…stood. Lady Melissa went behind the werewolf, taking the rope that was on the table.
Although she knew that it wouldn't be enough to take down the wolf- or in other words Lady Camilia, it would at least distract it for a few minutes or so, and that was all Lady Melissa needed.
As if on cue, the door was quickly opened, before it was shut, Duke Gaston was now inside the room- along with Justin for that matter.
Lady Melissa momentarily gazed at them, though not that long since there was a werewolf that was going to attack her any moment right now, and she preferred to be alive.
Luckily though, the werewolf hadn't heard of Duke Gaston and Justin, as it was too focused on observing Lady Melissa and seeing her reactions and such, its…hand? was on its chin?
Duke Gaston got behind the wolf, and so did Justin, as Lady Melissa swiftly threw the rope to the both of them, the werewolf, luckily hadn't seen it, as the both of them carefully sneaked up on the wolf.
However, at the last second, the werewolf turned around, sensing a presence, as its eyes widened, however it charged for Justin, luckily, before anything happened to him.
Duke Gaston had managed to knock him out, which caused Lady Melissa to be surprised. She knew that Duke Gaston was buff and strong- but she didn't know that he was THAT strong.
Justin quickly used the rope to tie the werewolf's arms and legs together, as Lady Melissa let out a sigh of relief- she had been too invested in the whole thing that she hadn't even been realizing she had been holding her breath this entire time.
"Thank you."
Lady Melissa said, giving a small smile to Duke Gaston, not even questioning why or how she was here- as instead, she averted her gaze towards Justin, raising an eyebrow at him.
Justin in return, let out a nervous smile, knowing that he was going to be in a very long scolding later on, though on the bright side, at least they had managed to take down the werewolf.
"How do we…dispose of the body?"
Duke Gaston asked, as Lady Melissa thought that the way he had phrased the question made it seem like they had just commited murder or something, at least Lady Melissa thought that she hadn't committed murder.
Or hoped that she hadn't committed murder, though at least this way, she wouldn't have to worry about Lady Camilia anymore, and she had finally gotten revenge on Lady Camilia, for trying to murder her multiple times in the past.
This was Lady Melissa's way of moving forward from the whole situation regarding Lady Camilia and the werewolf.
